[Thanks to Little Demon for becoming a mber, 5]
Sitting on the "Iron Throne," Hobert fell into deep thought. The "Mother Goddess of Depravity" had never ceased Her attacks on this world, but so far, Her power had difficulty projecting directly onto Earth.
She could only "lure out" the Beyonders on Earth, corrupt them, and then help Her accomplish certain things on Earth.
The corruption of Spike happened before the corruption of Roselle, and the thods seed similar, possibly making the corruption of Spike just an attempt.
After Spike returned to Earth, he didn't realize he had been corrupted; he only knew that he had beco a devotee of the "Mother Goddess of Depravity."
Hobert suddenly thought of the Tomb Owner's curse. Now it seed that the existence of this book was the Tomb Owner's curse.
If soone read this book without any protection, they would inevitably suffer corruption unknowingly. For a Sequence 6, that would be a catastrophe!
And Colin, the Tomb Owner, was also corrupted after learning about Spike's experience. However, the "Mother Goddess of Depravity's" corruption of Spike seed very restrained. Spike didn't lose his mind, so Colin, who was corrupted by Spike, didn't imdiately go insane.
But it was certain that Colin and his family mbers had all beco loyal believers of the "Mother Goddess of Depravity."
Continuing to "recall," according to Spike's own account, that great existence gave him two tasks in total.
Spike gave one of the tasks to Colin and his family mbers: to go to the Southern Continent to confirm the status of the "Bound God" and the status of "Dark Side of the Universe" Farbauti.
This… Hobert found it a bit strange. Why would the "Mother Goddess of Depravity" be interested in these two pathways?
Theoretically, the "Chained God" corresponds to the Angel King of the "Prisoner" pathway, with the "Rose School of Thought" as its main force.
"Dark Side of the Universe" corresponds to the True God of the "Abyss" pathway, with the Blood Sect as its main force.
This should be the "territory" of the "Mother Tree of Desire."
But then he thought, is there so cooperation between the "Mother Goddess of Depravity" and the "Mother Tree"?
Hobert rembered that it was the "Mother Goddess of Depravity" who corrupted Lilith, and Lilith tricked the "Mutant King" in a battle at the end of the Second Epoch.
This led to the fall of the True God of the "Chained" pathway, which is the "Prisoner" pathway.
The later "Chained God" was only a King of Angels, probably because he didn't have the protection of a True God's position, making him so easily corrupted by the "Mother Tree of Desire."
Then the "Mother Tree of Desire" basically controlled the "Rose School of Thought," with only "Miss ssenger," "Miss Bodyguard," and others not affected by the "Mother Tree of Desire."
This whole operation looked like a conspiracy between the "Mother Goddess of Depravity" and the "Mother Tree of Desire." The forr obtained a portion of the "Moon" pathway's power, and the latter obtained the opportunity to corrupt the "Chained" pathway.
This is also why Klein initially thought they were an Outer God (or a Great Old One). However, based on the later situation, they should be two different Outer Gods.
It is very likely that they had so cooperation before, or the "Mother Tree of Desire" simply took advantage of the "Mother Goddess of Depravity's" arrangents, since the "Mother Tree of Desire's" position is half a grade lower than the "Mother Goddess of Depravity," and it can only influence the situation on Earth when there is an opportunity.
But why would the "Mother Goddess of Depravity" be so interested in the two pathways of the "Mother Tree of Desire" in the Fifth Epoch?
Hobert thought for a mont and seed to have found the answer. The "Mother Tree of Desire" seed to have a portion of the "Moon" and "Mother" authority in her hands.
The "Mother Goddess of Depravity" was likely conducting so peripheral investigations for those authorities.
In other words, the relationship between Outer Gods is similar to that between True Gods. There is cooperation, but they will also be affected by the three laws of "Beyonder characteristics," leading to hostile, or even mortal enemy, relationships.
Hobert thought seriously. Even if the "Mother Goddess of Depravity" and the "Mother Tree of Desire" were not mortal enemies, unless the "Mother Tree of Desire" returned the authority of the "Moon" and "Mother" pathways in her hands to the "Mother Goddess of Depravity," they should still be in an adversarial relationship.
Unless it involved a transaction regarding authority, Hobert estimated that the "Mother Tree of Desire" would not voluntarily return the corresponding authority.
Thinking of these things, Hobert continued to "recall."
After Colin inherited the title of Viscount, he ventured to the Southern Continent five tis to inquire about information.
It was truly 'venturing," because there were no safe passages at that ti. Fortunately, with Spike's help, they could use the Beyonder abilities of the "Door" pathway to go to the Southern Continent.
At that ti, the Southern Continent had just regained so order, and the Paz Kingdom and the Highland Kingdom were often at war.
These wars could be seen as the descendants of Death and the "Rose School of Thought" vying for control of the Southern Continent.
Hobert's "recall" ca to an abrupt end. He paused for a mont before realizing that he had only seen this far with his previous glance.
So Hobert returned to the real world, flipped through a few more pages of the book with a casual glance, and then entered the "Nation of Disorder" again, starting to recall again.
The subsequent content was basically Colin's observations and experiences on the Southern Continent, including the customs there and information about the main extraordinary pathways, etc.
If a scholar studying the history of the Southern Continent obtained this information, they would definitely cherish it, but Hobert wasn't very interested.
Using the thod of entering and exiting the "Nation of Disorder," Hobert spent a long ti before finding the source of that "oil painting."
It turned out that the oil painting with high-sequence dream abilities in Colin's tomb passage ca from the Southern Continent. It was said to have co from a mber of the Blood Sect and was an important basis for Colin's search for "Dark Side of the Universe" Farbauti.
Unfortunately, Colin didn't get any definite news about Farbauti until the last mont of his life.
Colin believed that his divination had gone wrong. This oil painting didn't point to Farbauti but should point to other high-level mbers of the Blood Sect, so he brought the oil painting to the tomb.
Hobert thought of the scene in the church in the oil painting, the murals around the throne in the sea of flowers, all depicting demons.
Perhaps, as Colin guessed, it was the dream of a high-level mber of the Blood Sect.
"Dark Side of the Universe" Farbauti is an ancient god of the Second Epoch. Hobert rembered that this Demon God's proposition was: to subvert all order and pollute all living beings.
His dream must be twisted and full of corruption.
However, Hobert saw that the dream in the oil painting was orderly. Although the murals and flower bushes had a unique aesthetic, they were not twisted. At least Hobert wasn't polluted by it.
After reading all of "Colin Antigonus's Notes," Hobert returned to the real world. The first thing he did was to tear off and burn all the descriptions about Spike.
Then Hobert used a healing spell on himself, hoping that he hadn't been affected by the corresponding corruption.
