Chapter 696: Chapter 599: Tang Qi’s Choice_2

Under such a backdrop, non-believers only found it glaring, but the nurous believers felt peaceful and happy as they followed the chanting and hastened the kingdom’s arrival once more.

When “Charles I” was pierced through his human skin by Sims, revealing the filth inside, the process was abruptly interrupted.

But soon, as if sensing sothing, Charles I, who had clearly lost his self, hooked the corners of his lips with a fierce curvature. In his originally indifferent eyes, an evil light erged, as if he had done sothing.

On top of the heads of the believers, a dim radiance fell, making the dark, filthy aura within extrely distinct.

All believers practically rose at the sa ti.

Their bodies beca filthy, their flesh squirming; their faces turned into expressions of pain, distorted, as their slowly opening eyes filled with resentnt. They slowly opened their mouths; thick, gray-black saliva, like pus, trickled down from the corners of their mouths.

What they were about to do next, all the big shots had anticipated.

The scenes that occurred inside the Light Church were rely a rehearsal.

On the fourth floor of the Library Tower, Tang Qi’s hands trembled inexplicably, his eyes reflecting a look as if a “great misfortune” that had always been there was finally verified, which is why he quickly cald down after his initial shock.

At this mont, what surfaced in his mind was a look exchanged with the “Holy Prophet” just before his death.

It was that gaze that caused Tang Qi to delay until now without taking action. Before Sims had arrived, Tang Qi had had several opportunities to fulfill the prophecy, to deliver the Thorny Law Code to “Rafael,” to help him regain his self and beco the true “Lord of Thorns.”

But he held back every ti, and at this mont, he was still forcefully restraining his impulse, forcibly turning away from the looming massacre disaster that was about to sweep across the Origin Star, and not looking back at the Secret Realm falling into “crisis” again. His gaze resettled on the Thorny Sky Tower, with the magic portal in front of him becoming more solidified.

“Prophecy is just a prophecy, I only have one chance.”

As Tang Qi struggled, the “big shots” on the Mysterious Side were almost going mad.

They certainly hadn’t expected that an “internal war” among the Light Camp to evolve into a global disaster at this mont.

Once those bright believers who had turned into “zombies” were unleashed, the entire Origin Star would be destroyed, as reflected in the gleeful yet imnsely shocked jibe of the “Second Rotten Head” at this mont:

“Could it be that Charles I is the most mysterious First Rotten Head of our organization? If he succeeds, the records of deaths caused by the Blood Mud War and Black Death Plague created by the Ninth and the Third will be crushed.”

“Quick, stop the Bright Believers.”

“Initiate the highest war alert, authorizing the use of all Contained Objects.”

The big shots roared, about to employ various ans to salvage this suddenly erupted global-scale disaster.

On the Thorny Sky Tower, Martin Sims was dying; his body, composed of starlight and Jason, now saw the starlight steadily fading, Jason’s body reerging before disappearing. Sims did not continue mocking the contaminated “Lord of Light.”

His gaze seed to penetrate all obstacles, looking towards the figure about to step into the magic portal.

He slightly bowed, lowering his head, seemingly expressing his “adoration,” and then transford into a stream of starlight, returning to the dazzling star-filled sky with one last faint yet tenacious persuasive voice.

“Rafael!”

Jason fell from the starlight, still maintaining his half-man, half-sheep body, instinctively shouting toward Rafael, who was still “bound” by his side.

At this mont, Rafael was in an abnormal state.

He was still a mortal, surrounded by Holy Thorns, radiating the Supre Divinity’s Divine Radiance, yet he could not use any great power; his expression was confused, pondering while looking towards the rotten Thorny Kingdom through the passage, observing the mutated gods still imrsed in the slaughtering.

And when the bright believers across the whole Origin Star beca contaminated, he seed to beco sowhat lucid, frowning and looking towards Charles I, who was raising both hands high, receiving the incredibly thick, filthy Divine Aura falling from the “gap” above his head.

He no longer concealed himself.

Everyone realized at heart that the “Master’s” incarnation on Earth was a “Fallen Avatar.”

No one knew to what extent the “Light” had fallen, but without a doubt, this avatar would not bring order and light to humanity; what he brought was only destruction and chaos.

“Holy Prophet is dead!”

“Holy Confessor is also dead!”

“Who else can stop Him, if Lord of Thorns fails to reincarnate, He will be killed… The world will fall into chaos, and among the All Spirits above ‘Mystery’, one more ‘Sovereign’ of the Chaotic Camp will erge.”

Amidst these tragic thoughts, Tang Qi was almost tense to the limit.

In his eyes, no other existence could be seen anymore; through a magic portal, across the vast void, he seed to be making eye contact with “Rafael”, an extrely rare occasion where Tang Qi could not keep calm—unlike any event he ever faced before.

Although Tang Qi was extrely powerful at this mont, he was facing an internal war between the “Thorns” and “Light”, two Dominator-level gods, which also involved the terrifying secret of the Great Catastrophe sweeping through all gods.

If he truly beca a god, stepping in recklessly without any preparation, it would be no different from seeking death.

He followed his instincts and the sanity he struggled to maintain at this mont; if the glimr of hope he wished to see did not appear, the final choice Tang Qi would make was not to sacrifice himself; he might use his current power to protect those he cared about.

With his power as the Sovereign of the “Dream Kingdom”, it was already sufficient.

But at this mont, he still hadn’t given up hope.

Tang Qi clenched his fists, whispering softly:

“I am also human, I am not a god.”

“Rafael, if you really are ‘Thorns’, rember, rember one thing.”

“The world needs Order, the world needs Thorns…”

As Tang Qi whispered, at the summit of the Sky-reaching Tower, before the open portal of the Thorny Kingdom, Rafael, bound by chains, shackles, and long nails… and other torture tools, suddenly at this mont, the confusion on his face gradually faded, replaced by an aura that evoked deep reverence from the soul.

The chains transford from the Pope’s Robe snapped, the shackles transford from the Bright Heavy Crown turned into dust, and the long nails stained with Holy Blood fell off…

A pure, Supre Divinity of Radiance burst forth from Rafael.

He slightly bowed, as if to admonish the world.

Boom!

As this scene unfolded, everyone was shocked and overwheld.

“Thorns, about to return?”

As this thought exploded in the hearts of the crowd, Charles I moved.

At this mont, He was “shedding skin”.

The holy human skin was slowly peeling off, revealing a Dark World made up of constantly writhing, polluted flesh and blood, very vividly.

He harbored an indissoluble hatred towards Rafael, or “Thorns”.

The “Sword of Punishnt”, now utterly filthy, slashed straight toward Rafael who was about to successfully reincarnate and regain his true self.

On the fourth floor of the Library Tower, Tang Qi, who was trembling all over at this mont, now had a face full of joy.

Without any hesitation, his figure stepped into the magic portal.

Before leaving, Tang Qi happened to see several items placed on his workbench; a stack of beautifully written registers, a badge representing the “Principal” and the Witch Leader, and an utterly ordinary flower pot.

At that mont, in the flower pot, a piece of bare branch, which was initially bare, began to sprout green shoots. In the blink of an eye, it wildly grew into a sturdy, verdant, and unimaginably giant ancient tree that descended over the entire Lake Heart Island Secret Realm.

In the indescribably vibrant green radiance, dozens of familiar female figures at this mont were about to descend.
