Capítulo 933: Chapter 782: Juno and the Dried Fish Snack (Part 2)
“I want to collect all the cards and then banish them from this world, I want it to return to its original state, but it sounds so troubleso, like I have to go far away, actually lying down is more comfortable…”
“Deal.”
The Salted Fish Girl was trying to persuade herself to give up when suddenly she got a definite answer.
A sowhat normal Tang Qi flashed a charming smile at the girl, extending a hand, seeming to finally rember his manners, and gently asked, “Tell your na, my Spirit Summoner lord.”
“Juno.”
The sudden radiance emitted by Tang Qi montarily stunned the Salted Fish Girl, and she couldn’t help but answer.
But soon, she broke free from that charming smile, reverted to her salted fish nature, and muttered, “You can’t smile at like that again, dating is such a hassle, especially when you’re an Exotic Realm creature, who knows what your body is really like, it could be a dragon, or a stinky giant beast.”
“If you really want to experience a human-monster romance, I can take you to my school, those swooning girls will go crazy for you, but I just want to lie down.”
“Thunk”
The self-indulgent Salted Fish Girl finally received a flick on the forehead from Tang Qi.
The girl yelped in pain, just about to shout, when suddenly two “bang bang” sounds ca from above their heads, and the ceiling shook, dust drifting down, accompanied by a loud voice.
“Juno, what are you doing hiding in the basent again, we’re out of bread at ho, go out and buy so or you won’t have dinner.”
“And you, Alisa, get that slly boy out of my house, taking advantage of my daughter and expecting to eat my als, dream on.”
“FXXX, keep smoking and we’ll get a divorce, you fat pig.”
With the booming voice, and the information it carried, an unprecedented sense of reality surged forth.
Tang Qi felt as if he had returned to sser City, the person stamping upstairs had a style very similar to Sally’s mom, even more fierce.
But Sally and Juno are two completely different types of girls.
The latter, like a zombified creature with no bones, arduously crawled up from the sofa, turned around, and said to Tang Qi:
“Wanna go find the first opponent? If you’re really powerful, maybe we’ll finish collecting the cards and still make it back in ti for dinner, my mom’s beef patties are very tasty.”
As Juno spoke, the old TV set, which Tang Qi had infused with life, emitted its final radiance, automatically revealing the first opponent they were to seek.
A familiar electric current sound passed, and the image of a golden-haired young man in armor, with handso features exuding prince-like charm, appeared in the center of the screen.
Juno, who was about to ascend the stairs, suddenly froze.
Just when Tang Qi was compelled to question his own charm, he quickly found solace in the TV narration.
“New King State, the Guardian is Prince William.”
“He is not a real prince, but he forces the citizens to call him Prince. Besides, he is an extrely persistent harem party mber, and he is building a Golden Palace, inviting marriage proposals from all over the state, with over ten thousand eligible won already applying, hoping to enter his palace.”
“He possesses a total of thirty cards, the strongest card is a Monster Type Forbidden Card called ‘Sleeping Golden Scales,’ an Exotic Realm Golden Dragon, the rest of the cards are mostly [other categories].”
During the introduction, the screen directly projected the complete view of an exquisitely designed card.
The design at the center of the card was a giant dragon lying on a pile of gold, looking down at those outside the card with an arrogant, bloodthirsty gaze.
Juno’s eyes sparkled slightly, looking towards her angel envoy Tang Qi.
Already quite familiar with his role as a “Spirit Summoner,” Tang Qi instantly grasped Juno’s aning.
He waved his hand and helplessly said, “Yes, I know, he has a dragon, I will help you snatch it.”
The two reached a consensus and, under the girl’s lead, walked out of the basent.
While downstairs, through the various noises, Tang Qi, without eting them, already knew the composition of Juno’s family mbers in advance.
Two still living parents, one sister currently in a relationship.
Exiting the basent, the two parties imdiately t.
Through the narrow, cluttered passageway, Tang Qi t eyes with a woman in the kitchen, a plump, bald middle-aged man in the living room, and a couple at the entrance passionately embracing and exchanged glances.
Inevitably, Juno’s family saw her erging from the basent with a young man, and they all went into petrification without exception.
Having now been promoted to “Spirit Summoner,” Juno had no intention of offering any explanation, and while passing through the living room, she picked up a golden piggy bank and then headed towards the door.
“I’ll be back for dinner. We have guests tonight, and I want so beef pie.”
Dropping this stream-of-consciousness remark, the girl left ho with Tang Qi.
Just stepping out of the house, Tang Qi and Juno simultaneously looked up towards the distant sky.
This is the capital of New King State, forcibly renad as “Prince City,” a large tropolis.
At this mont, above the central part of the city, towering over all other buildings are three adjacent structures, and above them, an extrely luxurious “Golden Palace” exuding an aura of wealth shines like a golden sun, blinding all the residents of this city.
Obviously, the owner of that palace is the strongest Spirit Summoner in this state, the so-called Guardian who stands above all the citizens.
Juno, who had just been promoted to Spirit Summoner, along with the Angel Envoy she summoned, simultaneously expressed their impressions of the Golden Palace.
“It looks really nice, lying in there must be very comfortable.”
“So pretentious and such bad taste.”
On a plaza paved entirely with gold bricks, there was a very long queue.
And the ones in line were all of the sa type of people.
Beauties, all of them were beautiful won aged eighteen to twenty-sothing.
They looked excited and expectant, while also being quite hostile toward other beauties around them.
“Prince William is a mber of the Harem Party, but the fewer competitors, the better. Ideally, they’d all be so uglier freaks, as I should be the true mistress of this beautiful palace.”
This was the prevailing thought Tang Qi perceived when he and Juno descended onto the plaza.
The next second they stood still, attracting a lot of attention, the newly-minted Salted Fish Girl Spirit Summoner didn’t have ti to greet the beauties before she was subjected to a lot of personal attacks.
Beauties from all over New King State, each with their unique charms, first scrutinized the inexplicably erging newcor. After sensing she posed no threat, so of the beauties couldn’t hold back and started mocking.
If it were a world where normal logic existed, even personal attacks would mostly be muttered secretly.
But here, the beauties spoke clearly without any hint of reservation.
“Oh look, there’s a super ugly creature.”
“Look at the freckles on her face, doesn’t her family have a mirror, poor thing.”
“Ah, my eyes, they’re polluted, what kind of dress is that, even my grandma wouldn’t wear it, did she pick it up from a trash pile?”
“Eh? Can soone tell which side is her front and which is her back?”
“Her aura reminds of my full-blooded cat’s most hated dried sardine, so salty.”
…
Tang Qi fancied himself a sharp-tongued player, but at this mont, he felt he lost.
When descending upon the Golden Palace with Juno, Tang Qi had once again transford into the “Mysterious King Card,” per Juno’s request.
Although she’s a salted fish Spirit Summoner, she still maintained a three-minute enthusiasm which made her feel that her Angel Envoy needed a formal appearance scene.
Tang Qi suddenly felt fortunate for listening because otherwise, he too would have been attacked.
Transford into a card, Tang Qi’s perception remained unaffected.
So at this mont, he could fully feel that the usually indifferent Salted Fish Girl was now harboring a new emotion called Anger.
A faint but distinct magical aura surged from within Juno.
At her feet, a magic array automatically ford.
The projection of Tang Qi as the “Mysterious King Card” floated in front of Juno.
The Salted Fish Girl, fingers pinching the card, for the first ti wore a fierce expression, glaring at the group of beauties who lost their charm, and spat out what she considered the most terrifying threat, word by word.
“I’m going to turn you all into… little! dried! fish!”
