Chapter 835: Chapter 817: The Strength of the Opponent!
When it ca to the technology of the Magic Conduction Machine, Rocky’s primary concern was naturally its applications—not just any applications, but whether it could be integrated with Rune Technology and Elental Technology. Otherwise, this technology would hold little value for him.
Unfortunately, it was still too early to verify this step. Pelaya had only just completed the construction of the Magic Conduction Machine, and it would take thorough research to draw any aningful conclusions. After pondering the matter, Rocky returned to the first floor to continue organizing the materials with Orton.
In this manner, it took a good half month before the two of them finally managed to sort through all the research materials sent by the Magic Energy Research Institute. These docunts were distributed to the various departnts, and Rocky went on to et Hamrfire and Aniye afterward.
Like Pelaya, upon receiving the Sixth-Generation Armor design plans sent by Uranus Corporation, Hamrfire and Aniye imdiately set about their in-depth analysis, ticulously dissecting every aspect of the proposals provided by Uranus.
“The opposing side has indeed achieved a significant breakthrough in Elental Technology. If nothing goes awry, they should be able to officially release the Sixth-Generation Armor in six months.”
When Rocky t the two masters, this was the conclusion they conveyed to him.
Judging by the materials sent by Uranus Corporation, their Sixth-Generation Armor developnt was already nearing its final stage. It wouldn’t be long before it made its official debut!
The news gave Rocky quite a jolt. The Sixth-Generation Armor was a globally anticipated project, especially after the sudden ergence of Rune Technology. Even Rocky had been closely following Uranus Corporation’s progress. Yet, he had failed to gain any information beforehand. Learning in such a sudden manner that their research was nearing completion naturally ca as a shock to him.
Upon calm reflection, however, it didn’t seem so surprising. After all, Uranus Corporation had been working on Sixth-Generation Armor for six to seven years—a lengthy developnt period that should logically yield results by now.
Rocky promptly asked, “Teachers, how does this armor fare?”
Even though it was only the design plan, Hamrfire and Aniye’s expertise allowed them to deduce the armor’s capabilities just from examining the design. This much, they were certainly capable of.
“Quite impressive.”
“Yes, very impressive.”
To this question, Hamrfire and Aniye spoke in unison, delivering a unanimous and highly positive evaluation of Uranus Corporation’s Sixth-Generation Armor.
They then elaborated, “Although Uranus Corporation hasn’t mastered the new Magic Energy Technology and thus made limited breakthroughs in mana capacity, they’ve achieved enormous progress in lateral fields. They’ve also clearly drawn inspiration from the concept of the Magic Conduction Machine. While the advancents in mana capacity for the Sixth-Generation Armor are relatively modest, it is sufficient to sustain the armor’s requirents. If I am not mistaken, the base mana output of the Sixth-Generation Armor could reach twenty thousand.”
“Twenty thousand…”
Upon hearing this figure, Rocky let out a sigh of relief. A mana capacity of twenty thousand was certainly impressive compared to the Fifth-Generation Armor. Even with dedicated Special Armor variants of the Fifth Generation, mana outputs exceeding ten thousand were exceedingly rare, with the highest barely surpassing that threshold. Therefore, a mana capacity of twenty thousand effectively doubled that of the Fifth Generation.
This number might seem substantial, but in the present landscape, it was rather unremarkable. Both the Holy Angel Armor and the latest White Demon Armor had mana outputs approaching or exceeding this value. In other words, the Sixth-Generation Armor was rely on par with the Holy Angel Armor and White Demon Armor in terms of mana capacity.
As long as its mana capacity wasn’t overwhelming, the Sixth-Generation Armor’s combat potential would be inherently limited. This realization reassured Rocky to so extent.
“I was only referring to the base mana capacity.”
But just as he exhaled in relief, Aniye continued, “The base mana capacity of the Sixth-Generation Armor is indeed only twenty thousand. However, according to the design plans we’ve examined, this armor is clearly designed to accommodate additional modular devices, such as Magic Conduction Machine-based modules. These modules might include weapon systems, defensive systems, or even mana-enhancent systems.”
“Once these supplental mana equipnt modules are accounted for, the mana capacity of the Sixth-Generation Armor could be exponentially increased—effortlessly surpassing both the Holy Angel and the White Demon armors.”
“It… it can do that?”
Hearing Aniye’s analysis, Rocky, who had just started to relax, found his jaw dropping. He imdiately grasped the subtext: the Sixth-Generation Armor had achieved a technological breakthrough significant enough to surpass both the Holy Angel and the White Demon armors!
“It’s nothing to be surprised about. For sothing to be designated as Sixth-Generation Armor, it naturally has to reach this level.”
Seeing Rocky’s stunned expression, Hamrfire spoke dismissively with a slight curl of his lip, completely unfazed.
Indeed, as Hamrfire suggested, they were discussing Sixth-Generation Armor here—a groundbreaking innovation. Progress of this scale was an essential prerequisite for such a designation.
Hamrfire continued, “Beyond mana capacity, the design approach of Uranus Corporation’s new armor is highly innovative in other respects. For example, the armor’s skeleton employs a modular assembly design, dividing the entire suit into five parts: two arms, two legs, and the torso. This not only facilitates production but also simplifies repairs while allowing for extensive modifications.”
“Unfortunately, the opposing side did not include combat data or the associated technologies used with the armor. As such, many of the specifics remain unknown to us…”
At this point, Hamrfire’s face betrayed evident frustration. It was clear that Uranus Corporation had been sowhat cunning. While they had fulfilled Rocky’s request by providing the Sixth-Generation Armor design plans and a significant portion of the research data, they had withheld data on experints, field tests, and other technologies associated with the armor. These seemingly peripheral details were, in reality, critical.
As a result, Hamrfire and Aniye could only make educated guesses about certain aspects of the armor’s performance, leaving much of the finer details elusive.
“Those bastards…!”
Hearing this, Rocky was not just furious—he also felt a pang of regret. If only he had been more ticulous and had Athena raise more exacting demands earlier! Alas, it was now too late to change that.
Even so, there was one truth he had firmly grasped: even with his mastery of Rune Technology and Elental Technology, he could not afford to beco complacent. Otherwise, his competitors might soon overtake him. And once that happened, Rocky would no longer enjoy his current position of dominance. He would be rendered powerless, a re pawn at the rcy of others—a fate he absolutely could not allow.
