...

9:58 PM.

Los Angeles suburb.

Inside a black SUV.

Luke sat in the driver's seat, his gaze sweeping outside through the glass.

Luke asked into the receiver inside his collar, "Why hasn't the person for the deal arrived yet?"

Over the earpiece ca Marcus's voice, "Don't rush, Matthew arranged it for ten o'clock.

The other party will be driving a black SUV too, and the contact will have a toothpick in his mouth.

Be careful when you make contact, we will support you nearby."

"Understood," Luke sighed, "Marcus, you have to promise , next ti, don't involve in this sort of thing.

I'm a detective chief now, not just a plain detective anymore."

"OK, Detective Chief Marcus," Marcus said dismissively, trying to end the conversation.

Luke added, "Hey, I see a black SUV coming, it just parked across the street."

In the distance, Marcus in a van grabbed binoculars to look out, and instructed, "Go check it out, but be careful."

"Don't worry, I am the alert and bold Detective Chief Marcus." Luke took a deep breath, put a toothpick in his mouth, and got out of the car.

A Caucasian man also got out of the SUV across the street, wearing black-frad glasses and a trench coat, looking rather thin, with a toothpick in his mouth too.

Luke walked over with a bouncy stride, "Hey, you're late."

The man with the black-frad glasses glanced at his watch, "It's exactly ten o'clock, your watch must be wrong."

"OK, did you bring the goods?"

The man with the black-frad glasses countered, "What goods are you looking for?"

"Are you kidding ?" Luke was sowhat dissatisfied.

"No, I just need to make sure, you know, our line of work is very risky."

"Just like we discussed online, I'm looking to get a young girl to play poker, did you bring her?"

"Sure, did you bring the money? One thousand US dollars."

Luke pulled out a stack of bills from his pocket, "Can you make it cheaper? The usual rate is just two to three hundred US dollars."

"Damn it, don't bargain with , those street hookers can't compare to my goods, we are taking huge risks, I wouldn't be dealing if I didn't need the money."

Luke pulled out ten green bills, "The money is here, I want to see the goods."

The man with the black-frad glasses asked with a smile, "So you really like girls?"

"Yes, otherwise, I wouldn't have co here," Luke shook his head dismissively, his deanor careless.

The smile on the man with the black-frad glasses faded, and he said coldly, "You really are asking for a beating!"

"Are you sick? I co to take care of business, and you dare to talk like this…" Before Luke could finish, the man with the black-frad glasses pulled a handgun from his pocket,

"Freak, put your hands up."

"Heh, why like this? I'm giving you money...

I don't want the goods anymore, just take the money." Luke quickly raised his hands.

"That's not for you to decide." The man with the black-frad glasses moved behind Luke, pushed him against the car,

"Freak, you are under arrest."

"Click…"

The door of the black SUV opened, and two n wearing FBI bulletproof vests got out.

One of them, a muscular black man, joked, "Hey, weren't you going to check the goods? We ca out ourselves, how about that? Didn't disappoint you, did we?"

Seeing the situation, Luke quickly changed his tune, "Hey guys, you've got it wrong, I'm not a freak…"

"Shut up, there's no one more disgusting than your kind," the man with the black-frad glasses said as he clamped the handcuffs on Luke's wrists.

In the van nearby, Jackson took off his headset and cursed, "Fuck, a bunch of fools full of shit."

Inside the driver's seat, Jackson asked with concern, "Captain, what's wrong?"

"Flash the lights and sound the horn!"

"Everyone get ready to move!"
