Capítulo 820: Chapter 689: The Eagle Scholar’s Entry Test

While the Molten Furnace Wizards were going through their slightly altered daily routines, their “leader” was completing a task requiring extre strength.

In fact, last night when the Molten Furnace Wizards began their hunting training, Tang Qi, or rather the real Tang Qi, had already arrived at a special place, officially taking up another position at the official “Holy Eagle Nest Society”.

Within Iniki State, known as “Cowboy State”, there was a dangerous active volcano nad “Anglo Mountain”, a famous site of the Federation, around which a national park had been developed, attracting a large number of tourists each quarter.

At this mont, as the tourists were experiencing the unique scenery of the Anglo National Park,

Down the crater, in the endless, turbulent magma, there was a structure like a circular fortress or so sort of chanical castle, operating steadily while constantly absorbing the violent energy released from the depths of the volcano. The white steam made the building seem like an ancient monster exhaling breath.

Deep inside the chanical castle, figures hustled busily, with loud roars and even curses echoing incessantly.

Among the staff mbers, only a minority were humans, while the majority were extraordinary abnormalities, akin to legendary dwarfs, hairy all over but with robust humanoid forms, or simply so taurine humanoids.

However, whether human or monster, a shared characteristic of working here seed to be a temperantal nature.

Here, both male humans and female monsters held explosive power within their bodies.

At that mont, all sounds were overshadowed by a blasting noise.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

The core part of the chanical fortress resembled a “spherical ring” magnified many tis. The chanical arms, intricately combined, bore nurous mystical runes that glowed fiercely while rolling within the magma.

These were extracting the magma’s energy, transforming it into dazzling beams injected into a gyroscopic-like device at the center.

Beneath the device, a human youth with his upper body bare was wielding a massive iron hamr, pounding on a bizarre object on the workstation. It appeared like a pool of fiery red molten iron but seed to have a life of its own, constantly wriggling and even trying to attack Tang Qi who hamred it.

It followed so procedure, attempting to escape the mold.

However, unfortunately, every escape attempt was t with an unreserved hamr blow from Tang Qi.

Focused intently, Tang Qi hamred without regard for the increasing crowd of onlookers.

Most of them, bearded and resembling dwarfs, initially held disdain for Tang Qi, the “human pretty boy,” but this quickly vanished before his demonstrated skill and power.

In place of disdain was amazent.

Especially not far from the workstation, seven or eight dwarfs and half-beasts, holding similarly large hamrs and ready to take over at any mont, stared wide-eyed as Tang Qi hamred precisely at the weak points of the object each ti.

At the front, a muscle-bound bull-like monster mumbled loudly:

“Who told this guy’s real identity is a wizard? Moreover, a polymath? Co over here and take a good look, who has seen such a polymath? Did he store all his knowledge in his muscles?”

Unaware he was being mocked, Tang Qi suddenly paused his hamring.

Yet the large iron hamr remained poised in the air.

Before him, a seemingly plain black-grey longsword lay in the huge mold.

“It seems… it’s finished?”

Just as the onlookers had this thought, a sudden transformation occurred.

The longsword went berserk without warning, with a countless number of black iron spikes erupting. The area suddenly beca extrely perilous. Each iron spike’s tip glead with a terrifying ghost light capable of piercing anything, making the seven or eight dwarfs and half-beasts feel as if their bodies were penetrated by thousands of iron spikes.

An unbearable pain swept through their minds.

However, the illusion quickly dissipated.

Boom!

The final hamr fell from the air.

The area seed to slow intentionally, with the terrifying myriad iron spikes bursting forth in brilliance, trying to stop the hamr from descending, but unfortunately, their forces were not on the sa level. The spikes montarily froze, then all retracted.

A burst of intense brilliance surged out. Everyone clearly saw that the once ordinary longsword now bore so innate, strange patterns as the iron spikes retracted one after another, with motifs of lightning, flas, horns… each seemingly representing a kind of extraordinary power.

Ultimately, a wondrous longsword, instantly coveted by anyone who saw it, was born under the hamr.

Tang Qi casually set down the hamr, his gaze naturally fixated ahead, and information fragnts surged in his mind.

“Curios: An unnad high-level extraordinary longsword, forged by a highly skilled ‘Artifact Forger.’ Its main materials include Exotic Black Star Stone, Thunder Iron Tree Heart, and Underground Magma Essence. Due to its primary material, the Black Star Stone, having biological characteristics, it possesses partial intelligence. Using it requires obtaining its acknowledgnt first.”

“It possesses two basic characteristics: hardness and sharpness; it’s difficult to destroy, capable of cutting through most materials. It carries the power of lightning, flas, and a certain sound wave force, adapting to most combat environnts.”

“Not bad!”

Tang Qi reluctantly praised, then reached out his hand.

The longsword, which released a terrifying edge in the eyes of others, behaved obediently like a child the mont Tang Qi touched it.

With a casual wave or two, Tang Qi handed it to his side, to the three staff mbers who appeared out of nowhere, two carrying a forest-white iron box, and the other holding a docunt, recording sothing.

“My first work in the ‘craftsman’ role; it even tried to kill during casting. Why not call it… the Rebel Sword?”

The mont Tang Qi uttered the na, both the longsword about to be put into the iron box and the surrounding crowd couldn’t help but feel a sense of absurdity.

Especially the two staff holding the sword, feeling the will transmitted from the sword: “This na is terrible!”

The two each sent a soothing thought, then put it into the iron box.

“The iron law of the Mysterious Side: the Artifact Forger, craftsman, or any other such Professional, has naming rights over any Curios they create, which not even Divine beings can usurp. The Curios themselves have no say, even if they are intelligent Curios.”

With the casting completed, the others silently dispersed.

The recording staff was a girl with dark skin, spider tattoos all over her body.

She hesitated for a mont upon hearing the na but followed the procedure, writing at the bottom of the detailed record: “This Curios has been nad by its caster — the new craftsman, Advanced mber Tang Qi; its na is ‘Rebel Sword’.”

Once the process was completed, everyone but the spider-tattooed girl, who licked her lips while gazing at Tang Qi’s upper body before leaving, quickly dispersed.

As staff, they all had their own jobs to attend to.

And as they scattered, news quickly spread within the fortress of the Holy Eagle Nest’s “craftsman” organization, known as “Anglo chanical City.”

Within minutes, most craftsn, Artifact Forgers, and others in the Eagle’s Nest Association knew a strong individual capable of independently crafting high-level wonders had joined the craftsman organization, moreover, a human, a wizard, a polymath.

Tang Qi took a towel from his dwarf assistant with a furry big beard, wiping his non-existent sweat, donned his wizard robe again, and faced the familiar figure who appeared directly from a Void Gate, an elderly black man in a snow-white suit.

“Chadwick?”

Tang Qi looked at the suddenly appearing Lord Chairman, with a tone of doubt.

The newcor, a kindly elderly black man who always smiled, one of the five chairn of the Eagle’s Nest, and the current Clan Leader of the Federation’s top noble Morgan family, Chadwick Morgan.

The last ti they dealt together was to handle that Devouring Beast.

Also, during that ti, Tang Qi agreed to Chadwick Morgan and another chairman Federation General Edward Clark’s invitation to beco a mber of the Eagle’s Nest’s affiliated craftsman organization.

Just a day ago, Tang Qi agreed to another invitation; he decided to join the core organization of the Eagle’s Nest: the “Eagle Scholar.”

This was the choice he made after consideration.

He created “Tang Qi No. 2” to train a batch of powerful lter Wizards as future support.

He himself would also continue to digest Divinity, engage in dangerous ditation, and recruit more Mysterious Wizard followers… Predictably, his strength was growing more powerful every mont.

After the “Origin Divine Race Event” last occurred, Tang Qi joined another plan.

He decided to enhance his accumulation of mysticism knowledge and study his “All-Knowing” to find a way to improve it.

Originally, he could have accepted Rose Madeline’s invitation to beco a disciple of that Permanent Neutral, Ancient Observer, quickly becoming an advisor to major Extraordinary Organizations. In terms of knowledge accumulation, this was the fastest route.

But when making his choice, he inexplicably felt a strong unease.

This almost instinctive premonition made him ultimately abandon this option and turn to accept Chadwick’s invitation to beco an “Eagle Scholar” of the Eagle’s Nest.

To so extent, as a core mber of the Eagle’s Nest, the mysterious events and mysticism knowledge each Eagle Scholar could access were not much less than Rose Madeline’s role as consultant to major organizations.

Of course, to beco a core mber, regardless of one’s origins before joining, one needs to undergo an initiation test.

The elderly black man Chadwick Morgan discerned Tang Qi’s doubt, clearly puzzled why he personally delivered the initiation materials.

Chadwick smiled, did not explain in detail, and handed over a stack of docunts marked “Top Secret.” In that mont, the space they occupied seed twisted by so force, making any prying eyes unable to see clearly.

In this space, Chadwick’s gentle voice sounded: “Tang, I need your help.”
