Luke stared at Tayana Haney, confirming she was the sa person from the video, "Are you Tayana Haney?"
"Yes, who are you?"
"I'm Captain Luke Lee of the Robbery and Murder Departnt. We'd like to learn about your disappearance in June."
Tayana Haney said, "That's all in the past, isn't it? What's there to learn about now."
"Just a few questions, don't be nervous."
Just then, Mrs. Haney seed to hear sothing and ran hurriedly downstairs, "Tayana, is that you?
My daughter, you finally ca back."
Mrs. Haney embraced her daughter, "Are you alright?"
"I'm fine." Tayana Haney responded calmly.
Luke said, "Tayana Haney, may I ask you a few questions?"
"I wasn't kidnapped. I just went out to clear my mind. Sir, you can leave now."
"Who did you go out with to clear your mind?"
"Mr. Toure."
"Where did you both go?"
"We drove out camping."
"Did you go to the Zaparo Motel?"
"We did."
"What did you do there?"
After thinking, Tayana Haney said, "The camper only had one bed, so Mr. Toure rented a room to let stay at the motel while he stayed in the camper.
But then he had an ergency and couldn't take out anymore, so he took ho."
"Where is he now?"
"I don't know, he got a taxi and we parted ways midway."
"Did you take a shower at the motel?"
"I did."
"Did he take a shower?"
"He did."
"After taking the shower, what did you do?"
"We watched TV."
"Did he take off your clothes?"
"No."
"Did he force you to do sothing you didn't want to?"
"No." Tayana Haney's eyes reddened a bit, "I'm a bit tired. I want to go to sleep."
"Tayana, can you talk about what happened during your disappearance?"
"There's nothing to talk about. I just ran away from ho and ca back when I was out of money."
"Why did you run away from ho?"
"I was feeling down."
"I heard it was Franco Ture who brought you back?"
"Yes."
"During your disappearance, was he with you the whole ti?"
Tayana Haney responded, "No. After I ran out of money, I called him for help, and he picked up."
Luke strongly felt that Tayana Haney's answers were rehearsed.
Clent Haney patted his daughter on the shoulder, "Captain Lee, my daughter has already made it clear. It's not like what you think."
"What about the video?" Luke looked at the Haney couple, "Don't you, as her parents, want to know why your daughter would be in such a video?"
Upon hearing Luke's words, the faces of Mr. and Mrs. Haney changed.
Luke knew Tayana Haney was lying and needed solid evidence to expose her lies, "Tayana Haney, were you assaulted by any stranger during your disappearance?"
"No."
"Don't be afraid, just speak up, LAPD will protect you."
Tayana Haney shook her head, "No."
Showing a young girl a video of herself being bullied was indeed cruel, but if Luke didn't open up this wound, Tayana Haney's nightmare would continue.
Luke brought out a tablet and played a video of Tayana Haney playing poker with a stranger.
"Woo..." Seeing the video, Tayana Haney sat down on the floor and cried helplessly.
Mrs. Haney also embraced her daughter, "Tayana, don't be afraid, Mom will protect you."
Clent Haney also ca over, hugging his wife and daughter, "Baby, don't be scared. What exactly happened?
