Davo Gali introduced, "Captain Li, this is Timo Jensen, the partner of the injured officer." Then he instructed Timo Jensen, "This is Captain Li from the Robbery and Murder Departnt. The case of Jens Hauley being shot has been handed over to him. Please cooperate with his investigation."

Luke nodded and pointed to the red Honda, "Is this the car the suspect was driving?"

"Yes."
"Did the cars collide?"
"Yes."
"Jens Hauley crashed the police car into the left rear side of the red Honda, causing the other car to beco unstable, which forced them to stop."
"After the red Honda stopped, the driver ran away. Did you chase him?"
"Yes, in such a situation, only catching the driver can lead to a conviction."
"What charges does the driver face?"
"Speeding and running red lights."
"Did you catch the driver?"
"No."
"Did the driver have any weapons?"
"I don't know, but he didn't shoot at ."
"After the driver fled, did anyone else get out of the red Honda?"
"No."
"Are you sure there was soone else in the car?"
"Yes."
"How many people?"
"At least one person."
"So, you are not certain how many people were in the car at the ti?"

"Did Jens Hauley use his service weapon to fight back?"
"No. When I saw him, his hand was on the gun grip, but he didn't take the gun out of the holster."
Luke marked with his pen several key points, handcuffs, back, next to the red Honda...
According to Luke's experience, after Timo Jensen pursued the driver, Jens Hauley might have been conducting a routine search of the passengers in the car, asking them to lean on the car, handcuffing and frisking the passengers, and was attacked from behind at that mont, sustaining severe injuries, which is also why he couldn't fight back.

Timo Jensen raised his head, "I don't understand what you an?"
Luke rephrased his question, "Do you think Jens Hauley's death is related to the people in the red Honda?"
Timo Jensen said, "Although emotionally I have so resentnt towards them... considering the scene, Jens was attacked from behind, it shouldn't be related to the people in the car."
Luke said, "That's not necessarily the case.
How do you know the driver's stoppage there was coincidental?
How do you know they didn't have other accomplices?
Suppose, as Jens Hauley was apprehending the suspect in the car, an accomplice who happened to arrive at the scene, saw it, and in desperation fired the shots. Do you think that's possible?"
