"Next, I should consider how to successfully clear this level."

Thinking this, Li Wei continued cultivating the farmland. When he returned to camp at dusk, he suddenly saw a mass of gray mist drifting outside the camp. After a few seconds, a man's figure appeared from within the mist, around his twenties, similarly thin but taller than Li Wei.

Without a doubt, this was the new player, Penny's fiancé, Sam!

"Sam! You're finally here! I thought you were dead! This is wonderful, I'm so happy."

At that mont, Penny flew into the man's arms like a little bird, kissing him wildly and showering him with affection, probably using this thod to remind the new player of their relationship.

The man called Sam looked completely bewildered, exactly like when Li Wei first arrived.

Logically, he should have received the information prompt by now. At the very least, he should maintain so caution.

But the next second, Li Wei heard the new player say:

"You, who are you? Why am I here? Is this the Main God's Reincarnation World? Are you a veteran player? Or an NPC! Why am I called Sam?"

His words poured out like exploding beans or machine gun fire. Penny couldn't stop him in ti, and her frantic eye signals were useless.

Did this guy not see the warning ssage?

But the next mont, the young man's face turned as ugly as dog shit.

Hmm, not eliminated, but definitely punished.

Now he quieted down, looking at Penny, then at Li Wei, then at Fila who remained uninvolved and only showed a loving smile, completely at a loss.

"Sam, this is my mother Fila, and this is my brother George. From now on, we're family. It's a pity Father isn't here anymore, otherwise he would have been delighted to see us marry and have children, expanding this family."

Penny tightly gripped the new player's hand, squeezing until his face turned blue. Penny could chop down ten trees a day now, her hands as hard as iron sand palms.

This nearly cheating-level hint finally made the new player understand. Although Penny might also get punished for this spoiler, it was probably worth it.

At least until this Sam figured out the core logic of how this mission operated, he would be Penny's little wolf dog.

"Let's go!"

Not giving Sam any chance to say more, Penny pulled him into the house. Soon after, sounds unsuitable for children could be heard.

So fierce!

And really ruthless!

This must be the legendary forcing the issue!

Li Wei didn't return to the house. He had just finished sowing today, and since there was no fence yet, he needed to keep watch to prevent small animals from digging up the freshly buried seeds. Although he wasn't sure if this would actually happen, it was better to be safe than sorry.

As night deepened,

Li Wei lit three bonfires at the edge of the farmland and prepared plenty of firewood.

Thanks to Penny's frenzied woodcutting during this period, the household had abundant firewood that could last for months.

Holding two wooden spears, Li Wei patrolled within the area illuminated by the bonfires. The surroundings weren't very quiet - insect calls rose and fell continuously, mountain winds wailed through the forest, occasional beast howls ca from the distance, and several bats swiftly flew through the night sky, adding a touch of mystery and unknown to the darkness.

Li Wei felt sowhat like retreating in his heart. This was communal wheat field - he didn't need to work so desperately and exhaustingly.

But this thought quickly dissipated because he still wanted to clear the level. This newly sown wheat field was practically small animals' favorite spot.

And the farmland's output was the most crucial support for surviving the winter.

If he wanted to improve his clearance evaluation, he couldn't be careless.

Glancing back toward the camp direction, he could vaguely see bonfire light behind the wall. This wall inexplicably gave him a small sense of security.

Indeed, although he didn't get along with Penny, Li Wei still admired her. Because just this seemingly sturdy wall alone increased his courage for night patrols by several degrees.

Just as he was thinking this, Li Wei suddenly glanced forward and instantly broke out in cold sweat,

Because just dozens of ters ahead to the right, at the edge of the wheat field, using the faint firelight, he actually saw a pair of glowing green eyes.

Then ca a second pair, a third pair.

At that mont, his hair stood on end. His first thought was ghosts, his second thought finally registered - probably wolves!

His third thought was wolf pack.

But this ti Li Wei didn't wet himself or collapse in fear. He directly rushed toward his own wheat field just steps away, where not only was there a vigorously burning bonfire, but also a wooden fence.

And almost the mont he started running, those several wolves simultaneously coordinated their approach, as if seeing through Li Wei's weakness.

But soon they all stopped again, because Li Wei had already backed against the fence, with roaring bonfires beside him, holding wooden spears, looking fierce and nacing. At this mont, he was prepared for a life-or-death battle.

Shadows continuously flashed opposite - these wolves were searching for attack angles.

But they couldn't possibly find any. Behind the fence of Li Wei's wheat field was the wall Penny had built. After dark, even the entrance was blocked, and the cow was in the cowshed.

So Li Wei didn't need to worry about his retreat.

And this so-called wolf pack seed to only have five wolves.

After silently confronting for about half an hour, facing Li Wei's wooden spears and vigorously burning bonfires, they ultimately didn't launch an attack, silently disappearing into the darkness as if they had never co.

But Li Wei was truly scared to death.

He didn't even dare to patrol the wheat field anymore, just hiding by the fires, pricking up his ears, not daring to move at all.

This was truly a long night, but ultimately nothing happened. Thanks to those three bonfires, no small animals ca in either, at least Li Wei didn't see any.

When dawn arrived and cooking sounds ca from the courtyard, Li Wei finally returned. He saw Penny pulling her fiancé Sam, already up and busy in the courtyard constructing a brick kiln, seemingly also wanting to try building a small blast furnace for iron slting. One could only say the potential of a professional craftsman was sothing the farr profession couldn't comprehend.

She had already completed the tasks assigned by the Family Head and now had free work ti, with all work achievents belonging to herself.

Speaking of which, her handicraft developnt plan had been delayed for almost half a month, but the early losses weren't too significant, and she had even accumulated a batch of completely dried adobe bricks.

Now watching Penny operate skillfully, truly worthy of being a professional craftsman. This ti, she would probably succeed.

Li Wei felt so envy, but could only envy.

Penny's fiancé Sam assisted her, flustered and clumsy. Although not very adapted, he was very enthusiastic, clearly triggered by positive feedback.

Li Wei was quite looking forward to seeing this guy's expression when he discovered none of them were natives.
