Capítulo 1244: Chapter 161: Beetle-Verse Rose 2
In the blink of an eye, Tang Qi unleashed “All-Knowing” on the adult insect without hesitation.
Unable to enter the Library, brute force clearly couldn’t defeat the terrifying number of larvae, let alone contend with the horrifying adult insect.
But if weaknesses could be known, then there was still hope.
At this mont of focus, Tang Qi felt a long-lost sensation of swelling deep within his soul, and then he began to uncover the real secret.
Useless information was discarded, leaving only one piece, which erged like an imprint.
“It is a blank deity, it can be erased, can be filled, can be polluted, can be devoured.”
This information seed inexplicable, yet it allowed Tang Qi to see sothing.
And then, he made a startling move.
Without any warning, Tang Qi walked forward intentionally.
There, vibrant colors collided and churned like ink, yet it was a place of emptiness and nihility.
There, a thing like a Black Hole existed.
The Blank Worm lacked the organ known as a “mouth,” but due to Tang Qi’s enforced erasure, it forcibly created a mouth on the unimaginably large body of the adult insect.
Tang Qi was casting himself inside.
This was originally his adventure alone, but at the mont he made his move, the True Rose behind him directly handed Alice Five to another Rose, while she swiftly grabbed Tang Qi’s hand without hesitation.
“Boom!”
It surged forth, countless chaotic concepts and information flooded in like a tide.
Tang Qi and Rose were enveloped, were filled.
Both felt they were being pulled into another world, a world independent from the boundless mystery.
A terrifying transformation began on the two of them, Rose felt that the extraordinary powers she possessed as the Great Polymath turned into blankness in the blink of an eye, she was stripped of her powers.
Tang Qi’s feeling was even more horrifying.
For the first ti, since Tang Qi beca the Sovereign of the “Dream Kingdom,” his connections to the kingdom, to all followers, Clan, and even the two Subordinate Gods, were being severed.
Tang Qi was turning “blank,” falling from Pseudo Sovereign towards mortal, fantasy, life, soul, Compulsory Narrative, Truth, Sun, Epic…nurous Divine Authorities he held, began to disappear from his perceptions.
It’s not being stripped of power, but rather severed from connections.
Despite this, it was still an “anxiety” unbearable for All Spirits.
Even a true Sovereign would find it hard to maintain calm at this mont.
Tang Qi managed it, seemingly having foreseen it, calmly let himself be cast into the unfamiliar new world.
The only surprise was Rose rushing over from behind.
And in the outside world, within Sector Thirty-Two, Tang Qi and Rose transford into two colorful Light Points, transitioned from dream to blank, rged into the adult insect’s body, and ti appeared to halt due to this.
…
Tang Qi woke up, and the first conclusion he reached upon feeling himself was: the loss of all Divine Authorities, only retaining the Human body itself, and All-Knowing.
Without examining his surroundings, Tang Qi suddenly heard Rose’s voice, mixed with the sound of wings flapping and the rustling of a tiny body in the air.
Looking up slightly, Tang Qi imdiately saw a “monster” flying towards him.
Is this a vibrant beetle?
Yes, mostly.
Yet, the head revealed it was Rose Madeline, even keeping a head full of radiant golden hair.
“Tang!”
For the first ti, Tang Qi heard an exceptionally complex and panicked emotion in Rose’s address, clearly she also knew what kind of form she had beco.
Tang Qi felt sowhat grateful that All-Knowing’s position was high enough to resist the “blank” baptism.
At this mont, information burst forth in his mind.
“Divine Entity: Rose Madeline.”
“State: Unknown Abnormality.”
Tang Qi didn’t know what Unknown Abnormality ant, but he was sure this beetle with a beautiful human face was Rose.
He extended his palm, allowing Rose to land in it.
Before they could start to communicate, suddenly ca a “click” sound, a window on the rust-covered iron door ahead was opened, a gray-silver iron basin filled with various peculiar “food” was handed in, covered with many dents.
Outside the iron door, a grotesque and bloated figure walked past, a stick-like object hitting the iron door, accompanied by impatient curses:
“Damn pervert, here’s your lunch, eat it all, don’t leave even a piece.”
Tang Qi and Rose were stunned by the iron door, the food, the rebuke, and the environnt they saw the next mont.
A narrow room filled with the sll of urine with bunk beds and lidless toilets…
“Is this a prison cell?”
As the thought erged, Tang Qi’s gaze suddenly froze as he surveyed his surroundings.
He awoke in the lower bunk, and now he saw the upper bunk.
There lay a highly rotten body.
Human?
Only half human, the upper half was, while the lower half was sticky, foul-slling tentacles, each ending in an eyeball oozing foul water, half-closed.
After waking up, Tang Qi noticed so parts of his body felt sticky and had a foul sll, now he knew why.
Apart from the stench and urine sll, there was another fragrance source in the prison cell.
Not the Rose in his palm, the beautiful woman turned human-headed beetle was not fragrant at all.
It was the food in the gray silver iron basin, neat piles of “roasted apples.”
This is certainly a terrible description; they are actually twenty-four human heads, all female, seemingly subjected to a complex miniaturization process, not shriveled but instead exuding a tempting hue, topped with sothing like lted cheese and golden honey.
The irresistible aroma began to fill the prison cell, masking the stench and urine sll.
“Here…?”
Rose Madeline lost the Great Polymath’s power, but essentially she remained the wise and mature polymath.
She wasn’t surprised by her shape shift, nor did she scream at the terrifying scene in front, instead, she frowned, trying to find a way out.
Tang Qi was also “stripped” of his powers, but All-Knowing remained.
As his gaze swept over, fragnted yet surprising information fragnts flashed and burst.
“Divine Entity: Mandro prisoner.”
“Parsing error… parsing error…”
“Information Fragnt X: This is a patched Divine Entity, it seems to be dead?”
…
“Divine Entity: Transcendent Miniature Craft Experintal Product.”
“State: undergoing further crafting, they are now delicious food.”
“Information Fragnt X: They ca from… parsing error… they’re so ancient existence.”
“Information Fragnt… error… consu my head, and thou shalt eternally persist.”
…
“Are they all Divine Entities?”
Tang Qi didn’t expect, two horror frightening things, to be Divine Entities.
Yet unlike those in the boundless mystery, Tang Qi couldn’t completely discern their true origins or uses?
The latter true Roasted Apples, twenty female heads, according to information are now food.
But without doubt, Tang Qi won’t consu them.
His gaze continued to sweep through the prison cell, anwhile responding to Rose: “A more accurate definition, this might be the world inside a Blank Insect’s abdon, or a Blank Insect itself.”
“If we can leave here, perhaps we can defeat all adult insects.”
“Hmm, how do you feel now?”
Tang Qi’s last sentence evidently touched Rose’s sore spot.
Her head softly bumped on Tang Qi’s palm, a face educated yet beautiful with surprise and helplessness.
She wriggled her beetle body, twisted her head rolling a few circles on Tang Qi’s palm, weakly replied:
“This might be my fault, before entering this world with you, I vaguely felt faced with a choice, only allowing to retain so power.”
“At that ti I chose my head, thinking and knowledge, obviously more important than my body.”
“But now, I’m a bit regretful.”
Rose’s answer made Tang Qi smile, lifting up beetle version Rose to his face.
Blinked his eyes, then smiled and said:
“Have you thought, if you chose oppositely, now you would probably retain a perfect and fiery body, yet have a beetle head?”
