"The repaynt deadline hasn't been reached yet, I don't think Kyle was killed by them."

"I don't want your feelings, I need the na of the gang."

"Curly Gang."

Luke jotted it down in his notebook, then questioned whether the Curly Gang could have killed the undercover FBI agent at the school and orchestrated the shooting."

"I'm not sure, but I feel it's unlikely.

What I can assure you is that the death of the FBI agent is not related to the Skull Gang."

"Can I trust your words?"

"Of course. I'm from a local gang, I wouldn't ss around. I respect the FBI, and I respect the LAPD even more." Pike's tone was very sincere."

"Anything else to add?"

"Not for now."

"Then let's end it here for now. If you rember any other clues, you can co find ."

"Hey." Pike leaned forward, "Don't hand over to the FBI, consider it a favor you owe ."

"As long as you haven't lied, the police won't hand you over to the FBI, but they will want to talk to you."

"OK, as long as I can stay in the police station, that's fine." The marshal took Pike away.

Luke didn't leave but continued with Theodore's interrogation.

As Pike was being escorted out, Theodore was already waiting outside the interrogation room, and the two exchanged glances, making Theodore shiver in fear.

Theodore was still panicking while handcuffed to the interrogation chair.

Luke asked indifferently, "Do you know him?"

Theodore seed stunned, not knowing how to answer.

"Pike has talked quite a bit about you. The reason you refuse to talk about your whereabouts on the afternoon of May 10 is because you t with Pike, shall I go on?"

Theodore was so scared that he started to sweat and wiped the sweat off his forehead with his arm, "Why was Boss Pike arrested?"

Luke said, "Because of the shooting incident at Maraboya High School."

"Is his charge serious? Will he go to prison?"

"It depends on whether he cooperates with the police." Luke implied sothing.

Pike, Holip, and Theodore were like a triangle.

Once Pike was out of the picture, the relationship between Holip and Theodore would beco unstable as well.

"Pike has already made your relationship very clear, so, do you want to confess or continue to resist?" Seeing that Theodore didn't answer, Luke continued,

"If you refuse to talk, then we'll go to Holip. The chance to turn state's witness is only left once, and he probably wants it more than you do."

"I'll talk, I'll tell everything." Theodore made up his mind and let out a long breath, "The person wasn't killed by , it was Holip."

"Do you have any evidence?"

"That revolver has always been used by Holip. He'd wanted a gun for a long ti, but he wasn't of legal age to buy one, so he had get one for him.

I bought the gun from Triss's brother and gave it to Holip to use, he always kept it in his bag."

"Investigations are based on evidence, not just whatever you say."

"After the shooting, he contacted with soone else's phone, asking to take the bla for him. He said we would share the good and the bad, and we'd always be brothers.

In his words, since I wasn't of age yet, the sentence for involuntary manslaughter wouldn't be long. By the ti I got out, he'd be a football star and would give a lot of money.

In the future, we'd have endless money and won... I believed him."

"Where's the recording?"

"In Triss's hands.

My mom died, and besides her, I had no one else I could trust."

"We will go to Triss for confirmation, and I hope you're not lying this ti."

"I won't be," Theodore sighed with relief, "Actually, I've been hesitating about whether or not to take the bla for Holip.

Once I admit to the charges, I will surely go to jail.

Not losing Triss might be a good thing for .

In a way, I should thank you guys."

After the statent was taken, Luke and the others did not stop but went straight to Holip's house.

Raymond and Jenny went to see Triss.

Holip's house was not far from Theodore's, also in a poor community.

At that ti, Holip was in the yard, teaching his younger brothers and sisters how to play football, as his arm had not fully recovered and he couldn't engage in vigorous sports.

Several cars stopped at the door, and Holip ceased his movents.

Luke and the others got out of the cars.

Holip was stunned.

Luke looked at Holip, then at the four kids by his side, "Holip, can we talk?"

"What happened?"

Luke told the truth, "Pike and Theodore have already confessed."

Holip pursed his lips, a regretful expression on his face, "Can I say goodbye to my brothers and sisters?"

"Of course."

Holip squatted down and said his farewells to the four siblings one by one, hugged them tightly, and then got into the police car.

"Officer Luke, how did you find ?"

"The shooting incident made a huge impact, things are more complicated than you think, and they couldn't be kept under wraps."

"This damn shooting incident, if it hadn't happened, Lev wouldn't have died, I wouldn't have been affected, and none of this would've happened."

"What exactly happened that day? Why did you want to kill Lev?"

"I never intended to kill Lev, we just wanted to be heroes, to protect our classmates, to stop the gunman from continuing his rampage.

I took out the revolver and shot at the gunman, but my marksmanship was terrible, I couldn't hit him at all.

Lev was confident in his speed and wanted to flank the gunman to attack from behind, but then… he was hit by accidentally.

None of this should have happened."

Luke sighed, "Holip, if it was an accident, why didn't you tell the police? If you had told the truth then, the charges wouldn't have been that severe."

"I know, but I couldn't afford to go to jail, not even for one day." Holip ran his hands through his hair with force, "You must have seen the state of my ho. I am the hope for my entire family, no, for the entire clan and all my friends and relatives.

If I admitted to a murder, even manslaughter, I wouldn't be able to continue playing football.

My family needs money, they need to beco a football star to change the plight of the whole clan."

Little Black said, "Buddy, I can understand you, but your deceitful actions still disappoint ."

"Sorry, I didn't an to deceive you guys. Besides what I just said, everything else is true."

Luke said, "So you're saying the two gunn in the music building were shooting at each other, not accomplices. Then why didn't the student council mber Herman Vied expose you?"

Holip said disdainfully, "He's just a coward who hid away and knew nothing.

If it weren't for trying to save him, none of this would have happened."
