Chapter 722: Chapter 618: Engineer and the Sun Core 4000 words!
If it was just about resisting “digestion,” Tang Qi could hold out for a long ti.
But now it was different, if he were overwheld by those hundreds of thousands of tentacles, he would imdiately “enjoy” the fate Samuel Winston suffered initially, and even more tragically, he and the three little guys would be squeezed among countless tentacles, constantly being gnawed and ground down.
Even though he had the “Guardian Spell,” the depletion of Divine Power would double.
“Can’t take risks!”
In this mont, Tang Qi instinctively suppressed his own action that was verging on self-destruction.
In the absence of firm confidence or control over advantageous information, actively undertaking risky actions usually doesn’t end well.
This is the dark, peculiar Extraordinary World, not so passionate animated series.
In a flash of thought, Tang Qi was about to make a decision.
The flood, too, was nearly upon him.
His mind was imrsed in the projection of the Master of the Crucible, ready to use the nine Sun rits he had painstakingly excavated and sacrificed to exchange for a Curio capable of killing or severely injuring the Devouring Beast.
Just at this mont, an accident occurred in the outside world.
Below the circular structure of the Holy Eagle Nest Mountain, within the darkness and Nihility.
The exhausted-looking African-Arican elder, “Chadwick Morgan,” the Chairman, was witnessing the Devouring Beast eating itself. He was about to make another move, although he also understood that the power left in him was rely like tickling the beast.
Just as the radiance of Thunder was about to flash from his hand, a thick, hairy palm suddenly reached out from the darkness, stopping his motion.
Following this, a towering man over two ters tall appeared.
He had imnsely exaggerated muscles, was dressed in a custom-made military uniform of a General, draped in a wide, thick cape. His face, scarred like rock, bore the marks of countless wars and nurous torturous experiences.
The most striking feature was the bright red scar on his head, faintly sketching out the symbol of the Divine Eagle on the Eagle’s Nest Badge.
This big man, apparently a Federation General, stopping the African-Arican elder from taking action.
Behind him, several figures erged, collectively holding a massive silver-white box.
After quickly fiddling with the box, it opened.
Inside lay a solitary gauntlet.
Purely cast from so tal, seemingly due to the erosion of powers over the extended period, it was covered in mossy green rust and so mysterious, blood-like red stains, beneath which lay dense mysterious engravings.
In the center of the engravings, there were finely crafted grooves, each inset with dark red fractured gemstones.
Its volu was enormous, unsuitable for humans, only fitting for a giant.
But at this mont, this big man of evidently equal status as the African-Arican elder, straightforwardly inserted his unusually large hand into the tal gauntlet.
“Boom!”
It was as if a switch of so force was turned on, and at that mont, it explosively unleashed.
Although the senior researchers of the Eagle’s Nest Association left swiftly, they still were affected to so extent.
Even the African-Arican elder had to step back.
Then, watching as the giant tal gauntlet dramatically shrank, as if tailor-made for the General, it tightly fit his palm.
A dark red glow burst from the tal gauntlet, like a fierce tide, wave after wave, spreading in all directions.
“Ah”
Clearly a tough bald-headed General, but now he let out a painful roar.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
The dark void was thunderously resounded by the stomping of the General.
Like a storm, in the blink of an eye, the heavy cape unfurled, a tall human figure appeared in front of the Devouring Beast, and despite the size difference, which was still like a giant beast versus an ant in front of ordinary people, the Federation General now seed pathetically small.
The next mont, this “ant” threw a punch.
Boom!
Ti and space both experienced a bizarre pause.
That all-engulfing tal gauntlet, its rust and blood stains began peeling away without notice, those patterns, those gemstones in the grooves, all released intense radiance.
In the darkness, accompanied by a roar, a giant figure as massive as the Devouring Beast erged, its right hand clenched in a fist, wearing a gauntlet like a Divine Artifact.
The pause instantly turned into fast-forward.
As if a segnt of mory was lost, what everyone saw the next mont directly beca the outco.
The Devouring Beast was struck by a punch, its originally tightly shut Big Mouth was now forcibly opened to the extre, different this ti as it resulted from imnse force tearing its white fascia, a gaping hole exposing flesh and eyeballs imdiately appeared, the invisible Great Power penetrated its massive body.
Then, the next mont, the combatants of the Eagle’s Nest Association all saw.
The world-ending “Devouring Beast,” like a battered “atball,” its flesh and severed tentacles trembled and surged, the greatly split Big Mouth began vomiting saliva and Food, which included a large number of tentacles and even more nurous corpses.
Yet it was strange, inside there was neither the “Curios” nor corpses imbued with Extraordinary Power, which contradicted the recorded attributes of the Devouring Beast.
But at that mont, no one had the ti to investigate.
The General who punched the Devouring Beast until it vomited, after releasing the force of the punch, was imdiately enveloped by fiery red hot Steam, his arm, and even half his body showed extensive burns and muscle tearing.
