A Spanish-style restaurant built on the coast, divided into indoor and outdoor sections.
Luke and Lilith sat at an outdoor table chatting, right next to the vast sea. The sea breeze brushed their faces, and they could faintly hear the waves lapping against the shore, which was quite soothing.
Lilith raised her glass of red wine, "Cheers."
"Cheers!" Luke also raised his glass, took a sip, and savored the taste of the red wine.
Since coming to Los Angeles, Luke had adapted to local customs and gradually got used to drinking wine.
Lilith asked, "When do you think Detective Chief Yarro will catch the thief?"
Luke gazed at the horizon, "This case isn't very difficult, and the thod of the cri isn't sophisticated.
Previously, Detective Chief Yarro had made no progress in the investigation simply because the suspect's motive was misunderstood as wanting to steal the entire enal gourd vase.
Now that Detective Chief Yarro has determined a new direction for the investigation, the progress should be swift.
I guess there might be results by tomorrow."
Lilith rubbed her temples, "Hearing you say that, I feel relieved."
Luke picked up an olive and took a bite, "Is this club managed by you, handed down from your grandfather?"
"Yes." Lilith smiled, "I have you to thank for that.
I gave a part of the treasure we found on the naless island to my grandfather and told him about our treasure hunting journey. He was very happy hearing it, asking about the process and details like a child.
I hadn't seen him that happy in a long ti.
Grandfather also told that both business and treasure hunting need to be rich in exploratory spirit.
I told him that as his granddaughter and a mber of the Finn family, I never lack exploratory spirit, and this treasure hunt was the best proof of that.
I made the old man so happy that he handed over running this club to ."
Luke asked, a bit envious, "What does 'handed over to you' an? Did he give it to you?"

Lilith laughed, "Ever since the auction was robbed last night, I haven't rested well. Now I can finally relax and get a good night's sleep.
I'm too drained to join you in any antics tonight."
"What about tomorrow night then?"
Lilith blinked her big eyes, "Depends on my mood."
Luke teased, "There's a saying in China that says 'The rabbit dies, the dog is cooked'. I understand it now."
"Co on, I'm not like that at all. Let's discuss your compensation instead."
Luke raised his glass, clinking it with hers, "The thief hasn't been caught yet; isn't it a bit early to talk about this?"
Lilith took a sip of her wine, "With Captain Luke on the case, how could any suspect not be caught, especially a small-ti thief?
I have faith in you."
Just then, a waitress ca over, nodded, and said, "Miss Finn, Mr. Lee, your dinner is ready."
"Please serve it."
"Sure." A mont later, several waiters ca over with trays and set exquisite dishes on the table.
Spanish paella, Iberico ham, Galician octopus, oxtail stew, Spanish fish soup, Spanish roasted pork kidney, Asturian stew, and more.
"Please take your ti and enjoy."
After the waiters served the dishes, they gradually left the restaurant, leaving the open-air dining area with just the two of them once more.
Luke asked, "Did you book the entire place today?"
"Yes, and no more talk about cooking rabbits; I do value you a lot." Lilith raised her glass, clinked it with Luke's, and said with a smile, "See how the dishes taste? It's my first ti trying them too."
Luke started with a piece of roasted pork kidney, which is best eaten hot. It tasted crispy and tender, with a light wine aroma, "It's pretty good."
Lilith tasted a mussel and nodded slightly, "Not bad."
Luke tried a piece of ham. The at was soft with a slight chew, lting in the mouth; it was salty and sweet, with a rich flavor that paired well with the wine.
After sampling a few dishes, Lilith put down her fork and took a sip of red wine, "What do you think of these dishes?"
Luke nodded, "Except for the octopus, which was average, everything else was quite good. Overall, the flavors were nice."
"Since Captain Lee says so, we'll keep them." Lilith smiled, "Let's talk about your reward now. Feel free to ask for anything."
"I ca because of you, so the money doesn't matter." Luke gave a look that said 'it's up to you'.
Lilith leaned forward, her voice playful, "How about no reward at all?"
