Chapter 670: Chapter 584 Revenge is Mine
Dragon Heart Castle, Library Tower fourth floor.
Tang Qi’s expression was solemn as he looked at the “Book of Nothing” in front of him, two figures were erging from it, from the nihility of dreams, gradually becoming real. During the process, Tang Qi watched the chaos mushrooms grow rapidly one after another on the Book of Nothing.
The pure divinity he had accumulated over weeks was being rapidly depleted.
Correspondingly, the pollution was intensifying.
Tang Qi knew his actions were dangerous but he proceeded regardless.
White rlin and the unicorn, both his “followers,” belonged to the creatures of the Dream Kingdom. Their descent into reality, according to the rules of the Extraordinary World, not only suppressed them but also exacted a hefty price.
Just like during the Dark Era, the most common move by the Bright Church.
When the Church’s army encountered an Evil God from the Exotic Realm that they could not resist, they would pray for a summoning, allowing the “Lord of Light” or “Lord of Thorns” to descend in the form of angels; though the angels would be weakened, the gods from the Origin Star entering would likewise be weakened.
In comparison by such rules, Tang Qi’s position now seed akin to that of a Dominator-level God.
Of course, the disparity in strength was imasurable.
Tang Qi indeed was the sovereign of the Dream Kingdom, but it was a crude, immature realm constantly defending against pollution; it held unimaginable potential yet was presently frail and vulnerable.
As another “chaos mushroom” sprouted, within the ditation Room, two glowing figures erged into reality.
Accompanied by “tap tap tap” sounds, alongside the snowy-white unicorn, rlin who looked like an old boy stepped down from the Book of Nothing, slightly bowed towards Tang Qi with reverence, and said: “My Lord, rlin presents himself.”
Behind him, the unicorn also bowed its head.
Despite being a boy, the wisdom shining from his eyes compelled even a sovereign like Tang Qi to take second glances.
However, he didn’t have much ti to waste.
rlin and the unicorn, while very real in form, could crash at any mont.
As ti passed, the mushrooms on Tang Qi’s “Book of Nothing” continued to grow.
Tang Qi let out a deep breath, gazing at rlin, calmly asked:
“Sense this world with your talent, then tell .”
“How long until the forthcoming major upheaval occurs?”
“The person triggering the disaster…”
Before Tang Qi could finish his second question, he felt a premonition, his voice shifted, continuing: “No, where will the disaster ultimately take place?”
Both questions sounded ordinary.
Tang Qi didn’t ask about the reincarnation of the Lord of Thorns nor what decisions he should make.
Because that was pointless, neither the “thorns” nor he was susceptible to divination or prophecy.
Anyone attempting to do so would not only fail to achieve results but would also suffer backlash damage.
At rada Special Education School, there were actually many who possessed divination talents and so Curios left by the witches; more crucially, on the fifth floor of the Library Tower was the forbidden zone where Ms. Taoles resided.
She possessed extrely powerful divination talents, even surpassing the First Generation rada.
Yet even so, Tang Qi didn’t seek her help.
Because he knew clearly, if he let Ms. Taoles conduct related divination as a “Consciousness Clone,” she would almost certainly have no resistance, would be struck dead instantly by the obscure powers and have no ti for recovery.
But rlin was different.
He was a “follower,” who could be resurrected in the “Dream Kingdom” even if he died.
Moreover, his prophetic ability, to so extent, was close to that of a god, a talent inherent to him since he was nad “rlin.”
“Adhering to My Lord’s will!”
“Boom!”
Almost instantaneously as rlin uttered these words, his eyes closed tight, entering the divination state.
A white, pristine radiance burst forth like a holy sun, filling every corner of the ditation Room. Amid the sowhat panicked cries of the Night Beast and the elf, rlin’s faint voice penetrated the brilliance into Tang Qi’s mind.
It was a date, significantly different from what Tang Qi had anticipated.
When the first question’s divination concluded, moving to the next question.
An unexpected change rapidly occurred; rlin and the unicorn standing by his side trembled as if penetrated by thousands of arrows, a directly descending force from nihility pierced through the barrier Tang Qi had set up, impacting rlin.
Both figures began to dissipate.
Almost simultaneously, Tang Qi watched on his “Book of Nothing,” the previously slowly growing chaos mushrooms, their growth abruptly surged, in just a blink, multiple mushrooms burst forth, spraying crazy black spores filled with pollution.
Tang Qi’s mind trembled, imdiately realizing that the second question had triggered the alarm.
This indicates that the location of the incident is crucial… The answer will allow to gain insight into the truth…
“My Lord!”
A faint voice ca, and it was rlin, looking like an old boy, step by step walking towards Tang Qi, filled with faith and reverence, his body and the unicorn behind him were quickly dissipating, they were about to die, but there was no color of sorrow or despair on rlin’s face.
Those eyes, still full of wisdom, burst into a clean radiance, accelerating the death of the man and the beast, and a blurry image swiftly entered Tang Qi’s sight, that image was of a place.
“This is…?”
Tang Qi’s pupils suddenly contracted, unable to maintain a calm expression any longer, as if seeing an incredibly horrifying, unbelievable scene, he almost couldn’t control the goosebumps forming on his skin, unable to stop a chill from spreading up from his tailbone.
As he fell into shock, the white, clean light slowly dissipated, and rlin and the unicorn disappeared, the “Book of Nothingness” spread open was almost subrged by mushrooms, whether it was the cover, back, or other places, the Chaos Mushrooms had gone through a frantic growth.
The recklessly bursting spores all fell into the “Dream Kingdom,” which caused the originally calm kingdom to imdiately descend into chaos, various monsters waking up from their slumber, and the indescribable beings from “Mystery” frenziedly devouring the spores, destroying everything beautiful.
Until in the kingdom, a stone slab shadow representing “Order” suddenly appeared, its released power pacified the chaos, the newly born “followers,” under Amanda’s lead, started to clear out the rampant pollution.
However, there was no sign of rlin and the unicorn among them.
After a while, Tang Qi recovered from the “shock,” his expression still uncertain, seemingly having realized sothing, but not daring to confirm.
A thought of impulse rose from his heart, seemingly wanting to stand up and leave the ditation room, heading straight to a certain place, but this thought was quickly suppressed and then directly shattered by him.
Tang Qi quickly realized that his current state was not good, suppressing all his thoughts.
Taking a few quick breaths, his gaze returned to the Book of Nothingness.
Ignoring the Chaos Mushrooms that had finished their growth spurt, he connected with the “Dream Kingdom” through his mind, his will arriving at Deborah Town, a familiar ball of light reappeared, inside it was the previously seen scene, a man and a beast beginning to be nurtured anew.
rlin was backlash for divining “the second question” for Tang Qi, not even having ti to return to the kingdom to hide, dying on the spot.
However, rlin, unlike Ms. Taoles or other diviners, prophets, was a “follower” of Tang Qi, as long as Tang Qi doesn’t die, he would almost never die.
After doing all this, Tang Qi looked at Amanda and other followers who were earnestly clearing the pollution, sending them an encouraging thought.
After that, he didn’t put away the Book of Nothingness, but exhaled a breath, directly operating the “lter ditation,” he needed to calm down, to recover his state.
Before entering the ruins of darkness, a date erged in Tang Qi’s mind, he furrowed his brows tightly, as if speaking to himself, or perhaps to another person, he slightly bowed his head, his deep voice sounding:
“There’s still so ti, it’s still manageable.”
…
Jiatai City, Central Cathedral.
A dim, fragrant-slling large hall, under the classical and holy aura lit wall lamps, on each side of the round archway near the inner room, stood three priests, their bodies cloaked in black robes from their necks down.
Soft footsteps ca, the six priests simultaneously bowed their heads, reverence and devotion appeared on their faces.
In the room, holy and deep gospel chanting sounded, a human figure slowly erged.
This was a middle-aged man with a handso, cold face, a pair of seemingly unfathomable eyes, his body as if enveloped in a layer of holy radiance, capable of extinguishing any desire, making all living creatures kneel and kiss his feet, confessing to him.
Most of his body was covered with a complex, gorgeous golden vestnt robe, only revealing a pair of blood-like red shoes, red gloves, several rings inlaid with Holy Gemstones, and on his head, that crown, as if made from countless different crowns stacked together, inlaid with gemstones, gold, symbolizing the supre authority of the “Light Crown.”
He slightly tilted his head up, walking to the front of the statue of the Lord of Light, the holy radiance instantly rging with the “Lord,” as if he was the incarnation of the “Lord” on Earth.
He was indeed the incarnation of the Lord on Earth, he was the current Pope of the Federation, he was Charles I!
Behind him, on the solemn long benches, sat one bishop after another draped in Red Robes, the knight armor’s silver light twinkling within the shadows at their sides, all with their heads slightly bowed, their eyes and faces filled with reverence and devotion.
Despite everyone knowing that Holy Father had learned swordplay from the Thorny Sword Saint, and had publicly praised Saint Confessor Martin Sims’ principle “not practicing the way is the way of Magic” at a public event.
Yet within the church, no one doubted his loyalty to the “Lord.”
Suddenly, everyone heard the calming gospel chanting abruptly change, low prayers suddenly coming from the front, involuntarily, the bishops, priests, knights, nuns… simultaneously began to pray.
The chosen chapter shook their spirits, almost uncontrollably.
“Saints’ Gospels·Apocalypse!”
“The Lord says: Vengeance is mine; I will repay… Vengeance is mine; I will repay…”
“Boom!”
In the cathedral, the holy light that dispersed all darkness soundlessly burst, everyone feeling their vision filled with brilliance, they seed to see countless armored angels, their weapons sared with “Holy Blood,” embodying a destructive force about to slaughter on Earth.
The angels issued roars, and the world thus crumbled.
“Vengeance is mine! I will repay!”
