After taking a shower, Iris Harris erged wrapped in a robe.
"Miss Harris..."
Faye stood by the door, trembling, and when she saw Iris co out, she softly called to her.
Iris’s face was very pale; her skin was already fair, but now it was translucent white, as if it might dissipate with a breath of wind in the sunlight.
Her damp hair, like seaweed, spread behind her, casting a lazy silhouette over her exquisitely delicate face.
She might not be as glamorous as Viola Harris, but she had a certain charm, like a white plum blossom, calmly standing there, silently exuding her own unique fragrance.
"Your face looks terrible, would you like to get you so dicine?"
Iris walked towards the study, hesitated upon hearing Faye’s words, and said, "Could you please get so painkillers and anti-inflammatory drugs?"
Her body had been torn by Brandan, and she still felt a faint pain when walking.
She was too embarrassed to go to the hospital for treatnt.
So she thought it best to just take so dicine.
Faye heard this, nodded hesitantly, and as she saw Iris enter the study, she couldn’t help but advise, "Miss Harris, if you’re not feeling well, you shouldn’t work."
Iris smiled at Faye and said, "I’m fine."
Then she opened the study door and went in.
Faye stood at the door, looking at the tightly closed study door, and sighed softly.
In her mory, Iris never seed to have any entertainnt activities.
Except for attending those necessary business banquets, she would co back from the company and continue to handle docunts in the study.
She seed like a workaholic.
Faye sotis wondered if, apart from work, Iris’s life was all about Brandan.
However, the person she was so concerned about treated her poorly.
Thinking of this, Faye sighed softly, feeling Iris did not deserve this.
She was so outstanding, she could have any kind of man, why was she so fixated on a man who didn’t like her, even detested her?
Yet when it cos to matters of the heart, who can say for sure...
Sighing once again, Faye shook her head and hurriedly left to buy dicine for Iris.

After the drugging incident, Iris didn’t think about Brandan for a while.
Perhaps it was human instinct to escape; she couldn’t bear the thought of Brandan treating her that way.
So she could only deceive herself by not thinking about him.
Constantly working without rest, her already unhealthy body had recently grown tired easily.
In the office, Iris massaged her temples and put down the pen she was using to review docunts.
"Manager Harris, the ti is late, you should head ho early to rest."
Secretary C walked in from outside, smiled at her, and gently said.
Iris looked up and glanced out the window, saying a bit helplessly, "Oh, it’s this late already."
"Yes, it’s been half an hour past closing ti." Secretary C said while carrying a bag, "I knew you’d probably be busy and forget the ti, so I ca specifically to remind you."
Iris nodded, "I get it."
She then shut down her computer, stretched her aching arms, and finally took her briefcase to leave the office.
It had been so ti since the end of the workday, and the company was deserted. Iris was contemplating what to eat for dinner while heading towards the exit.
Suddenly, her steps halted. She looked surprised at the company’s entrance—
The entrance, which should have been empty, was now lively, surrounded by a group of people. Upon closer inspection, they were all female employees from her company, each whispering with indelible excitent and astonishnt on their faces.
Who had co by?
