"How do you plan to handle this?"

"I'm worried I might have a conflict with them. The LAPD identity isn't very useful here; I need an identity to rely on.

Can you help get an identity from the FBI?"

"You want to join the FBI?"

"No, just a temporary identity will do."

"FBI's work is very important, and there are strict requirents for an agent's identity, it's not that easy.

However, I can think of a way to help you."

"Thanks, consider indebted to you." Luke hung up the phone.

Actually, Luke wasn't very worried about his own safety; he carried two handguns with him, enough for self-defense. He was just concerned about his family getting involved.

After dinner, the family of three drove to Luke's grandfather's house.

As soon as they got out of the car, the little chubby boy cheerfully ran inside, shouting, "Happy New Year, Grandpa and Grandma! I'm here to wish you a Happy New Year."

"Good, good, good."

The old couple quickly ca out to greet them, "Happy New Year, here's a red envelope for you."

The little chubby boy happily accepted it, opened it, and found a hundred US Dollar bill inside, smiling even more happily.

Luke also followed suit in wishing them a Happy New Year and received a red envelope too.

Luke was already working, and originally didn't want it, but the elderly insisted.

Since it was the elderly's heartfelt gesture, Luke accepted it.

Not long after, his uncle and aunt also arrived.

The little chubby boy ran again to wish them a Happy New Year, and received another red envelope.

Will didn't co along, Li Zhaonian was smiling, but it seed a bit forced, and he went to the kitchen to busy himself as soon as he entered.

Luke's grandmother also went into the kitchen, exchanged a few words in a low voice with Li Zhaofeng, and ca out looking a bit upset.

Just then, another car stopped outside the yard.

A forty-sothing Asian woman ca down from the car, her features resembled the Li Zhaofeng brothers sowhat, it was Luke's aunt Li Wan.

The little chubby boy showed no signs of unfamiliarity, "Auntie, Happy New Year, I'm here to wish you a Happy New Year."

"Happy New Year." Li Wan responded with a smile, handing the little chubby boy a red envelope.

Behind Li Wan stood a young woman about twenty years old, her daughter Julia Chen.

Luke stepped forward to greet her, "Auntie, Happy New Year."

"Happy New Year.

When did you co back?"

"We arrived on the 19th. Didn't Uncle and Cousin co?"

"Your uncle's law firm has been busy recently, he had a client eting today and said he would invite everyone for a al another day.

Matt is at college out of town, he won't be back this year."

Luke nodded, and said to his cousin next to him, "Julia, you're getting prettier. I wouldn't dare recognize you if I t you out of town."

Julia, tall and thin, with a ponytail, exuded youthful energy, "Luke, I heard you received an award at the White House; was it really personally presented by the Great Commander?"

Luke was about to speak when the little chubby boy popped in, "Look at this." He pulled out his phone and showed a photo of Luke receiving the award, and another of him in the audience, "Actually, I was there too."

The little chubby boy wore an expression that invited questions.

Julia laughed, "Jack, I heard you have a girlfriend now? Is she pretty?"

"Of course, her na is Maggie, she's the prettiest girl at our school, no contest.

I have her photo, do you want to see it?" The little chubby boy looked smug.

The old lady said, "Let have a look, what does my future granddaughter-in-law look like?

Luke, what about your girlfriend?"

Luke laughed, "I'm a non-marriage advocate."

The old lady shrugged, "Your uncle used to say the sa thing in his youth."

"Really? My uncle was this forward-thinking?"

Li Wan laughed, "He was young when he ca to the US, led astray by the locals.

Your grandmother worried for years until he t your aunt."

The old lady said, "I won't fret over the sa issue twice.

Luke, hope you find the right girl soon."

Luke didn't argue; who can say what the future holds, whether it's being a rogue or a prodigal son turning back, it depends on fate.

Luke didn't say how things should be; happiness and satisfaction are what's important.

At noon, a big al was prepared again, and the family gathered for a reunion dinner.

Li Wan asked about Will, adding a touch of gloom to the dining table.

Luke was unaffected, since he didn't eat enough in the morning, he naturally had to eat more at noon, and such authentic ho-cooked als couldn't be found outside.

After the al, Luke took out the gifts he bought in Los Angeles and gave them to the family mbers present, asking them to deliver to those who weren't there too.

As the saying goes, no one complains about receiving too many gifts, Julia obviously ward up to Luke quite a bit upon receiving hers.

After the al, the family sat together and chatted.

After two in the afternoon, Li Zhaofeng took Luke and the little chubby boy to Chinatown for so fun.

Li Zhaonian and his wife also returned to Chinatown, tidied up in the afternoon, preparing to open their shop tomorrow.

The father and sons arrived at Chinatown, parked in a nearby parking lot, and walked into the Chinatown market.

Chinatown had not only Chinese shops, but also foreign ones. Near the entrance was a hat shop, owned by an Indian.

Three hats were only ten dollars.

The father and sons each bought a baseball cap.

The shop also had other small goods, an assortnt of items, reminiscent of a Yiwu branch.

The store in Chinatown had a characteristic, all shops had signs in two languages, English and Chinese, in traditional characters.

The streets had many souvenir shops, with Arican flag-thed items, bags printed with the Statue of Liberty, sunglasses, watches, etc., mostly intended for tourists.
