Just like that, the list of abilities of Demonic Warring Ape appeared in his eyes like a holographic screen. But Caleb has sothing he wants to try.
He closed the holographic screen temporarily and scanned the beautiful garden where they were. Why beautiful? Well, his family let experts and professionals in various fields beautify the garden. There are professional gardeners to trim the plants. As a result, there are clean-cut plants with shapes of hearts, circles, arrows, boxes, etc...The professionals that tend the garden have a Ph.D. in natural sciences and so of them were even owners of big agricultural lands. Without exception, they were hired by his father!
Why put so much effort into just a re garden? This was also the question that appeared on Caleb's mind after he first stepped foot on their beautiful garden. Is there a benefit? Why waste so much resources for it?
As it turned out, his perception and way of thinking haven't yet adapted to that of the mindset of rich people... There is no other purpose for the garden other than because it is fresh for the eyes and calming. It also brings fresh air to the employees of their household and it was a good practice field for his two brothers. Undoubtedly, for him, it feels extravagant. But for people who grew wealthy, they don't put as much thought into it. As long as it can be solved with money it's not a problem.
All around him. Currently, there were no workers around though. Who would work that late? The workers in their household had a fixed schedule.
"Voli, co and hit ."
"Huh? Why should I do that master?"
"No questions just do it."
Although he was suspicious, Voli still did what his master asked him to do. Voli's figure grew two tis his original size which gave him a fearso visage. Then, thunder and lightning erupted from his entire being,
Voli didn't say anything and raised his paw to generate a lot of force and montum. The air around exploded with the sheer force brewing from Voli's mighty paw. It made a lot of ss in the garden.
Just like that, Voli's paw appeared instantly on Caleb's head. He might be big but he was fast! Voli was certain that he's paw would connect and he even intended to throw a follow-up attack since he knew his attack wouldn't be able to deal significant damage to his master that much.
However, Caleb knew that his strength and Voli's strength weren't far apart too much in his base form. He still has to do his best to dodge Voli's attack. Both of them were the sa transcendents after all.
Just as Voli's paw was only one inch to Caleb's cheeks. Caleb's neck twisted as if he was a grudge. If one looks closely, his neck turns crookly as if the bones in his neck were dislocated.
The unexpected dodge took Voli by surprise. Following that, Voli saw Caleb's head return to its original place effortlessly. This scene was comparable to a horror movie which made Voli who was it for the first ti horrified.
"This is boneless? What's next? Don't tell you would use Scales of Absolute Defense in conjunction with Venomous Skin!?"
"That's right Voli. You're smart. I'm just trying their effects don't worry... Now, let's see if the effect on the description is accurate! Prepare yourself!"
Caleb's words sent a shiver down Voli's spine as he prepared himself for whatever was about to co. He watched in awe as Caleb's body seed to morph before his very eyes.
First, Caleb activated Scales of Absolute Defense, causing his entire body to be covered in shimring, diamond-like scales. Then, he activated Venomous Skin, causing his scales to emit a faint green glow as they oozed with deadly venom.
"Now, co at with all you've got!" Caleb commanded, his voice filled with excitent and anticipation.
Voli hesitated for a mont, unsure of what to expect from Caleb's newfound abilities. But then, he rembered his loyalty to his master and charged forward with a fierce roar, his paw aid directly at Caleb's chest.
Caleb stood his ground, his scales glimring in the moonlight as Voli's paw collided with his chest. But to Voli's surprise, Caleb didn't flinch or recoil from the impact. Instead, he stood firm, his scales absorbing the force of the blow with ease.
As Voli withdrew his paw, he noticed that Caleb's chest was unscathed, not a single scratch or bruise to be seen. It was as if Voli's attack had been nothing more than a gentle breeze against Caleb's impenetrable defenses.
"Wow, that was amazing!" Voli exclaid, his eyes wide with disbelief. "Your abilities are even more incredible than I imagined! I can also feel the poison paralyzing my left paw even if it just touched you for a second."
Caleb grinned, feeling a surge of pride at his newfound strength. "Thanks, Voli. With these abilities, I'll be more confident in battle. No opponent will be able to damage that much."
And with that, Caleb deactivated his abilities, returning to his normal state.
Caleb pondered over Voli's question for a mont, considering the strengths and weaknesses of the three abilities he had just demonstrated.
"Well, for one, Boneless is great for flexibility and dodging attacks, but it also makes more vulnerable to direct hits," Caleb replied, scratching his head. "If I'm not careful, I could end up getting seriously injured if I rely too much on dodging."
Voli nodded in agreent, understanding the risk involved with Boneless. "What about Scales of Absolute Defense?" he asked.
Caleb smirked, acknowledging the effectiveness of the ability. "Scales of Absolute Defense is pretty solid overall, but it's not without its flaws. While it provides excellent protection against physical attacks, it doesn't offer much defense against other types of attacks, like magic or energy-based attacks."
Voli nodded again, taking note of Caleb's observation. "And what about Venomous Skin?" he inquired.
Caleb frowned, considering the question carefully. "Venomous Skin is definitely powerful in terms of offense, but it's also a double-edged sword," he explained. "If I'm not careful, I could end up poisoning my allies if they co into contact with my skin."
Voli nodded once more, understanding the potential dangers of Venomous Skin. "So, overall, each ability has its strengths and weaknesses, but when used together strategically, they can be a formidable combination," he summarized.
