The guide car stopped beside a rainbow-colored building.

Bai Wushang endured the pain in his muscles as he quickly walked over.

This place was the Mountain and Sea Academy’s public canteen, with five floors.

The aroma of food greeted Bai Wushang when he pushed the glass door open. Bai Wushang sniffed, and he could sll the fragrance of fried chicken, honey, and licorice. His stomach started to growl.

After training for the entire morning, he was already famished!

Looking around, it was a circular space with a wide field of vision.

Humans and beasts could be seen everywhere, shuttling back and forth between the windows, choosing the dishes.

It was Bai Wushang’s first ti here, so he roughly browsed the area.

Windows 1-90 sold pet beasts’ food. There was a wide variety, and the prices were reasonable. So, there were many people buying them.

Especially the at products, which were basically slaughtered live. So even sold live animals to et the needs of all kinds of pet beasts.

Windows 91-100 sold Masters’ als. There were mainly three grades: standard als, special als, and secret als.

The standard als were almost identical to the takeout als in the gold coin store. They were delicious enough for ordinary people and even lower-level Masters.

Special als were suitable for Peak Spiritualist Masters and Soul Servant Masters as they could provide sufficient nutrition.

As for secret als, they were for senior students. Each al cost 5 to 20 points of mystic energy. Bai Wushang took a glance and skipped it.

“Hello, a special al.”

Bai Wushang didn’t have any burden.

Food was one of the privileges he had during the first three months as a freshman.

As soone with Level S talent, Bai Wushang could claim a special al daily, saving him tens to hundreds of gold coins.

“From now on, I’ll eat this al every day. It’ll be nutritious enough...”

Carrying the tal plate, he went straight to the second floor.

There was no public area to sit in the canteen. Instead, hundreds of individual dining rooms were prepared.

That was to prevent unnecessary conflicts and disputes when pet beasts ate.

The most classic example was when a pet beast contracted by Master A appeared on Master B’s dining table...such kind of situation was very common. So, to avoid awkwardness and chaos, the academy had set up isolated dining rooms.

“Dong Dong Dong!”

Bai Wushang knocked on a door according to the number that Mu Xiaoxiao had sent him.

“Brother Wushang! You’re too slow!” Mu Xiaoxiao said angrily, “The afternoon class is about to start. If you still don’t co, we’ll be leaving!”

“Sorry, sorry...I was too engrossed in training and ended up coming late.”

Bai Wushang took the initiative to admit his mistake. He looked up and was slightly stunned.

A light purple dress that reached her knees and revealed her slender calves.

That was in line with Mu Xiaoxiao’s style of dressing. She looked innocent but also adorable and playful.

However, her black hair, which usually hung naturally on her shoulders, was now tied into a ponytail.

Her entire aura had gained a hint of sharpness and heroism.

“It’s been more than ten days since we last t. You’ve changed quite a fair bit.”

Bai Wushang looked up and down and could not help but comnt.

“Hehe, it’s convenient to move around like this!”

Mu Xiaoxiao instantly bead. She pulled a person beside her over and introduced him to Bai Wushang, “This is Yi Wei, a teammate I t during the trial.”

“Thanks to her, I was able to last until the end and was not eliminated.”

“Hello.”

Bai Wushang greeted her while observing her.

She wore a white shirt and blue pants, with a pair of beige ponytails.

Her eyes were bright, and her cheeks were slightly flushed. She was a little shy.

If Mu Xiaoxiao was the typical example of a sweet and playful girl, then this girl looked tender, like an unripe green apple.

“Beep beep~”

A strange purple-black bird half a ter tall was hanging upside down on her belt. Its tiny eyes were looking up at Bai Wushang as it called out.

Its main body was like a mouse, but it had wings.

Short neck with broad chest and shoulders and its entire body was covered with fine and dense fur.

Its exterior color was darker, while its inner lighter.

It was a bat!

“Senior...Senior Bai!” Yi Wei stamred. Her gaze was shifting, and she was a little nervous.

Mu Xiaoxiao wrinkled her nose. “Aiya, Wei Wei, why are you so shy when seeing strangers? Relax!”

“O-okay!” Yi Wei lowered her head and stared at her toes as she said weakly.

“Hiss...”

A brownish-green transcendent creature tugged at the hem of Mu Xiaoxiao’s dress and poked its head out.

“Eh, you actually contracted a Tree Spirit?”

“That’s right!” Mu Xiaoxiao revealed a hint of excitent. “I caught it myself. How is it?”

Bai Wushang raised his eyebrows, feeling slightly surprised.

The little fellow was one ter tall, with a cone-like shape. It looked like a tree trunk at first glance.

On the surface of its body, there was not a single spot that was smooth. The tree patterns were crisscrossed and covered in scattered green sprouts, full of vitality.

It had hands and feet, similar to a human. However, it was dry and long, with vine leaves at the tip. When it swayed, it would make a soft rustling sound.

Just then, it was using its big green eyes to observe Bai Wushang curiously.

After pondering for a few seconds, Bai Wushang nodded slowly.

“It’s pretty good. Control and defense are perfect for you.”

“Yes, yes, yes!” Mu Xiaoxiao’s eyes were smiling as if she had opened a chatterbox. “I worked with Wei Wei’s Mystifying Bat and defeated many monsters...”

Seated down, Bai Wushang ate while listening to Mu Xiaoxiao’s description of her trial process.

Compared to Bai Wushang’s experience, Mu Xiaoxiao and Yi Wei’s experience from eting to working together to the end was relatively calm.

The Tree Spirit was a rare spiritual-type transcendent creature. With its [Natural Affinity], it could display more than 120% of its strength in forests and other places where vegetation was abundant.

It was good at defense and control. It even had a skill called [Nature’s Protection], which allowed it to temporarily rge with trees and disappear.

As for the Mystifying Bat, it had a small and exquisite size. But its lethality was not low.

It was best at speed. It was a standard agility-type transcendent creature with a unique sound wave ability. Whether it was used to detect or surprise the enemy, it could be considered to have a wide range of uses.

The two pet beasts cooperated and were indeed very compatible. They would have the ability to fight against a late stage youth form.

After talking about herself, Mu Xiaoxiao tilted her head and glanced at the little rabbit sleeping on Bai Wushang’s chest. She did not bear to disturb it and was eager to ask another question instead, “Brother Wushang, what pet beast have you contracted? Quickly summon it and show us!”
