The African-Arican nurse responded with a question, "Why weren't you blown up?"

If you were blown up, I wouldn't have to co here." The African-Arican nurse stared at the reagent in the infusion bottle, "But now the result is the sa."

Davo Gali pleaded, "Don't kill , I'm begging you."

The African-Arican nurse flicked the infusion bottle with her fingers, as if hoping the liquid would flow faster, "Give a reason."

"I've done so much for you all, providing the museum's floor plan, the transport route of the oil paintings. Without , you couldn't have ambushed the road in advance, let alone smoothly steal the oil paintings.

We're partners.

I won't say anything, not even for myself." Davo Gali showed a pleading expression, starting to play the sympathy card.

The African-Arican nurse asked, "So, you're the mole."

Davo Gali's eyes widened in sudden realization, "Who exactly are you?"

"You guess."

"You are... from the Robbery and Murder Departnt?"

...

"Ah-choo..."

In a black Ford Explorer, Luke sneezed.

"Who's thinking of ?" Luke sneezed twice in succession, Daisy? Or Orty?

Jackson, who was driving, asked, "Captain, is Davo Gali really the mole?"

"Very likely."

"But right now, we've only found that he served as a security consultant at the museum, unable to prove that he's involved in the oil painting robbery case.

Even if we find him, he won't admit it." Jackson sighed; it's not easy to apply for a search warrant against a detective without sufficient evidence.

"This is indeed a problem. Davo Gali is an experienced detective, knows how to destroy evidence and extricate himself from the case." Luke was worried that after the oil painting robbery, Davo Gali, being one of the investigators, had too many options. Even if the Southern District found clues in the case, the other party might destroy them.

In Luke's view, so of the clues might even be provided by Davo Gali, with the Southern District officers being led by the nose by that gang of robbers the entire ti.

anwhile, that gang of robbers was ruthless enough; upon learning that the Robbery and Murder Departnt and FBI were intervening in the investigation, worried that it might trace back to Davo Gali, they decided to kill him to silence him.

Unfortunately, Davo Gali was lucky enough to survive.

The car entered the hospital, and Luke and Jackson headed straight for the fourth floor, where Davo Gali resided in room 408.

As Luke and Jackson got off the fourth-floor elevator, they saw two FBI agents standing at the elevator entrance.

Luke showed his badge, "I want to see Davo Gali."

"Sorry, Davo Gali is still recovering and can't et outsiders for now." A white agent politely declined.

Luke compromised, "I want to see Anthony.

Don't say he's not in the hospital, and don't make excuses to brush off, understand?"

"Hehe..." A laughter ca from the corridor, and Anthony walked over, "Luke, don't be so uptight.

Soone who doesn't know might think you're on your period."

Luke got straight to the point, "Why did you go to the explosion site villa to find Davo Gali today?"

Anthony countered, "Does discussing this now have any significance?"

"I don't like being deceived. I thought we were friends."

"Of course, we are friends, but business is business and private is private.

We belong to different departnts and investigate different cases. At the ti, I only suspected Davo Gali had issues and didn't have evidence, so I couldn't say outright.

If I'm wrong, it's a serious accusation against a detective's innocence.

No one can bear that responsibility, so I had to choose to keep it quiet."

"Do you have evidence now?"

"Yes, that guy's sedative wore off, and his mind isn't fully clear. I used a small trick to get the truth out."

"He figured it out?"

"He's a detective, just caught unaware, can't hide for long." Anthony knew very well that experienced detectives like Davo Gali have high alertness, making the chances of success not very high if the other party was ntally clear.

He chose to make his move when Davo Gali was weak; even so, it was only a montary slip.

Just saying so suggestive words was enough for the other party to see through.

"Did you get the evidence?"

"No."

"He's already alert, and you don't have evidence.

He could easily say he just had surgery and isn't ntally clear."

Anthony shrugged, "He's already admitted it verbally."

"He could still change his confession."

"You're right to be worried, but only for yourselves.

We're the FBI!" Anthony patted Luke's shoulder, "Co on, have so faith in ; I'll show you a good show."

...

Inside room 408.

Davo Gali still lay on the bed, looking at his hands cuffed to the bed; the silver handcuffs couldn't be more familiar, yet it was the first ti they were on his hands.

"Creak..." The door to the ward opened.

Several people walked into the ward, led by FBI Agent Anthony.

Luke also followed into the ward, looking at Davo Gali lying on the bed, feeling sowhat conflicted.

A detective investigating the oil painting robbery case beca a suspect in the case—this sort of thing only happened on TV, and it was Luke's first ti encountering it.

Anthony crossed his arms and leaned back on the rear table, "No need for introductions, right?"

Davo Gali glanced at Anthony and then Luke, "The ruthless Detective Anthony, and the famous Captain Li, recognizing the two of you is hard to avoid."
