The "Gates of the Divine Kingdom" were far more grand and imposing than what Elliott had imagined or what had been described in books.
Elliott was completely awestruck.
The two bronze doors opened slightly, and a trendous force swallowed the necklace from the altar.
Then the bronze doors closed, the vortex vanished, and everything returned to calm.
After a long while, Elliott hurriedly bowed his head and said, "Praise the Creator!"
At that mont, he felt he had gained a new understanding of the "Creator." His family's curse really had a chance of being lifted!
He then repented in his heart for ever doubting the Creator's power.
Unfortunately, he still couldn't report the existence of the Creator to the elders of the family. Perhaps so of the sealed items within the family could please the Creator.

In the Nation of Disorder, on the Iron Throne, Hobert was playing with the necklace in his hand.
The necklace was silver, with a main design of an inverted triangle. In the center of the triangle was a crystal resembling a sapphire, with a swirling power seemingly moving inside it.
Utilizing the status of the Nation of Disorder, Hobert had already discerned the necklace's abilities and its negative effects:
The first ability allowed one to perform diumship using the necklace, even with living beings.
The second ability granted highly sensitive Spirit Vision. As long as the necklace was worn, one could see all undead creatures, easily identify their weaknesses, and communicate effectively with nature spirits.
The negative effect was that wearing it for too long would gradually turn the wearer into a lifeless corpse without emotions or thoughts. Therefore, after every 12 hours of wearing, it had to be removed for 3 hours of rest.
Hobert placed the necklace on the armrest of the Iron Throne. The negative effects were easy to avoid, making it a rather practical Beyonder item. In the future, he wouldn't need to pray to the Evernight Goddess for help with spirit communication anymore.
However, with his Sequence 9 spirituality, using the necklace would probably only allow him to communicate with spirits once.
Wait a minute.
Hobert suddenly thought of a plan. He could leave the necklace in the Nation of Disorder, then pray to his own power, and use the Iron Throne to invoke the spirituality of the Nation of Disorder to activate the necklace. He could even transfer the ability to the real world!
Theoretically, this was possible, and he would have to find an opportunity to test it.
Next, it was ti to na this Beyonder item. Hobert guessed that the Beyonder characteristics used in making the necklace likely ca from a Sequence 7 Spirit dium of the Corpse Collector pathway. However, during its creation, only the primary abilities of the Spirit dium had been retained, with so of the rituals and knowledge related to spirits not being preserved.
Hobert murmured, "Since it cos from a Spirit dium, let's just call it the Spirit Necklace."
After finishing all this, he felt his spirituality was nearly exhausted, having used too much while capturing the sacrificial item earlier.
Hobert glanced at the Spirit Necklace once more and left the Nation of Disorder.
That night, Hobert was exhausted again. He thought to himself that ever since he gained the ability to freely enter and exit the Nation of Disorder, his sleep quality had greatly improved.
It didn't take long after lying down before Hobert fell into a deep sleep.
The next day, to avoid being unable to find a hired carriage in the countryside, Hobert simply applied for a two-wheeled carriage from the office.
After an hour and a half in the carriage, he arrived at the village where Penny's family lived. Looking at the scenery of the villages along the way, Hobert joked to himself: Who would have thought I'd beco a rural lawyer?
After asking for directions twice, Hobert successfully found Penny's house.
It was a very ordinary farmhouse, low and cramped.
Inside the farmhouse, only Penny's father was ho. His hair and beard were white, and he looked very old.
Upon learning that Hobert was a lawyer and was here to see his daughter, the old man hurriedly called out Penny's na several tis.
Then, feeling a bit embarrassed, the old man explained to Hobert, "Penny went to the riverside. She should be back soon."
Hobert nodded, "That's fine, I can wait."
Sure enough, after a few minutes, a woman in her twenties with so beauty returned, holding a very cute little boy.
Upon seeing the child, Penny's father almost jumped up, "Why did you bring him back too?"
The woman was likely Penny. She ignored her father and looked at Hobert, asking, "And you are?"
Hobert stepped forward and said, "Hello, madam. I am the lawyer Mr. Barron hired."
Penny smiled wryly, then sighed in relief, "So, he finally knows."
The old man nearly collapsed, "I told you to get rid of that child! He'll ruin your life!"
The boy, still playing with the flower garland in his hand, paid no attention to the adults' conversation.
Penny's eyes were full of tenderness as she looked at the boy, "But he's my son. Who could bear to abandon such a little angel?"
Hobert felt as though he could see a patch of green growing on Mr. Barron's head. This situation made things much easier. Just as he was about to speak, he realized sothing was off: "How old is the child?"
Penny replied, "A little over four."
"So, this child wasn't born during your marriage with Mr. Baron?"
"That's right. Benny was born before Barron and I got married."
Hobert thought for a mont, which made sense. Otherwise, it would have been hard to hide a pregnancy from one's spouse.
But a new question arose—why hadn't Penny gotten pregnant with Mr. Barron's child in the past three years?
Hobert pondered, then took out so docunts from his bag and reviewed them. Sure enough, Mr. Barron had been married to his ex-wife for five years, and they didn't have any children either.
He asked Penny, "If it's convenient, could you tell more about this child's background?"
Penny was silent for a few seconds before saying, "Alright, so things are bound to be revealed eventually."
Penny then told her story. Five years ago, a young man ca to the farm, hired by Mr. Barron to prune the fruit trees.
This young man was handso and sunny, and he quickly fell in love with the young and beautiful Penny. On a certain dark and stormy night, the two succumbed to temptation.
Not long after, Penny beca pregnant. When the young man found out, he swore he would marry her, but the next day, he disappeared without a trace.
Penny searched for a long ti, but she never found him.
As her belly grew, she had no choice but to return ho and give birth to the child.
Originally, she thought she could work and raise the child by herself, and life would still be good. However, Mr. Barron insisted on marrying her.
Penny was afraid that if Mr. Barron found out she had a child, he would be furious and harm the boy. So, she didn't dare reveal the truth. Penny's parents, eager to see the marriage succeed, worked hard to conceal the secret.
The long-held deception made Penny feel increasingly guilty towards Mr. Barron, which is why her smile had beco so rare.
Hobert chuckled, "Well, this reduces my own guilt quite a bit."
