Chapter 571: Ancient Gods and Devils
Yang Ling furrowed his brows. He mulled this over, but he still couldn’t understand the Graveyard of Gods and Devils’ affair.
“The Graveyard of Gods and Devils’ is more complicated than we think, and ordinary people can only travel in the outer periphery. The tall mountains were flattened due to the Ancient Gods and Devils’ fights, and rivers’ flow path was changed, while many innurable spatial crevices were made in the Plane. This was a large disaster and innurable Ancient Gods and Devils died, while only a few of the intelligent races survived. A Plane with a beautiful environnt was turned into a unique great graveyard.
After the battle, the whole Plane turned into ruins, and Turbulent Spatial Flows that rushed forth through the spatial crevices ran amok everywhere. They created terrifying Spatial Storms, and this was why so places had a gravitational anomaly, and even an expert with a High-Level Deity’s power couldn’t move easily there, while in so other places, one would float and wouldn’t suffer gravity’s influence.
After innurable years, so spatial crevices healed by themselves, while others were stabilized by peerless powerhouses with great magical abilities so that they could use them. They ford innurable Planes Channels that were used by the people to enter the Graveyard of Gods and Devils.
In addition, the surviving intelligent races and Magical Beasts went through a mutation, and their descendants got all kinds of strange innate gifts, while so even evolved into terrifying demons.
After the disaster, the Plane beca unusually brimming with energy. The reason behind this might have been of the Turbulent Spatial Flows’ energy, and it might also have been a large amount of energy released by Ancient Gods and Devils upon their death. So people ca over to look for Ancient Gods and Devils’ Godheads and Divine Weapons, while others ca to train in seclusion in the Graveyard of Gods and Devils. After innurable years, the number of people staying in the Graveyard of Gods and Devils rose higher, and its situation turned more complex.
“Mr. Gerald, since innurable people ca to the Graveyard of Gods and Devils in the past years, shouldn’t all Godheads and Divine Weapons have been plundered by them? Is there still any significance behind our entry?” Even though the Sword God spoke for a long ti, Yang Ling was still confused, and he felt like this matter wasn’t as simple as what the Sword God stated.
“It’s significant. It’s obviously significant.” The Sword God looked at the confused Yang Ling and spoke, “After the passing of long years, people forestalled us to many Ancient Gods and Devils’ Godheads and Divine Weapons. But, there are still nurous Godheads and Divine Weapons left behind, and it’s up to one’s luck whether he will manage to get them.”
The Sword God Gerald looked at the crowd that wore a grave expression and took a breath before he said, “There are three reasons why Ancient Gods and Devils’ Godheads and Divine Weapons are left up to this day. The first is that they are spread throughout the whole Graveyard of Gods and Devils, and none knows where they are buried. The second reason is that so are in the depths of the Graveyard of Gods and Devils and none could go inside to seek them. The last reason is that they are protected by a large number of demons or Magical Beasts.”
“Mr. Gerald, could it be that the Graveyard of Gods and Devils’ depths are so terrifying that even an expert with an apex High-Level Deity’s power isn’t able to go there?” The Corpse Wizard King looked in confusion at the Sword God.
“The inner periphery is vast like the outer periphery and even the legendary Divine Lords can’t enter so places there, let alone a powerhouse with a High-Level Deity’s power.” The Sword God tried hard to recall what Raymond had said in the past. He had no idea about the concrete situation, but he was still aware that ordinary people weren’t able to venture into the Graveyard of Gods and Devils’ depths.
In the past, the Sword God was in the pri of youth, and he joined hands with several brothers to venture into the Graveyard of Gods and Devils’ depths. They hoped to get by chance a Godhead or Divine Weapon of Ancient Gods and Devils. “Mr. Gerald, what do you an by the last reason you ntioned? Ancient Gods and Devils have already died. So, why are they protected by a large number of demons and Magical Beasts?” Yang Ling questioned the Sword God that sat opposite to him.
“Ancient Gods and Devils’ abilities are beyond the imagination of ordinary people like us.” The Sword God shook his head and paused for a mont before he said, “It’s said that even though so powerful Ancient Gods and Devils died, they left behind a wisp of their Divine Consciousness and they summoned a large number of guards or Magical Beasts to protect their corpses. They hoped to co back to life one day.”
“There are still so Ancient Gods and Devils who asked in advance their disciples or Demonic Pets to protect their Godheads and Divine Weapons after their death. It’s said that the Abyssal Demon Lord had died in the past, but he left behind a wisp of his Divine Consciousness, and he forcefully summoned a large number of demons and Protective Spirits from the Abyssal Plane to guard his main body that would shortly dissipate.”
Could Ancient Gods and Devils co back to life?
Yang Ling found this unbelievable, and he shook his head. Even an ordinary Abyssal Demon like Barr was so powerful, and it was really unimaginable how great was the fighting prowess of the Abyssal Demon Lord.
“Yang Ling, picking by chance the Ancient Gods and Devils’ Godheads and Divine Weapons will be the best for us, but you still shouldn’t try to get one at all cost, and you mustn’t take risks and venture into the Graveyard of Gods and Devils’ depths.” The Sword God looked at Yang Ling that entered the Graveyard of Gods and Devils for the first ti and gave him a kind warning.

They were rare and our main objective behind entering the Graveyard of Gods and Devils every ti isn’t finding Ancient Gods and Devils’ Godheads and Divine Weapons, but hunting down all kinds of Magical Beasts for their Essence Crystal. And we could hunt and kill a God-Level Magical Beast and get its Godhead. This would be better.”
“That is right, this is also our trip’s objective.” The Chief Elven Priestess agreed to what the Sword God had said.
The Chief Elven Priestess and the Sword God were Mid-Level Deities that entered the Graveyard of Gods and Devils many tis, and they were aware that they couldn’t get the Ancient Gods and Devils’ Godheads and Divine Weapons through hard work. This is why it was better to seize the ti to hunt several God-Level Magical Beasts.
It was only the people that entered the Graveyard of Gods and Devils for the first ti and weren’t aware of its situation that would run around everywhere to look for a Godhead of Ancient Gods and Devils. In general, these kinds of people would usually die quicker than the others, and they wouldn’t just fail to get a Godhead of Ancient Gods and Devils, they would even lose their lives.

They planned to set up a camp there for several days and wait until their injuries recovered before making another plan. After the crowd washed their faces by the lake, they started bustling. So people were building wooden houses, while others were leveling off the land, and others killed several sheep to roast them. After the crowd discerned that danger wasn’t lurking in the vicinity, they heaved a sigh of relief!

When they hid in the forest, they managed to narrowly evade a large group of demons’ detection, and soon after, they were frightened by a Silver Ring Venomous Snake.
They were exhausted, both physically and ntally!
After the crowd relaxed, so people started bustling, while others laid on the ground or against a giant boulder to rest. They had all seen with their own eyes Colke’s outco, and none dared to lean against a tree. They were afraid that they would be swallowed by a large python!
Roar!
When the crowd just loosened up thoroughly, roars transmitted from the forest and a large group of beasts as big as a calf rushed out of the forest.
Those beasts had hard, and sharps thorns atop their backs, and their bodies were covered by heavy armor-like dense black scales. There were six eyes as big as a hen’s egg on their faces, and they emitted scarlet radiance. They seed quite dangerous, and their shape resembled a lion, but their heads were different. It was unknown what kind of monster those were!
