Chapter 318: Chapter 316 Dark Favored
“Diana resurrected?”
The mbers of the Church, Jason Raphael, and the Witches, along with a few surviving Wild Transcendents, all felt as if they were witnessing history, witnessing sothing unbelievable and incomprehensible happening.
An example of soone who ca back to life from “history” and beca real is the Immortal Earl.
But for those who understand the curse and the Ancestor, they all know that the Earl never truly died.
He was only banished, and now he has returned from the Exotic Realm.
In the Exotic Realm, there seems to be no such thing as the “recession of the Spiritual Tide.”
However, Diana is different, whether it is the comic version of the Immortal Legend or the version just narrated by the Immortal Earl, the beloved girl who willingly ventured into the plague area for the common folk, ultimately sacrificing herself to save the Earl’s Domain, she had died.
But now, as if ti had reversed, she had co back to life once more.
A miracle?
Of course not.
Diana indeed had died, and it seems that even Divine entities couldn’t resurrect soone who died hundreds of years ago.
It was Tang Qi who did it because the “Diana” that appeared now can’t be considered the real Diana; she is a… New Life.
Using Taboo Witchcraft, Tang Qi once again employed the “Life Spell.”
However, this ti it was different; the subject was not a dagger but the corpse itself.
“Sigh”
In the surge of light, the reborn Diana took form.
Her body completely enveloped in sacred radiance, different from the Holy Light of Bright Church, Diana resembled a pure, tender Goddess; it was pure Divinity, evoking inevitable affection yet also respect too deep to arouse any blasphemy.
The new Diana slowly opened her eyes.
“Boom”
The eyes, as immaculate as the stars, t everyone’s gaze.
Even the devoted mbers of the Church, who were utterly faithful to the Lord of Light, had to admit at this mont that she was a perfect, sacred girl.
Even the most fanatical believer would find it hard to tell her “you are sinful.”
However, Diana seed a bit “confused”; her expression was puzzled, as though questioning where is this? Who am I? And who are you?
The side effect of the Life Spell, unless like previously a personality ruled as Sovereign, otherwise, the reborn life would certainly be blank, confused.
However, this ti, the subject used was Diana’s corpse.
Although there was neither personality nor soul inside anymore, there must still be so Information Fragnts left in the corpse from hundreds of years ago when the real Diana fell.
Indeed, although the reborn Diana was very confused.
Her gaze still instantly focused on “the Immortal Earl.”
“Father~ Father?”
Her voice, angelic and moving, entered everyone’s ears.
At this mont, many people wanted to take the place of the Immortal Earl.
Ask yourself?
Who wouldn’t want such a daughter?
Following her instincts, mories sporadically surfacing in her mind, Diana approached the Earl.
“Hisss~ Hisss Hisss”
What greeted Diana were disgusting, mad flesh tentacles.
“Get away from !”
“You are not Diana; she’s long dead.”
“Even if you are, please… die once again.”
The Immortal Earl almost roared these words hysterically.
Her many years of learning, training in noble elegance, the deanor of a strong Extraordinary, all disappeared at that mont.
Anyone could see a trace of panic in her eyes.
It’s as if she saw her natural enemy, an unbeatable Buster.
According to the version previously narrated by the Earl, the Divinity she possessed was all plundered from Diana’s body. Diana was an Immortal, and if she truly resurrected, she would take back the Divinity from within the Earl.
Following so “priority” laws of the Mysterious Side, the Earl would indeed suffer greatly.
Originally behind the Earl, a “flesh flower” of flesh tentacles blood, but now like a Tide, surged towards Diana.
And the girl, due to being newly born, stumbled, her expression confused.
Seeing that another “tragedy” was about to occur, it seed no one in the field could stop it.
Black Mud Domain!
Even if a strong figure like an Ascetic went in, without a reliance like Divinity, they would quickly fall.
Both Tang Qi and Sally were also within the Domain.
Sally, possessing an Immortal physique and harboring Doomsday Magic within, effortlessly resisted the Domain. Unlike Esralda, Sally’s appearance bore no changes, seeming even to preserve her magic and Life Force?
But Tang Qi used a cunning thod.
At this mont, he also had a streak of Divinity within him, a Sun.
Originating from the Divine Power of the Master of the Crucible, it would exist only for a short ti; the price he paid was half of his rits at the projection site of the Master of Furnace.
The purpose of exchanging Divinity: to get close to the Earl.
Without the suppression of the Corpse Holy Grail, given the Earl’s “Demigod Level” strength, even the most powerful Red Robed Bishop at the scene couldn’t get close.
Now, Tang Qi had done it.
As those tentacles were about to sweep over Diana, Tang Qi bellowed angrily, echoing suddenly through Winston Town.
He uttered a na that was incredibly unfamiliar to everyone.
“Norma!”
These two words, like thunder, exploded in the Earl’s mind.
The Immortal Earl, monstrous as he was, seed to have been hit by the “Petrification Technique,” falling into a daze.
On her face was disbelief, as if that na possessed unimaginable magic power.
Though her daze lasted only half a breath, it was enough.
Diana, or rather, Tang Qi.
No matter what kind of mories the newly reborn Diana obtained from the corpse, what sort of life form she would beco, it couldn’t change one fact: her master, it was Tang Qi.
True effect of the Life Spell: The practitioner, is the master.
Diana made her move!
The divine power granted by the “Life Spell” allowed her to remain unaffected within the domain too.
Her originally staggering steps vanished in an instant, and her entire being, like a warlike Goddess, trod upon the Black Mud, transforming into a phantom that pierced through the tide of fleshly tentacles. Before half a breath had passed, she appeared right before the Earl.
“Father!”
As these words were voiced, a scene flashed through the newly born Diana’s mind.
It was sothing that had happened before: in a magnificent castle, she lay sleeping on a stone platform with her eyes closed, while her hand glowing with light, sharp as a blade, pierced her own chest… Instinctively, Diana mimicked the action.
“Shh”
Her pale hand, wrapped in divine radiance and sharp as a blade, plunged into the Earl’s chest.
This scene was like the turning of the Wheel of Reincarnation.
The Earl, just recovering from her daze, wore an expression frozen in horror. She looked down at Diana before her, her own divinity, and that absorbed from the Ancestors, at this mont like a floodgate opened, unreservedly surged into the palm of its true master.
Divinity, originally had its master.
Even after hundreds of years, while the Immortal Earl could wield divine power, it couldn’t change the deepest imprint.
Now, it truly was… succession by rightful claim!
Both seed to beco beings of Light, bursting with such formidable Divine Radiance that it was hard for anyone to look directly. Still, the divinity within the Earl uncontrollably flooded into Diana’s body.
Just as the Earl efficiently reclaid divinity from the Ancestors, Diana’s resurrection dictated a similar fate.
This twist, unexpected not just by the Earl but probably by no one.
Even the witches from the sa camp as Tang Qi, who sought the Daughter of Destiny due to a prophecy and secretly manipulated everything through the rada Witch Group, had not anticipated such a use for Diana’s corpse.
In their expectations, wasn’t it supposed to be Sally, the “Daughter of Destiny,” performing so sort of sacrifice or other ritual to deal with the evil Immortal Earl?
Could it be that Sally was not the Daughter of Destiny, but rather Diana was?
As the witches harbored various doubts and felt both joy and excitent, a turn of events similarly dawned over them, and the last Ancestor.
The Chief Maid, she too harbored divinity within.
The Earl, to taste the Black Mud, purposefully didn’t kill her, to maintain the operation of the Corpse Holy Grail.
At this mont, the Chief Maid’s cry abruptly stopped, and a rich radiance burst from her body into Diana’s.
The divinity lost, the Chief Maid instantly reverted to her original state, her skeletal body violently collapsing into dust with a “thud.”
The last Ancestor’s death imdiately brought the contract into effect, within the do of the Corpse Holy Grail, three terrifying auras erupted, they bound the Grail, recollecting all the spilled Black Mud, a sealing so strong it was nigh unbreakable, sealed instantly.
With a “whoosh,” the Holy Grail flew towards the Church.
Contrarily, from within the witches, strands of light poured out, including from Esralda, the Witch Leader, their power derived from the bloodline of the First Generation Witch, which established the renown of the rada Witch Group.
Now, rapidly draining, all flowed into Diana’s body.
What was moving was that all the “deprived” witches, rather than showing sadness or anger on their faces, showed relieved, happy smiles, even if they beca old and frail, Esralda never reverted from an elderly woman again.
Her face bore an exceptionally radiant smile.
Unfortunately, this beautiful scene was shattered in an instant by a wild laugh.
The Immortal Earl!
Having almost lost all her divinity, she seed completely oblivious to the approaching death, laughing ferociously, her face twisted with insanity. She seed to finally understand who the “true owner” was, the person she had overlooked before.
Her gaze suddenly fell on Tang Qi.
“It’s you!”
“Ha ha ha… I understand now, you too ca for the Immortals, and your appetite is even greater than mine, coveting two Immortals at once, is this the gift you prepared for ? The resurrected Diana? The reincarnated Diana?”
“Tsk tsk, such a perfect plan, if you were a pirate, you would definitely beco the most shaful and promising one.”
“Unfortunately, you missed sothing very important…I’m different now!”
“Boom”
In this mont, still holding her characteristic chatter, the Earl transford drastically as she uttered the last word.
Countless thick, fleshly tentacles burst from her back, growing wildly and uncontrollably, her perfect, enchanting body suddenly began to swell, unsightly mounds of flesh piled up, a vile, mad stench released…
In a daze, Tang Qi felt like his head was hamred as the sensation of directly facing the “Dark Dominator” resurfaced.
In the depths of his eyes, new Information Fragnts flowed.
“Extraordinary Creatures: Dark Favored… Transforming!”
