Luke shot and killed a suspect, significantly boosting the morale of the police force.

David shouted again, "Hey, this is what happens when you shoot at the LAPD, the rest of you, surrender imdiately, or you'll end up like him."

"Fuck! You damn LAPD, go to hell."

"Da..." Another burst of gunfire followed.

David yelled into the radio, "Plan one."

Luke said to Little Black and Jenny, "Use the stun grenades."

Stun grenades create a loud noise to shock criminals, temporarily impairing their hearing and sense of direction so they cannot resist.

"Da..." David and others fired from another side to draw fire.

Luke, Jenny, and Little Black pulled out stun grenades, pulled the pins, and threw them towards the suspects.

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

"Bang!"

Three loud explosions made the ground tremble, and three white smoke rings appeared in the sky.

The police began their forceful attack.

Luke, along with Jenny and Marcus, charged forward.

Marcus was in the lead, holding a shotgun, which was well suited for close combat.

"LAPD! Drop your guns."

"Throw your guns aside, lie down on the ground!"

"Raise your hands..."

Two suspects, stunned and disoriented, lacked the strength to resist.

Luke and others quickly subdued them.

The police searched the repair garage again to see if there were any that got away.

David walked up to the suspect who had been shot and killed, looked at the gunshot wounds on the ankle and throat, and looked at Luke with so surprise, "Did you do this?"

If the first shot hitting the criminal could be luck, it couldn't be luck that both shots were precise, first hitting the foot, then the throat, clearly calculated.

Luke responded indifferently, "Is there a problem?"

"You can join the departnt's shooting competition," David praised, having a partner with good shooting skills was a good thing for him.

Luke smiled. The reason he was accurate was because he had just used the 'Accuracy Card,' which could increase his shooting accuracy by 50% for three minutes.

Actually, his second shot was still a bit off, aiming for the suspect's head, but it hit the throat.

Frankly, the Accuracy Card could improve the hit rate by 50%, but it also depended on Luke's own shooting skills.

If the shooter's skills were too poor, using the Accuracy Card would still result in ineffective shooting.

Thinking this, Luke felt he was still okay.

...

Luke and others took the suspects back to the police station for interrogation.

Inside the interrogation room.

A xican man sat in the interrogation chair, about forty years old, with a scar on his face, looking sowhat fierce.

Luke and David walked into the interrogation room.

Luke placed the files on the table, scrutinizing the xican man, whose gender, height, and age all matched the data of the shoe print suspect.

"What's your na?"

"Martin Tracy."

"How much do you weigh?"

Martin Tracy was montarily stunned, as if puzzled by the question, "Is being overweight a cri now?"

"Just answer the question truthfully."

"Probably around eighty kilograms."

"Be more specific."

"I don't know, only won weigh themselves every day, what are you trying to do?"

David also looked perplexed at Luke.

"I was just joking," Luke changed the subject, "Do you admit to extorting a ransom from Maquire Hary with a video?"

"Does it matter if I don't admit it?"

"Answer directly."

"Yes, I admit it."

"Where did the video co from?"

"Found on a rcedes."

"Where is that rcedes?"

"It was the one you found at the repair shop."

"What about the license plate?"

"I don't know, it didn't have a license plate when we found it."

"What about the GPS device on the rcedes?"

"It had already been removed by the ti we saw it."

David interjected, "Don't lie, ordinary people wouldn't even know how to remove it, let alone know where it is. Tell the truth, did you remove the GPS device?"

"I swear, I'm telling the truth. The rcedes didn't have the GPS device when we found it."

"Do you recognize the person in the video?"

"Yeah, Layli Harry, a big shot who likes to give speeches. I saw on the news that she had died. But her brother is rich, and I thought I could make so money from the video.

Didn't expect that jerk to go back on his word and actually call the police."

"Have you ever t Layli Harry?"

"Count television?"

"Where were you on the night of March 30, from 11 PM to 2 AM?"

"Wait, what are you implying? I just wanted to extort so money, I never thought about murder. Layli Harry's death has nothing to do with ."

Luke stood up, placed a surveillance photo on the interrogation chair, "On the night of March 30, the suspect drove this rcedes to kill Layli Harry, and this rcedes was found in your repair shop.

It's not sothing you can simply say 'has nothing to do with' to explain away."

"Hey, I run a repair shop and occasionally buy so old cars, but I've never killed anyone. This car was sold to by soone else, that's all, and I have nothing to do with Layli Harry's death."

"Who sold it to you?"

"Port Misius. He called saying he had found an abandoned luxury car and asked if I wanted it? So I rushed to the location of the abandoned car."

Luke noted the na and continued, "Where were you on the night of March 30, from 11 PM to 2 AM?"

"Co on, not this question again, I told you it has nothing to do with ."

"You don't get to decide what matters. If you want to prove your innocence, explain seriously. The police will verify the facts, got it?"

"That night I was at the repair shop. Mario Karl and Philis nding can vouch for my innocence."

"Who is Philis nding?"

"The unlucky one you beat to death."

...

After the interrogation, everyone split up to follow their leads.

They looked for Port Misius, the first person to find the rcedes.

Luke and David escorted Martin Tracy to the location where the car was found.

The abandoned car was located in a remote area on the outskirts of Los Angeles, next to a dense forest.

Martin Tracy got out of the police car and pointed to the woods not far away, "It was found over there. The car was almost brand new, the GPS was removed, and I thought I had found a great deal.

Who knew Port Misius would screw over."

Luke looked at Martin Tracy and asked, "Tell the truth, did you find any bodies near the rcedes?"

Martin Tracy frowned, "What body?"

"The black man you saw in the video, he was Layli Harry's driver. Since the car was stolen by the killer, it's likely he t with foul play.

The killer might have buried the body near the abandoned car site."

Martin Tracy's expression turned grim, and he shook his head, "No, I found nothing."

Luke had not expected to extract any new clues from him.

The patrol officer was responsible for guarding the suspect, Martin Tracy.

Luke, David Raymond, and Jenny searched the area around where the car was abandoned. The best way to dispose of a body would be to bury it, and freshly dug soil differs in color from old soil, which is still noticeable upon careful observation."

"Hey, I found sothing!" Raymond shouted, crouching down to examine the soil.

Luke and the others walked over to where Raymond was; the soil near his feet was darker and appeared wetter.

Raymond pointed to the different-colored ground, "Soone definitely dug here."

"What are we waiting for?" David turned back to the car to get tools.

The group then started digging.

The soil with the color difference was noticeably softer than the surrounding soil, further confirming Luke's suspicion.

The three took turns digging, and after a few minutes, Luke slled sothing foul.

The deeper they dug, the stronger the sll beca.

David seed to have found sothing, picking up a shovel and saying, "There's sothing underneath."

The group peeled back the top layer of soil, revealing a black plastic sheet. They cut the ropes binding the plastic sheet and uncovered a male body.

The right hand was missing a middle finger, the body had already begun to decay, and it was hard to make out his original appearance as maggots crawled out of his eyes...

However, one thing was certain, he was not the black driver, Badman Pole.

Instead, he was a xican man.
