Luke turned on the car radio and said, "Calling headquarters, this is 511K."

The other side responded, "KJC625 received, what do you need?"

"This is Luke Lee, captain of the Robbery and Murder Departnt first squadron. I'm investigating a supermarket shooting incident. We have tracked the shooter and request assistance."

"Captain Lee, please describe the shooter."

"The shooter is a young white male, likely driving a white Volkswagen Arteon along Savito Avenue. I suspect he might commit another shooting, and the target could be the nearby Carla Supermarket. I will send the suspect's photo shortly."

"Received. I will dispatch nearby patrol officers and SWAT for support. Do you need a police helicopter?"

"No, don't deploy a large police force. I suggest focusing on intercepting with patrol officers. Too much commotion might alert the suspect to flee, and we could lose the target."

"Understood."

"The suspect is likely carrying a firearm, so be careful."

"I will notify the patrolling officers nearby."

"Over."

...

In a car in motion.

A person wearing a skull mask fixed a phone on the dashboard and started a live-stream, "Hey, does anyone still rember ?"

Not many people were in the live stream initially, but the number rapidly increased. Soone started interacting through bullet comnts, "Are you the killer from the Roger's Supermarket shooting?"

The person with the skull mask laughed, "Haha, good morning, folks.

Seeing how much you enjoyed the last live stream, I decided to do another one. It's ti for fun again!

Today will be a morable day, shout with , 'Blacks die!'

"Fuck! It's you, you damn freak. The one who should die is you!" A black man cursed through bullet comnts.

"Bastard, do you dare to take off your mask? I promise I won't beat you to death."

"You won't be arrogant for long; the police will surely catch you."

"Where's LAPD? Whenever we blacks have sothing, their noses are sharper than police dogs'. Why haven't they caught this bastard yet?" The black viewers exploded, cursing the live-stread man.

"Haha... You blacks are getting anxious!" The skull-masked man was increasingly smug, his voice sounding young.

"Woo woo..." Suddenly, police sirens rang ahead, surprising the masked man, "Whoa, there's so traffic now, I'll have to pause for a while, will resu when I get to the scene.

Rember my words, today is a happy day.

Blacks die!"

...

anwhile, Luke's walkie-talkie sounded, "This is 213A, calling 511K."

Luke responded, "511K received."

The walkie-talkie said, "My partner and I are patrolling Savito Avenue, we've spotted a white Volkswagen Arteon with license plate 8leb328. Is it a suspect vehicle? Should we stop it? Please respond."

Luke didn't answer imdiately; the location, color, and model matched, but the plate number didn't. However, thinking the shooter might use a disguised license plate, he felt it necessary to check.

Luke replied, "The car matches the description, but the license plate doesn't. It may not be the suspect vehicle or could be using fake plates.

Advise stopping it; the shooter might have a weapon, be cautious, and stay in contact."

"Received."

The walkie-talkie was silent, and the car was quiet too. Everyone was waiting for the interception result.

A few minutes later, the walkie-talkie sounded again, "This is 213A, calling 511K."

Luke responded, "511K received. What's the situation?"

"We've successfully stopped the white Volkswagen Arteon with the license plate 8leb328. Inside there's a female driver, no weapons found, and it's not a fake plate vehicle."

"Received, it's likely not the suspect vehicle."

"We'll head to the Carla Supermarket for support, over."

Jackson speculated, "Could the shooter have switched cars to head to the Carla Supermarket?"

"Carla Supermarket, Carla Supermarket, everyone knows it's the Carla Supermarket!" Luke muttered, suddenly having a bad feeling.

Gil shouted from the back seat, "Captain, the tech team lost the phone signal! Cannot continue tracking."

"Where did the signal disappear?"

"Near Savito Avenue and John Ding Road, not far from Carla Supermarket.

We estimate we can't keep up with the shooter's car. Should we send patrols to guard near Carla Supermarket?"

Luke lit a cigarette and took a puff, "No need, there should be enough patrols near Carla Supermarket. What I'm worried about now is, he might change his target."

Gil understood, "The shooter's phone suddenly lost signal; might he have realized the police are tracking him? If he doesn't go to Carla Supermarket, where will he go?

Just run away?"

"If he's only fleeing, it's not the worst scenario." Luke took out his phone and started searching the map near Savito Avenue; several black communities were nearby. It was hard to say where the shooter might go.

Jackson speculated, "Shooter Brown Bryant doesn't have a good relationship with his family; could he be going to attack them?"

Luke said, "I've already sent patrols to his ho."

Jackson shrugged and looked at Gil, "Aren't you familiar with the black community? What do you think?"

Gil shook his head, "I know the black community, but that freak is white, and I'm not a freak. Can't understand his thoughts."
