Surrounded by a five-roar level beast, Zhuge, who was beside Zenith, clenched his fist. A terrifying ball of green light erged from his fist. On the other hand, Zenith moved an inch from his place, producing an after-image, and dodging the claws of one of the beasts that suddenly accelerated.
"Too slow!"
Zenith mocked. Of course, it's not that the enemies were slow. It's just that his transformation boosted his speed to a large margin.
Just like that, Zenith exchanged blows with the five-roar-level beast. I hit you in the neck; you hit in the body!
Zenith tanked everything. But he wasn't foolish enough. He endured the brunt of the attacks of the five through his non-lethal body parts while deliberately avoiding his vital points from being hit. On the other hand, Zhuge acted as a support on the side and provided tily assistance. He would use his genetic abilities to fend off attacks that Zenith couldn't dodge or bear.
With that, the battle was surprisingly at a stalemate, even though they were outnumbered. It was thanks to Zenith's transformation. But this didn't an that they were fine. This situation won't last, as Zenith was aware that his transformation wasn't sustainable for a battle of attribution. It consud too much energy!
"This can't go on! In an hour, I'll be drained! Zhuge, we need to do sothing before that!"
"Zenith, what can we do? We're already doing everything and used everything in our arsenal. Unless you have a trump card that you're hiding!"
Zhuge roared as he got pushed back from the kick of the abomination on the chest. He forcefully swallowed blood that reached his esophagus rather than spitting it. Then, Zhuge threw multiple consecutive punches that hit the left cheek and right cheek of one of the abominations.
The monster took a step back. With a guttural roar, the abomination tried to shake off the force. Bruises appeared on its cheeks and green blood flowed through the gap of its mouth.
"Take that... Do you think I'm just a display here? I'm here, damn it!"
Zhuge rubbed his sore knuckles and grinned. The five bastards kept focusing on Zenith, ignoring him in the process.
What did they think of him!? An empty air!? He still has pride as an Extraordinary Realm expert. Although he was currently a bit weaker than Zenith, who has a far superior gene than him. His 1st and 2nd genes aren't that bad.
With that, a minute later, the other roar-level beast joined the fight again. The pressure on Zhuge and Zenith increased. At this mont, Zenith started to display labored breaths, and his movents beca more and more sluggish and less precise. The consumption of energy to maintain the second transformation was finally taking its toll.
"I can't go on for any longer. There are just too many attacks."
Zenith spat a mouthful of blood after being hit by a punch right on his forehead. The force made him disoriented. However, he lowered his head to dodge the claw that ca from behind.
"Fucking bastard! Zhuge, we are fucked!"
Zhuge couldn't even talk, as dodging the attacks requires a hundred percent of his concentration. He couldn't even understand how Zenith had the ti to talk at such a crucial mont. The attack speed and frequency of their enemies were just too rapid!
Even if Zenith doesn't say it. Isn't it obvious? They are absolutely fucked! It could be said that out of 100 attacks, they can dodge 70-85. The rest, they have to bear it to their bodies. How long would they last if this continues!?
'For my students, I'll fucking last as long as I can!' Zhuge channeled every strength he could muster. The nails on his finger sharpened as it began to emit a black and white light.
With uncanny timing, Zhuge thrusts his claw-like hand and greets the fist of one of the monsters. Zhuge's finger dug into the knuckles of the grotesque roar-level monster, evaporating it to scum.
Severely injured, the monster appeared to be enraged as it just lost one of its hands. The pain stimulated its violent temper as it began to attack wilder than before.
"Good job!"
Zenith, who was still on his second transformation, appeared beside the crazy beast. Following that, the azure aura on Zenith's body congregated on his right arm.
"Dragon fist explosion!"
A dragon made out of blue energy ca out of his fist. The blue, almost lifelike dragon let out a deafening roar and charged towards the injured demon beast, swallowing its entire figure and...
BOOM!
The students, soldiers, and sprout-level beast below, on the battlefield, stopped fighting for a mont as they looked at the huge, terrifying explosion, that shook the area in fear. The demon beasts near the explosion bore the brunt of the heat and turned to ashes directly. Even the students far from the explosion lost consciousness one after another as if they just suffered a heat stroke. Their eyes literally rolled at the back.
"What a terrifying move..." Caleb had to admit. Such an attack might be able to injure him a little. Yes, a little. The premise is he has his guard down or undefended, though.
After all, if he has his guard up. Such a level of attack was still not enough for a transcendent like him. He wasn't bragging. His power level really had just reached an entirely different league.
i, who just killed a beast, stopped beside Caleb and said weakly: "Commander Zenith's power level actually reached the advanced level of an extraordinary realm in his second form. After that, i went away again to fight the monsters around and help her other classmates. Unbeknownst to them, three shadows ca out of Caleb's body. If one looks closely, they would see the three shadows fly area of explosion.
Yes, this is the solution that he could think of to participate without revealing that it was him. Why not just use his shadows to act on his behalf, right? That way, no one will be able to know that it was he who made the move. They won't be able to link the shadows to him. After all, such strong shadows. Would they suspect the shadows to be a servant to a re student like him?
