Luke extended his hand, "Pleasure to work with you."

...

After leaving the police station, Luke prepared to go for so late-night snacks.

He had been busy with a case all day and had only had a simple hamburger for lunch, so he was quite hungry.

It was already December, and the streets were beginning to feel the festive atmosphere of Christmas.

In the past, Luke rarely celebrated Christmas except to show his girlfriend a bit of affection which, most of the ti, ant presenting a gift because young won love romance. The deliberate promotion by businesses made many girls fond of celebrating foreign festivals. If others were giving gifts and you weren't, it ant you weren't showing enough care.

This year was different. Luke was in Los Angeles, where the holiday atmosphere and its significance were different.

Luke chose a barbecue restaurant, ordered so skewers and a beer, and watched TV while eating his late-night al.

The restaurant had two TVs, one broadcasting a football match and the other showing news.

There were quite a few football fans among the custors. Luke watched for a while too. He didn't know many football stars and wasn't particularly interested. The ga was scoreless too, which didn't hold his interest.

The news on the other TV, on the other hand, caught his attention.

"Good evening, this is Mary with BSE News. I am about to report the latest developnts in the case of the strong-ard robbery by football superstar Danny Carter.

After several days of investigation, the police have acquired so new leads, as the female victim's statent does not match so of the evidence.

The police have withdrawn charges against Danny Carter due to insufficient evidence.

Danny Carter was released without charge."

Luke smiled, "Finally, so good news. Now that Danny Carter has had the charges dropped, his commission is in the bag too."

...

The next morning at nine o'clock.

Robbery and Murder Departnt office.

The door to the captain's office opened and Luke walked in with a cup of coffee, "Guys, hold on, it's ti for the morning eting.

Jenny, any news from the FBI?"

"No."

"It seems their efficiency is not as fast as imagined," Luke said, taking a sip of coffee, then turned to Marcus and asked, "How is Pari Jones?"

Little Black sighed, "Those bastards are ruthless. Pari Jones's condition isn't good; she has been taken to the hospital for treatnt.

On the way to the hospital, I took her statent.

According to her, Natasha and she were always investigating human-trafficking organizations, which are very extre. Human-trafficking is only on the surface, and they engage in various cris in secret.

There are two larger trafficking organizations, one nad Bosta and the other nad Gonsede.

Recently, Pari Jones had been collecting information on the Bosta organization.

anwhile, Natasha was investigating the Gonsede organization, and the two would sotis exchange information."

Luke was familiar with the nas of these two organizations. Among them, the material found at Pari Jones's place was about the 'Bosta' organization.

As for Gonsede, the information was provided by Carlos Sodi the night before. According to Carlos Sodi, Natasha was likely killed by the Gonsede organization.

Luke continued to inquire, "Any news about the delivery man and the gang who intercepted the police car?"

Jackson said, "We haven't found their whereabouts yet.

However, we re-confird the identity of the delivery man; he truly is an employee of UPS.

Why he delivered a bomb is still unclear."

Luke fell silent for a mont and then analyzed, "Looking at the current situation, it's likely that two organizations are involved in this incident.

One is Bosta.

And the other is Gonsede.

The Gonsede organization used the delivery man to plant the bomb that killed Natasha, which then triggered a series of chain reactions.

After Natasha's death, the Gonsede organization sent people to rob her ho and take away the materials about the organization.

Later, when the police found the trail of the delivery man, Gonsede again sent people to intercept the police car, resulting in a shootout.

As for Carlos Sodi, he should be a mber of the Bosta organization. He had been lurking around Natasha, and worried that things might escalate after her death, he sent Kuka to kidnap Pari Jones and destroy the investigative materials about the Bosta organization she had with her.

Pari Jones arranged to et before being kidnapped.

Out of self-preservation, she told the suspects that I had the materials, which led to exchanging gunfire with two suspects and capturing two Bosta organization mbers.

Later, by lying in wait, we captured Kuka, thereby uncovering the true identity of Carlos Sodi."

Luke straightened out the case clues, and the truth behind Natasha's murder also erged.
