Brandan Hyde said these words and then turned away.

When he’s heartless to soone, he really shows no rcy.

Viola Harris fell to the ground, crying in despair, but did not make Brandan Hyde look back even once.

In the afternoon, Lady Hyde ca to see her.

Lady Hyde had always been kind to her. She was locked in the hospital by Brandan Hyde, and afraid she would be bored, Lady Hyde often ca to keep her company.

"Auntie," Iris Harris took a bite of the candied pear Lady Hyde handed to her, and said, "I want to go out."

Lady Hyde was taken aback: "Huh?"

"I don’t like the hospital." Iris Harris looked at her, "I want to go out."

Lady Hyde slowly put down the pear in her hand, looked at Iris Harris’s pale and thin face, and sighed softly.

"Iris, Auntie knows you have grievances against Brandan." She said softly, "But don’t joke with your life."

Iris Harris looked at her own hand, the blue veins on the back of her hand were very obvious.

After a long ti, she replied, "But, rather than die in the hospital, I would rather go outside."

"Who says you’re going to die?" Lady Hyde’s voice grew louder, she grabbed Iris Harris’s hand, eyes red, and said, "They will find a matching bone marrow! You’re so young, how could you die..."

"Auntie, you were there that day ten years ago, right."

Lady Hyde’s hand stopped, and she looked up at Iris Harris.

"That day, Brandan told he would co back for sure."

Her smile slowly beca sorrowful, "I’ve waited for so long. I really can’t wait any longer. All these years, I’ve just been waiting for his promise. But..." The shimring tears slowly rolled down her eyes, "He won’t co back. Auntie, isn’t that right?"

"Iris..." Lady Hyde moved her lips, as if wanting to say sothing, but bit her lip.

"If I had known I wouldn’t get him back in ten years," She raised her hand, wiping away her tears furiously, "I wouldn’t have waited for him for so long. I wouldn’t have beco like this."

She might be sad for a long ti, might still dream of that young man.

But she wouldn’t be like this, utterly despondent.

In this long-awaited period of absence, she exhausted all her strength, even the desire to live vanished completely.

The most painful isn’t being hurt, but being betrayed by that person.

"Don’t save , Auntie." She cried, "Let go. He’s not coming back anymore, is he?"

Lady Hyde raised her hand to hold her tightly; she bit her lip hard, her expression sowhat struggling.

No one regretted it more than her.

At that mont of impulse, she caused Iris Harris to fall to such a state.

But now, how could she watch Iris Harris go seek death with her eyes open?

"Iris, take care of yourself," Lady Hyde raised her head to look at her, "There’s hope only if you’re alive, right?"

Iris Harris bowed her head, saying nothing.

Lady Hyde never expected that the day after this conversation, Iris Harris would run away.

Receiving the phone call from Iris Harris’s personal nurse, crying and saying Iris Harris couldn’t be found, Lady Hyde almost dropped her phone: "What?!"

"Miss Harris said she wanted to go for a walk in the garden," The little nurse was scared to death, "I just pushed her there, afterward she said she wanted to use the restroom, so I waited outside. I waited for so long but never saw her co out, when I went in to look for her, the cleaning lady said she had gone out the back as soon as she went in."

Lady Hyde thought of the words Iris Harris said yesterday and felt a chill all over. She shakily made a phone call to Brandan Hyde, asking him to send soone to find her imdiately.
