Ruben covered Emily with a bath towel and carried her out of the bathroom. He gently placed her on the bed and used a dry towel to wipe Emily’s hair which was still dripping with water.

When Ruben arrived at the living room, Stella was already sitting in the living room, watching Ruben walk down the stairs. Her gaze was very unfriendly.
