Chapter 690: Chapter 595 All Gods Out of Control

As an “Observer,” Tang Qi watched Charles I carry out the execution, watching the respected Holy Prophet beheaded before him.

He was tempted to intervene, even on the verge of doing so.

But at that mont, Tang Qi felt a “Binding,” not from any other power, but from the Holy Prophet’s power close at hand. After “Jero” spoke, whether it was the Holy Thorn Tentacles he controlled or his body in the Lake Heart Island Secret Realm, neither could make any move.

Although this binding lasted only half a second, it was enough.

When Tang Qi recovered from the unknowable power of the “Truth Telling Skill,” what he saw was the crimson blood, spraying from the old man’s body like a fine rain, like a stream, falling among the Holy Thorns in the already wildly spreading Thorny Sky Tower.

The next mont, it directly went berserk.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

It seed like endless Holy Thorns spread out from the void, intertwining and growing crazily towards the starry sky, towards the heavens.

Suddenly, Tang Qi felt a tingle, that “eyeball” looked downward, the thick, spiky thorn tentacles suddenly produced incredible symbols, outlined by pristine Light, rapidly spreading and covering each Holy Thorn.

Anyone who saw those symbols, which had no repetition and were incredibly harmonious, stacked together, seed to have all their doubts answered.

At the eting point of the symbols, within the clean Radiance, a “bud”-like thing slowly ford.

“The Flower of Truth?”

This thought rose in the minds of Tang Qi and the Peeping Toms.

Bang!

Crimson footprints landed on the Thorny Sky Tower, terrifying Holy Light burst forth imdiately, effortlessly destroying many thorns; within that vast “wound”, a dismissive cold snort sounded, as Charles I holding the “Sword of Punishnt” slowly lifted the bladeless sword.

The sword tip, directly pointing to the sky above the Sky-reaching Tower, like the pondering Angel Rafael.

As the “Truth Symbol” spread crazily to the Tower Top, the scenes of “Divine History” that mortals could not directly gaze upon seed to beco clear, infinite Great Power bursting under the starry sky, right in front of Rafael, a crack appeared.

Imdiately, it turned into a portal.

“Is that…?”

The sa scene was reflected in everyone’s eyes.

It was like an ancient relic excavated from deep underground, a thorny, incomplete portal under a starlit Dark Night; countless lifeforms’ shadows flickered, an old battlefield, nurous imposing figures, giant dragons roaring, Ancient Gods bellowing… incredibly extraordinary scenes, all revolving around that rugged portal.

And the portal, at this mont, was opening.

As if “the darkest night” had seen the light, within the light, a realm beyond belief was revealed.

That realm existed in the “Mysterious.”

Inside there was no pristine Light, no fertile lands, no eternal starlight, no angels serving the Divine… what existed were rotten, desolate lands, dark, twisted thorns, and countless corpses of Divine beings, demons, giant dragons, and Exotic Realm Species entwined by thorns.

“Thorny Kingdom?”

When the Transcendents realized sothing, at the sa ti, they also saw in the depths of the realm, a sight that shocked everyone including Tang Qi and Charles I.

In the deepest part of the realm, there appeared a “pathway” surrounded by nurous rotten, black thorns; at the end of the path, was an infinite, layer upon layer accumulated Radiance, inside which was a massive, ancient but shattered battlefield.

In the midst of the battlefield, nurous figures like “giants,” and “Divine beings” still battled confusedly; they were like out of control “Zombies,” punching and biting each other, their bodies swollen and bizarre, and Tang Qi felt incredibly familiar with them.

Such existences, he had seen long ago, wandering in the “Mysterious,” devoid of self, blindly foolish, but possessing unimaginable Great Power, the “Dark Dominator” that polluted everything.

At this mont, great figures road the battlefield, fighting each other, still retaining characteristics unique to “Divine beings” on their bodies, but more so like the Dark Dominator, they had completely lost control, they were wildly mutating.

“Great Catastrophe Battlefield!”

As Tang Qi uttered these words.

A terrifying pain that struck the soul swept over unexpectedly, Tang Qi sharply closed his eyes, still unable to prevent the black Blood Tears from streaming down his cheeks, he did not need to see his body to realize, his originally perfect body instantly rotted, accompanied by a foul sll, swollen, twisted pieces of flesh and tentacles simultaneously erging.

Just before he mutated into a Monster, the Book of Nothingness in front of him suddenly emitted radiance, wisps of pitch-black gas erged from Tang Qi’s body, gradually converging on a corner of the cover, and a new “Chaos Mushroom” ford.

Tang Qi rapidly recovered, other Peeping Toms were not so fortunate.

Screams and wails rang out in various places of the Origin Star, with the Federation being the most severely affected.

Although the “Big Shots” who were observing the battle had anticipated they might be accidentally hard, seeing the “Great Catastrophe Battlefield” suddenly and witnessing the out of control, mutating gods, even still separated by the “Thorny Kingdom,” they had to pay a price.

Fortunately, those who can peep here are all powerful Transcendents, except for a few with low resistance or unprepared, unlucky individuals, the rest have implented self-rescue asures.

At the sa ti as actively rescuing themselves, images of what would co next erged in their minds:

At the top of the Thorny Sky-reaching Tower, after the portal opened, Rafael, who was in a state of “confusion,” seed to have regained so clarity.

Yet, he still paid no attention to Charles I, his focus solely on the Thorny Kingdom, on the dark thorny pathway, on the end of the pathway—the Great Catastrophe Battlefield. He slowly opened his mouth and silently mouthed a sentence.

“I’m back!”

There was no sound, but mysteriously, all the Transcendents heard this sentence.

Charles I heard it too.

He watched “Rafael” lift a foot, about to step into the portal.

Just as he made this motion, within the Great Catastrophe Battlefield, the figure closest to the outer layer of radiance that was out of control—a being with a giant’s physique but grotesquely swollen, and a body growing continuously moving limbs—was originally trying to pounce on another mutated god nearby.

But at this mont, it seed to sense sothing and violently turned back.

Bang!

A pair of rotten but imnsely powerful eyes fiercely pressed against the luminous barrier at the end of the pathway.

In those eyes, Rafael’s figure was instantly reflected.

An incredible scene ensued. This crazily mutated god, with eyes filled with pollution, briefly revealed a glimpse of “wisdom.” The rotten body began to shrink; those giant limbs turned to dust, rustling as they fell… Was it recovering because it saw Rafael?

Although in the next second, wisdom was again overwheld by foolish madness, and it continued to lose control.

But at this mont, all Transcendents understood:

“Rafael is the reincarnation of ‘Thorn,’ he wants to return to his own Divine Realm, he wants to save the gods who lost control in the last battle… Is the entire battlefield filled with gods from the rebel camp?”

As this thought arose in everyone’s mind at the sa ti, a loud noise suddenly erged from beneath the Thorny Sky-reaching Tower.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

He moved, Charles I, wielding the “Sword of Punishnt,” as if a True God walking on earth, his path turned all to dust.

Each step he took almost broke the Sky-reaching Tower.

He moved towards Rafael with terrifying speed.

The bladeless edge of the cross sword in his hand directly pointed at Rafael’s still mortal body.

A voice filled with killing intent echoed through the starry sky.

The Master said:

“Vengeance is mine; I will repay!”

Amidst Charles I’s chanting of retribution, nurous Holy Thorns tried to stop him, those “Truth Symbols” manifold materialized various tests and difficulties, trying to bind his steps forward, but every obstruction was effortlessly dissolved by him.

At this mont, the power displayed by this Pope completely plunged the observing Big Shots into despair.

No matter what they wanted to do, they dared not make a move.

Even if a hundred “Legendary Level” strong beings joined forces, they probably could not withstand a single casual swing of Charles I’s sword at this mont, each burst of Holy Light from him contained suprely mighty, Supre Divinity.

The sensitive Big Shots even noticed sothing extrely unsettling at this ti.

Charles I’s handso and cold face, had, since when, no longer shown emotions like anger, nor were there tears flowing from the corners of his eyes anymore; he had beco incredibly indifferent, extrely calm; he was losing what belonged to a human… humanity.

Atop the Sky-reaching Tower, a wilted “eyeball” could hardly peep anymore.

At this mont, what Tang Qi could feel was the enveloping, destructive Supre Divine Power; no matter where he looked, he only saw an imposing figure completely radiating Holy Light, without any details, like a true “God,” wielding the Holy Sword, slaughtering everything.

No need for Special Ability, Tang Qi instantly judged Charles I’s “State” at this mont.

“He is letting go of himself, continuously guiding the Divinity of the ‘Lord of Light’ into his body.”

“Supre Divinity will erase his self, emotions, mories, body, soul… and everything.”

“In the end, He will beco a pure Divine Containnt Body.”
