However, just as it was about to take to the skies and tear the detestable swordsman in two, the Spellcasters of the Church shot out a rain of Holy Light Arrows. The arrows landed straight in the wound on the dragon’s abdon.
The attack was not over for the unlucky Dark Dragon. Its demise had just begun!
It had just tilted its body to avoid the Church’s next wave of Holy Light Arrows when it was hit by the Beastn’s powerful rain of harpoons. If this was an ordinary day, it would have been able to avoid the attack with its ultra-fast speed. However, it was not able to do so due to its severe injuries. Even though it managed to avoid a large portion of the harpoons, its abdon still suffered from heavy impacts.
Faced with the continuous rain of attacks from the various factions, the injured Dark Dragon flailed its tail, using its last burst of energy to fly out of the group’s radius. Left without any other choice, it flew straight toward Yang Ling’s location, flying lower and lower before finally crashing into the ground, its blood flowing out everywhere!
“Quick, Young Master Harrison, hurry and refine the injured Dark Dragon!”
“Alright, Landa, follow !”

The Dark Dragon’s body was a trove of treasures. Its tightly knit scales were a natural armor, its skeleton able to be made into magical staffs, its Essence Crystal worth a small fortune. Looking over, Yang Ling realized that the young man with long hair was the person he had sched against in the shadows that night while he was scouting the Valenia Volcano Valley.
“Refine the injured Dark Dragon? Could they be trying to take this opportunity to turn the injured Dark Dragon into one of their zombie-like Magical Beasts?”
He did not know what the dark dicine in the hands of the young man was. It released a revolting stench he could sll even from far away. Seeing the Violent Earth Bear the young man’s side and its rigid movents, then recalling his identity and his abilities to control the corpses of Magical Beasts, Yang Ling quickly understood his intentions.
“An opportunity like this doesn’t co around twice!”
The young man with long hair was fast, but Yang Ling was faster. Seeing the heavily injured Dark Dragon, how could he bear to miss such a good opportunity to ta the creature? He silently recited the Wizard Mantra and teleported forward using the Earth Evasion Technique.
“Hehe, even if I can’t get the Divine Weapons within the relic of the giant dragon, this trip is still worth it if I ta a few Dark Dragons!”
Looking at the Dark Dragon covered in its own blood crawling on the ground, Harrison was incredibly excited. As the second son with the chance to beco the successor of the Angus family, he knew exactly how much of a benefit refining a Dark Dragon would bring him.

The various major alliances had joined forces to take action in order to enter the underground city before the sunset. The increase in their offensive capabilities was not as simple as adding one plus one!
The strong offense of the Bellimore family, coupled with the impenetrable defense of the Church and the indefensible surprise attacks of the Dark Association—the complentary partnership of the three great factions gave the Dark Dragons much trouble. Along with the Beastn and Angus family keeping them in check, the Dark Dragons were soon at a disadvantage.
Yang Ling was happy to observe the battle from the side when the Dark Dragons had the upper hand; however, seeing the various factions had joined forces to take action, and that several of the Dark Dragons were heavily injured, he naturally could not miss such a great opportunity to take advantage of the crisis.
“Brave warriors, eliminating the evil Dark Dragons in the territory is our natural responsibility, onward!”
After summoning his Magical Beast army, Yang Ling led his army to quickly advance under the na of exterminating evil, positioning themselves behind the army of the Church. The Church had a strong offense, but an even more exceptional defense. Getting into formation behind them would at least eliminate the possibility of the Dark Dragons flying at them head-on.

This way, even though there was no full-blown conflict between the two parties, the feelings of animosity would get greater and greater. Yang Ling could successfully deepen the feelings of conflict between the two parties. All he needed now was to light a fuse that would trigger the conflict!
