Hobert rembered that Sequence 2 Angels had enough power to shatter Beyonder characteristics, after which the characteristics would reassemble, thereby removing so contamination or curse from them.

Hobert was about to obtain the Briber Beyonder characteristic, and he had already obtained the Baron of Corruption Beyonder characteristic. Each of them contained a lower Sequence Beyonder characteristic.

Of course, consuming such Beyonder characteristics would enhance the corresponding abilities, but this would also put pressure on Hobert's spirituality.

Hobert had previously considered that if the Briber Beyonder characteristic only included the main material of the Briber, that would be best, since Sequence 7 was a crucial barrier.

Once past Sequence 7, consuming the Baron of Corruption Beyonder characteristic with its extra Beyonder characteristics wouldn't be as hard to accept.

On the contrary, it could even be a way to beco stronger.

Hobert had once envisioned two solutions: one was to find an Unshadowed or an equivalent sealed artifact to separate out the Beyonder characteristics one by one according to their Sequences.

The other solution was to use a High Sequence sealed artifact or request an Angel to shatter the Beyonder characteristics.

But the Unshadowed are demigods, and Angels are Sequence 2. Even if Hobert knew where to find them, it wasn't likely they'd help soone at Sequence 8, especially a stranger.

Both solutions were hard to realize, and Hobert gave up on the idea after so thought.

However, after seeing this piece of information today, Hobert had a flash of insight.

The Nation of Disorder represents the "Shadow of Order," and unconventional actions are its basic operating principle.

Perhaps he could attempt to use the Disorder power within the higher position of the Nation of Disorder to shatter the Beyonder characteristic, and then influence it to reassemble according to its Sequence.

With this in mind, Hobert imdiately took a cab to 192 Blanca Street.

Although the rcenary club had rooms available, many of the Beyonders there followed the Arbiter pathway, and Hobert worried they might notice when he entered the Nation of Disorder.

Returning to his bedroom, Hobert drew the curtains and entered the Nation of Disorder right away.

Seated on the Iron Throne, Hobert looked at the stone platform beside him and finally selected a Barbarian Beyonder characteristic for his experint.

When Hobert had received those two Barbarian Beyonder characteristics from the Nighthawks, he had used a sacrificial thod to bring them into the Nation of Disorder.

At the sa ti, he stored the Teleporting Statue in the Nation of Disorder when not in use. Since it was a sealed artifact and not a mystical item, carrying it all the ti could exhaust his spirituality, and he might miss the mont he needed to use it.

With a wave of his hand, a Barbarian Beyonder characteristic appeared in Hobert's hand. He then began manipulating the Disorder power of the Nation of Disorder, attempting to turn the Beyonder characteristic into a chaotic state.

The Beyonder characteristic wrapped in the Disorder power imdiately started trembling.

There's a reaction!

Hobert quickly gathered more Disorder power into his hand, causing the tremors of the Beyonder characteristic to increase in frequency. Finally, when he reached the limit of the Disorder power he could manipulate, cracks appeared on the Beyonder characteristic, and it transford into a sticky, chaotic state.

Sweating profusely, Hobert didn't have ti to celebrate. He carefully divided the chaotic mass into two portions and placed them on the left and right sides of the Iron Throne.

Hobert let out a sigh of relief, having experienced the limits of power within the Nation of Disorder for the first ti.

It wasn't the limit of the Nation of Disorder itself, but rather the limit of what he could achieve as a Sequence 8. Shattering a Beyonder characteristic was already the most he could do using the power of the Nation of Disorder.

Of course, Hobert wasn't naive enough to think he had gained the strength of an Angel. It was his extensive knowledge of mysticism, combined with the special properties of the Nation of Disorder that allowed a Sequence 8 like him to wield such power.

Other Sefirah domains likely couldn't achieve this as easily.

Just as the Nation of Disorder couldn't grant him an ability like "Angel's Embrace," it had its limits.

Hobert turned his attention back to the two portions of the "chaotic state" Beyonder characteristic, noticing that the chaos was gradually dissipating. Soon, the Beyonder characteristic would reassemble into one Barbarian characteristic and one Lawyer characteristic.

Hobert's gaze then shifted to the Teleporting Statue. Since he had ti, he decided to try using the Nation of Disorder to strengthen its power.

With another wave of his hand, the Teleporting Statue flew into Hobert's grasp, and he began channeling the power of the Nation of Disorder to surround the statue.

Hobert noticed that part of the power seed to be absorbed by the statue.

The statue visibly changed, becoming darker in color, almost to the point of shining black.

After withdrawing the power of the Nation of Disorder and examining the statue again, he found its abilities had increased by about half. Originally able to manipulate space within a 10-ter range, it could now affect a 15-ter radius.

A 15-ter range was enough to launch a sneak attack, such as hiding behind a wall and suddenly burying the enemy underground.

The enemy would likely be completely bewildered: "What just happened? Why did it suddenly go dark? Who turned off the lights? I was enjoying my hotpot and singing, and now I can't see anything!"

Heh heh heh, just thinking about it was amusing.

The negative side effects had also lessened sowhat. Every twenty minutes, his soul and body would still be distorted, but the first distortion wouldn't cause irreversible damage anymore. It would just lead to so temporary confusion in his thoughts, or cause his body to act out of sync with his mind.

After finishing all of this, Hobert felt utterly exhausted. He placed the Teleporting Statue back on the stone platform and left the Nation of Disorder.

When he returned to the real world, night had already fallen. After a brief rest, Hobert went downstairs, intending to make dinner in the kitchen.

However, when passing by the armchair, Hobert suddenly felt the "Lazy God" within him awaken. He looked at the kitchen, then at the armchair, and in the end, he chose the armchair.

At that mont, he thought again of the convenience of takeout: if only there were takeout service, he could lie in his armchair and have food delivered to him. Alas, there was no such service.

After lying there for a while, Hobert finally made up his mind. He put on his coat and headed to the nearby "Flavor of Desi Restaurant" to solve his dinner problem.

---

The middle-aged man with shoulder-length, more or less greasy hair smoked a cigar while looking at the material in front of him, and finally he heavily slapped the material on the table, "I spent 200 pounds, and this is all I've found out about this trivial stuff?"

On the side, a man in his thirties with a bowler hat said, "Alva, we have too few clues."

He was Boris, the assistant of the greasy middle-aged man.

Cigar in hand, Alva spread out the material again and pointed to a spot, "What does it an here that the suspected Nighthawk was involved?"

"After a visit by two detective assistants," Boris explained, "the residents of Moonflower Street seed to have invariably fallen into a deep sleep on the night of the accident, so the investigators believe that there was a Nighthawk involved."

It was because of this speculation that the other party imdiately abandoned further investigation.

"Bullshit!" Boris said, "We've never ssed with the Nighthawks, why would they kill our people?"
