After that, they also asked to describe the transportation route and how the painting was snatched."

Luke said, "Repeat the clues you told them again."

"OK." Dolly White, worried that those two fake detectives might harm her, cooperated and carefully described the process of the painting being stolen.

Luke listened intently. As a party involved in the case, Dolly White's description was much more detailed than that of Detective Chief Davo Gali. Luke took notes of many details about the painting being snatched.

For example, all four robbers wore the sa human-skin nun masks, all four wore gloves, and the robber giving orders was a man.

The robbers escaped in a black Ford van, and the license plate was covered by a black item. The robber's vehicle turned right into Lanka Street from Fuer Street.

Dolly White's description gave Luke a more thorough understanding of the situation at the scene.

At the sa ti, from Dolly White's description, you could feel that this gang of robbers was indeed very professional, bold yet ticulous, leaving almost no valuable clues.

After leaving Dolly White's ho, Luke did not return to the police station but went to the scene of the incident on Fuer Street for a field inspection. Seeing is believing, no matter how well others describe it, it's not as morable as seeing it yourself.

When Luke arrived at Fuer Street, it was already completely dark, with significantly fewer people on the street. Luke checked around the site according to Dolly White's description. Since the police line had been removed, finding new clues near the cri scene was difficult, and even if found, they might have been damaged and would be hard to use as evidence in the case.

Luke turned right into the side street from Fuer Street, according to Dolly White's description, the robbers should have escaped driving the Ford van from here.

He scanned the surroundings and saw a cara installed above the street, which likely captured the suspect's vehicle from its angle.

...

The next morning.

Robbery and Murder Departnt, Squad One office.

Luke yawned, holding a cup of coffee as he walked out from the captain's office. He was busy last night inspecting the cri scene of the painting robbery, returning ho at ten o'clock. Thankfully, he gained so findings, so it wasn't all for nothing.

Luke went to the whiteboard and wrote Dolly White's na, listing a tree diagram under it, including the suspicious person known as Detective Jada Landis.

The team mbers of Squad One gathered around tacitly, looking at the tree diagram on the whiteboard.

The deputy squad leader asked, "This is the unlucky guy transporting the painting?"

Port laughed, "The unlucky guy you're talking about is a standard brawny man, having served in the army, with biceps bigger than mine."

"Big-chested with no brains applies to n too when facing real danger; you still rely on this." The deputy squad leader pointed to his head.

Luke interrupted their conversation, recounting the entire process of the painting robbery in detail and ntioning two suspicious individuals posing as detectives.

Jenny asked, "Who are those two people posing as detectives from the Robbery and Murder Departnt? Could they be the suspects of the painting robbery?"

Luke replied, "From the conversation between the two fake detectives and Dolly White, these two should not be suspects of the painting robbery. Their questions align with the police investigative approach.

I sense they are more interested in the stolen painting.

Unfortunately, aside from the appearance of the two fake detectives, Dolly White cannot provide more valuable clues, and she didn't see the car they were driving."

The deputy squad leader said, "We must find those two bastards and can't let them commit misdeeds under the Robbery and Murder Departnt's na, otherwise, we'll be blad in the end."

Port agreed deeply with this statent, today when he went to Dolly White's house with Luke, they almost had a blunder.

Today, the appearance of two patrol officers seed just a routine check, yet almost a narrow escape, since both sides were ard, under high tension, gunfire could easily break out, luckily both sides were restrained, and Luke didn't trouble the two patrol officers.

Luke walked to the projector and played a video, "This is surveillance footage we found around the painting robbery scene."

As he spoke, the video showed a black Ford van, its license plate covered with a black object, making it unreadable, matching Dolly White's description of the transporting personnel.

Luke looped the video and zood in on the windshield area, as they dimly saw due to the streetlight, two people sitting in the driver's and passenger's seats, in black nun robes like old won.

Luke pressed the pause button, "This should be the suspect vehicle, the suspects are all wearing black nun robes and human-skin masks of elderly nuns, the four of them are in uniform, and because the nun robes are quite loose, the transporting personnel couldn't determine their features even after contact."

The deputy squad leader said, "Where there's contact, there must be traces.

This group acts uniformly, plans ticulously, organizes closely, and has rich experience; they surely have criminal records.

I think we should investigate old cases and previous offenders, maybe we can find clues about the robbers."

Luke nodded, "Good idea, deputy squad, it's in your hands."

The deputy squad leader gave an OK gesture.

Port said, "Since we've found the suspect vehicle, I think we should continue tracking this car, maybe we can find their hideout."
