Standing at the door was a black man in his twenties, with thick lips and headphones around his neck, under 180 cm tall, broad-shouldered, and muscular.
"Hello Mr. Ellis," he said.
"Mr. Carter, let introduce you to..."
Danny Carter interrupted Daisy, "No need for introductions.
I know Captain Luke Lee, I've seen his news; he's a real tough guy."
"I've seen your gas too, the fastest player on the field."
Daisy smiled, "Gentlen, can we save the complints for inside the room?"
Danny Carter stepped aside, "Please, co in.
Sorry, the room's a bit ssy, I don't want anyone in there cleaning right now."
Daisy said, "You're right, the fewer people you interact with now, the better."
"I know, I'm being cautious and careful," Danny Carter sighed and sat heavily on the sofa. "I regret it so much. I shouldn't have gone ho with her that day.
Officer Luke, may I call you that?"
"Just Luke is fine." Luke was now helping him as a detective.
Recently, Orty had sorted out a detective license for him. With the endorsent of Pinkerton Detective Agency, Luke hardly needed to be concerned about it.
"Sa here, just call Danny.
Luke, I know you've handled many big cases. Is mine just a minor case for you?"
"Danny, before I formally take on your case, I'd like to have a chat with you first."
Danny Carter shrugged, "OK, what about?"
"I heard from Mr. Ellis that you're being accused of involvent in a vigorous assault case?"
"Yes."
"Who has accused you of assault?"
"Billie Warwick."
"When did you have any contact with her?"
"The evening of November 18."
"Did you know her beforehand?"
"No."
"On the evening of November 18, did you two get intimate?"
"Yes."
"Did you force her?"
"Absolutely not.
She said she was a fan, liked a lot, and was very enthusiastic.
She invited to her place for coffee, and one thing led to another, naturally."
"Then why did she report it to the police?"

Luke was observing him closely and saw no signs of lying on his face.

But it wasn't the sa batch of police, the new officers asked for my na and told Billie Warwick had filed a report, claiming that I had assaulted her the previous night.
I tried to explain, but they wouldn't listen, they just arrested straight away.
I swear to God, what I'm telling you is the truth, I didn't force anyone, Billie Warwick was totally willing."
Luke inquired, "When did Billie Warwick file the report?"
"The morning of November 19."
"Was your car found?"
"No. That's another reason I'm upset; my car was stolen, and the police did nothing.
