Mrs. Redman asked eagerly, "Captain Li, have you found any clues about my daughter?"

"Yes, we've found the exact location where your daughter was kidnapped.

Your daughter wasn't kidnapped on the evening of March 11th, but on the afternoon of March 12th in the underground parking lot of the Teslor Gym Club."

Mrs. Redman asked confusedly, "Then where did she go on the night of the 11th?"

Luke asked back, "Did you know that Isa Redman has a new boyfriend?"

"No."

"On the night of March 11th, she went to her new boyfriend's house, which was in the sa community as the party location."

"Why didn't she tell us?"

"Only she might know that," Luke shifted the subject, saying, "Mrs. Redman, do you have a red Lexus car?"

"Yes, I bought a red Lexus."

"Where is that car now?"

"Uh... probably in the garage.

No, I haven't seen it for a long ti." Mrs. Redman looked at her husband, "Dear, have you driven that car?"

Mr. Redman said confidently, "No, I never drive that car."

Mrs. Redman said, "Then it must have been driven away by my daughter, is there a problem?"

"We suspect that after Isa Redman was kidnapped, the kidnappers drove away her red Lexus. Didn't you notice the car went missing together with her?"

"Oh my God, I didn't even notice... I'm so careless!" Mrs. Redman put her hand over her forehead, showing a regretful expression.

Mr. Redman hugged his wife's shoulders, comforting, "Dear, you can't be blad; I didn't notice either." He lifted his head and said to Luke, "Captain Li, on the night of March 11th, I contacted my daughter and knew she took a friend's car to the party, so I overlooked the issue of the car."

Luke asked, "How many cars do you have in your family?"

Mr. Redman thought for a mont, "Probably a dozen or so."

Mrs. Redman said, "You alone have a dozen cars, and if we include mine, it should be over twenty."

Luke suddenly understood.

It seems having too many cars is not necessarily a good thing.

But Luke couldn't understand why a family of three would buy so many cars.

"Mr. Redman, does the red Lexus have a tracking device? We need to find that car."

Redman shook his head, "I don't drive that car; it was bought for my wife." He glanced at his wife again, "Dear, does your car have a tracking device?"

Mrs. Redman looked confused, "I don't understand those things, and I haven't driven that car for a long ti."

Luke made another attempt, "Is the police tech team still at your house?"

"Yes, they've been here all along."

Luke said, "You can ask the tech team to assist in contacting the Lexus manufacturer to see if the car's location can be tracked."

Mrs. Redman asked, "Will finding that car help us find my daughter's whereabouts?"

Luke spoke honestly, "I hope so too, but the chances aren't high.

It's been 48 hours since Isa Redman was kidnapped; the kidnappers are unlikely to make such a rookie mistake.

Nevertheless, since they drove the car, they may have left so clues."

Mr. Redman said, "Okay, I'll contact the car manufacturer soon."

Luke hesitated for a mont and asked tentatively, "Mr. Redman, I heard it was you who suggested I get involved in the case investigation."

"Yes, Captain Li, we saw news about you and know you're the best detective in Los Angeles. If anyone can rescue our daughter, it has to be you."

"Thank you for trusting .

Additionally, I'd like to know, besides you wanting to investigate the kidnapping case, who else have you told? Or who else knows?"

"Director Reid, my wife and I, and also Gary Sane."

"The real estate mogul Gary Sane?"

"Yes, his son was also kidnapped on the night of March 10. The two of us fathers share the sa predicant."

Luke seed surprised, "How did you get in contact?"

"We know each other already, with so business dealings.

Despite having money, it's not easy to quickly exchange a large amount of gold.

I knew Gary Sane had channels to purchase gold and hoped to exchange so gold through him.

His son was also kidnapped, with a ten million ransom demanded by the kidnappers. I could provide him with so cash.

This suits both sides." Mr. Redman sighed and continued reminiscing, "After we t, I explained my intentions. Gary Sane seed very agitated; he was very disappointed with the FBI and believed they leaked the news of his son's kidnapping.

The kidnappers haven't contacted him, and he's worried about his son's safety.

So, I ntioned I wanted to hire you for the investigation."

"Are you certain it's only these four people who know?"

"Yes, is there a problem?"

"Soone tried to stop from returning to Los Angeles. But it wasn't a big issue; I've already solved it."

Mr. Redman got a bit agitated, "Why would anyone stop you from returning to Los Angeles to investigate the case? Does soone not want my daughter rescued?"

"There's that possibility. Do you have any suspects?"

The couple exchanged a glance and shook their heads, "No."

Luke took out a sketch of a suspect who hired a female thief to steal docunts, "Do you know him?"

"No."

"Regarding this matter, don't ntion it to Gary Sane, act as if you don't know anything, I'll handle the investigation."

"Got it.

Captain Li, thank you for coming back.

My daughter has been kidnapped for so long, and finally, the investigation has made progress..."

"Thank you also for trusting ; I will do my best." Luke hung up the phone.

Who wanted to stop from returning?

It couldn't be Director Reid.

Apart from the Redman couple, there's only Gary Sane.

If it's one of these three, it ans there might be an insider in the kidnapping case.

Who could it be?
