The poison Fae continued to use one ability after another. She tried spreading poison in gaseous form into a wide area, but it was quickly dispersed by the powerful swing of its tail, which generated a powerful gale of wind.
Then she threw liquid poison into its outer body, but the scales of the Shadow Snake were inherently resistant to it. Which also did not yield any result. Eventually, she decided to spread her poison into a wide area that will continue to corrode it, the snake kept running after her while the poison Fae continued to use whatever tactic possible to run away from the snake, she would be dead the mont she cos close to it since its not the match of the Snake physically.
Other battles were also ongoing at their own pace. The thunder fae was fighting against the tal fae. The tal fae controlled various types of tals, which would grow from the ground and turn into sharp and piercing spikes that would shoot towards the Thunder Fae. However, even in this case, the Thunder elent fae was heavily countering the tal fae.
She did control tal, but the problem with any tal property is that it conducts electricity very well, of course, it was sothing she knew all her life. It wasn’t like the high fae never fought against each other. However, there was no obvious solution to the problem unfortunately as it may be.
Sparks of heavy electricity shot out from the thunder fae, which now was ghostbound of Valtar, while it could not go into elental empowernt mode like when it was alive. It still was able to receive its own boost. The second activation of the ghost summoner skill boosted its prowess extensively by devouring the blood of the possessed body.
This boost could be said to be more powerful than the ’Elental Empowernt’ of the High Fae, which only extensively increased their control over their own innate elent.
The tal fae shot one after another, but all simply got bombarded by thunder strikes.
Sotis the thunder even reached the body of the ta,l which could be said as a major strike. Due to the ’Elental Empowernt’ turning the body of the fae itself into sothing tallic, it only makes it easier for the thunder to scorch through its body with even greater ease.
Even then, if she did not go into that mode, it would only spell her doom earlier. Of course, she wasn’t helpless, she also had a certain counterasure against her. While most tals are indeed conductive, which makes it smooth for electricity to flow through, there are certain ways that she did able to change the properties of her tal in a way that no longer electricity flow through it.
She obviously doesn’t understand the inner workings of an atom, but what she does is simply imitate her tals. A certain type of tal, which is non-conductive, prevents thunder from flowing through it. She also turned her body into a tal, which is sothing similar. There was also another saving grace of hers.
Since the possessed bodies of her sisters are unable to enter into the Empowernt mode, her thunders are considerably less powerful, though she seems to be physically much stronger. Which forced her to maintain her distance.
But that the thunder could not flow through the tals, the opposite party was forced into a disadvantageous position. The thunder fae eventually began to use brute force and fended off all of those attacks with her body since it was far more powerful.
She was able to do that for a while, but to counter that the tal fae had started to use tal constructs with sharp corners or sides. Every ti the ghostbound fended against those attacks using her physical body, she would receive cuts and wounds on her fists.
It beca obvious that only using her body would end in her eventual defeat as the fight dragged on.
After fighting in for a while she discovered a way out, when too much thunder is focused on small point and when such attacks land on the tals shooting towards her. That part becos overheated and eventually shows signs of lting down. So, when it understood that part it started to avoid the attacks made from tal spikes and other constructs. While only using its physical body when there’s no escape from a certain attack.
She continued to charge her thunder to launch one powerful attack on the body of the tal fae, which would overheat her entire body and make her paralyzed for a while. That chance would be enough for the ghostbound to its opponent. The tal fae obviously knew the overwhelming physical prowess of the possessed fae. Which is why it continued to keep its distance while fighting long-range by firing tal spikes from afar.
The ghostbound fired a concentrated arc of thunder right at the body of the tal fae when it got the perfect opportunity, and what happened after was just as predicted. Her body overheated instantly since it was now basically made of non-conductive tal.
It even showed signs of lting, but it was clearly not enough to kill her. Yet, in that state, she was unable to think anything or move her body since the overheated state simply stopped her body from functioning in any way, only for a brief period, but that itself was enough. The ghostbound thunder fae shot forward at the tal fae with all her physical might. It only took 1 second for it to shorten the gap, and afterward, she threw a punch mixed with thunder power with all her might.
On the way to this place, Valtar had commanded the 2 ghostbound fae to use their elents internally when the situation calls for it. Since a ghostbound at the stage of pathwalker was quite smart, it did not need any further instruction and understood its master’s intent. The thunder fae was doing exactly that. Instead of throwing the thunder power outward, it internalized that power and mixed with a physical strike at the exact right mont.
Boooooooooooooooom!!!
A loud explosion occurred, and the body tal fae caved in at her chest and the thunder strike invaded her at the direct contact which overheated body even more, everything happened at the fraction of a second. All of it, when mixed, made her entire body explode, unable to handle all those repercussions at once.
The ghostbound was not unhard by that self-destructive action either, she used so much force that every bone in her hand had broken, while lted flesh of the tal, which now resembled lted tal, exploded everywhere, while it being the closest to the impact suffered the most. Countless pieces of lted tal shot into her body.
So small pieces even went inside of her body, which barely left her alive, not to ntion the blood boost of the ghost summoner skill had mostly drained all of her blood by now since she used a lot of it to power her last 2 thunder strikes. In the end, an unrecognizable fraction of her body remained in the last monts of consciousness. Then the ghost controlling it vanished from her body.
Valtar also knew this was sothing that would happen, there was simply no way to have his ghostbounds win against his enemies and remain alive afterward to join and help in another battle. There’s simply no way to create such advantages.
So, he had instructed all of his ghostbounds to go all out right from start without holding back. Their existence is only necessary to help him take care of the minions so that he doesn’t need to use his hidden abilities beforehand.
At the sa ti, in the fight of the Water fae vs Earth fae, it was in a sowhat stalemate.
The Earth fae used solid earth constructs to attack the water fae, but every ti, she used concentrated water to turn the water into mud. Unlike solid earth, it was difficult for her to control the mud since water was mixed with it. For that, the water fae was able to use the water molecules in it to disrupt the control of the earth elent.
Neither of them was going anywhere with this battle, and simply continued in a stalemate for a long ti. The Earth fae was also not letting her opponent get close to her since she understood her opponent’s great physical power. The water had to do sothing, and she had to do it fast since simply holding her off for the entire fight was also not an option for her. When the duration of her blood boost runs out, the ghostbound will end up dead, but the Earth will still be alive, simply weakened. She had to complete the task given by her master.
So, she simply decided to brute force her way through the earth constructs. She would be hard considerably, but even at that cost, if she can destroy her opponent it would be more than enough. She decided to exact that.
