Chapter 1092: Chapter 50: First Layer Disguise (Part 2)

“God Deceiver! God Deceiver!”

Brannigan opened his mouth, sharp teeth grinding, ghost light surging, silently roaring.

His shadow was about to leave the New Strange Town area again, disappearing from sight.

But in the very next second, he felt the pain.

A hand wrapped in lting Furnace Light Fla reached out from within that small town, grabbing his neck directly.

Ignoring his instant “Counterattack” completely, it dragged him entirely into the New Strange Town.

Deep within his mind, Tang Qi’s voice, filled with intense malice, echoed.

“God of Deception, Stealing, and Hiding, Brannigan, since you want to be my guest, why suddenly desire to leave?”

“As the Mayor of New Strange Town, I will properly entertain my first uninvited guest.”

With this voice, Brannigan received new judgnt feedback.

“New Compulsory Narrative Domain [Thief Falling into the Furnace]… You have accepted the invitation…”

“I did not!”

Brannigan, upon hearing the na of that narrative domain, his blackened face, eyes widened to the limit, and those already pitifully small black spots nearly disappeared.

Yet this did not stop the continuation, nor did it prevent him from taking a role in the story.

As a “Powerful God”, Brannigan actually had the power to break free from New Strange Town’s Binding to him, at most paying a little price, he could safely leave.

Unfortunately, his greed and caution caused him to miss the opportunity.

The first reason was that he had not arrived in body, a quarter of his body plus four layers of disguise, with a combat power equivalent to seven or eight usual Gods, which was clearly incapable of resisting the crushing of “Compulsory Narrative” coupled with “Fantasy”, these two great Authority.

The second reason was that he was reluctant to give up the disguise. If he were to unleash all combat power at this mont, giving up one or two disguises as a price, he also had a chance to escape.

He did not do so, thinking that although he fell into a trap, there was still a chance to reverse the situation.

Then the next mont, within the New Strange Town, a brand new yet extrely simple narrative domain was born:

A warm red brick building, on the soft sofa in the living room, Tang Qi was wearing a reindeer sweater, holding a transcendent hot drink, tasting a delicious snack, beside him, Cathy Kloey was busy in a red maid costu.

Suddenly, with a muffled sound, a shadow fell into the fireplace, burning fiercely with flas.

“Ah…”

All Spirits Above Boundless Mystery, especially the Gods of Chaotic Evil Camp, once touched by Molten Furnace Flas, would inevitably feel Pain.

Brannigan, was no exception.

He instantly curled into a ball, frantically rampaging attempting to leave that narrow fireplace engulfed by flas.

But that seemingly thin red brick, completely blocked his Divine Power.

Deep within his mind, the invitation voice belatedly arrived.

“… Entered narrative domain, serving as the only protagonist [Clumsy Thief].”

“On a boring night, there ca a clumsy thief.”

Under Brannigan’s extrely angry gaze, Tang Qi leaned over, sighing.

Behind him, the familiar dismal fairy-like face of Cathy Kloey appeared.

This girl deliberately showed a gloating expression, helplessly said: “Lord Brannigan, I have long told you, the God I follow is the true ‘God Deceiver’, the great Savior, the eternally wise and universally loving…see, that I haven’t changed my belief to you, doesn’t it show that I am quite wise too?”

The “mockery” from Cathy Kloey made Brannigan even more furious.

But soon, Fear took the upper hand.

Because before his eyes, within this extrely narrow fireplace, in the flickering flas, an opening appeared.

The Molten Furnace Gate!

Beyond the portal, roars that nearly drove him mad echoed.

“Molten Furnace Master!”

Clearly, Brannigan, who thought he could counter and reverse the situation, had never expected it.

The despicable “New God” simply didn’t give Him a chance for a fair duel, the divine power battle He envisioned never occurred.

What awaited Him was a trap He couldn’t possibly counter.

Who would have thought soone would place the “Molten Furnace Gate” within a makeshift fireplace, and the irritable Molten Furnace Master would be on call?

After that night of the Light Festival, all spirits knew the Molten Furnace Master was heading for extinction and downfall.

But they also knew that before the “Furnace” truly fell, even a Dominator-level God would find no pleasant outco by provoking Him.

Brannigan made an instant decision, He would cut His tail to survive.

“Ugh!”

Without warning, Brannigan, coiled up to resist the burning, suddenly opened a mouth filled with endless sharp teeth, from which a large amount of foul green liquid surged out.

Along with that liquid, a sticky figure was climbing out of Brannigan’s mouth.

His limbs and torso resembled a human’s, but His head was in the shape of a lizard, and His body was completely covered in green scales, adorned with lavish rings around His wrists, ankles, and neck. On His head lay a bloated, rotting monster infant covered in eyeballs and red fur.

As He crawled out of Brannigan’s body, the infant imdiately opened its decaying mouth and let out a terrifying cry.

“Boom!”

Divine power with intense chaotic characteristics erupted within that fireplace.

It was a divinity of fear, chaos, and coldness, not reaching the level of a Powerful God, but not sothing a normal Weak God could compare to.

Moreover, this was a complete form, releasing divine power recklessly.

The red bricks that blocked Brannigan’s escape instantly cracked with “ka-ka” sounds under the force of the divine power.

The entire compulsory narrative domain instantly felt an overwhelming pressure.

In Tang Qi’s eyes, an explosion of information fragnts occurred.

[Divine Entity: Brannigan’s First Layer of Disguise.]

[State: Self-release.]

[Information Fragnt One: Belonging to Brannigan’s first skin, He was the “God of Lizards, Cold-blooded Ones, and Abandoned Infants,” a being with weak presence but not lacking in combat strength, part of the Chaotic Evil Camp. His favorite food was rotten abandoned infants.]

[Information Fragnt Two: He was the first spirit that caught Brannigan’s attention, and the latter attacked and killed Him in an extrely cruel manner by pretending to be His devoted believer, sacrificing over a million abandoned infants at once, adding a large amount of divine material that could put a god to sleep.]

[Information Fragnt Three: In the end, in His dream, this cruel god was devoured by a sudden “resurrection” of a million infants… in reality, it was Brannigan who plundered everything from Him, donned His skin, and replaced Him.]

[Information Fragnt Four: He has been temporarily discarded by Brannigan, and He is fully releasing all His divinity.]

As these information fragnts surged, the narrative domain that Tang Qi casually fabricated imdiately collapsed.

“Boom!”

“The narrative structure is destroyed… the compulsory narrative domain [Thief Falling into the Fireplace] has collapsed…”

“Rumble!”

The mont the narrative domain collapsed, the God of Lizards, Cold-blooded Ones, and Abandoned Infants, nearly self-destructed, directly transford into a massive green ocean. The sticky and cold surface, like the blood of so monster, revived the highly decayed bodies of infants, who cried, about to engulf the entire New Strange Town.

Until the next second, the previously closed Molten Furnace Gate opened once more.

An irresistible force of suction erupted, swallowing the entire “green ocean” into it. The lizard deity, evidently killed by Brannigan, still let out a shrill wail, almost like crying, following instinct as it entered the Molten Universe.

A roar, familiar to Tang Qi, ca from behind the portal.

“Despicable being, you finally understand what a generous return gift is… my favorite thing is this kind of cold-blooded deity. Whenever their bodies, blood, and souls boil in my realm, I experience ultimate pleasure…”

“Next ti, follow this standard, and my return gift will also be very generous.”

The roar of the Molten Furnace Master made Brannigan, already erging from the narrative domain and about to leave the New Strange Town, shudder violently, his pitch-black body appearing as if it wore no clothing.

He seed to recall so unpleasant scene, his cunning, sinister eyes fixed on Tang Qi with a glare before he attempted to flee.

However, at that mont, Tang Qi suddenly turned his head, his face full of mocking smiles reflected in Brannigan’s eyes.

A new determination echoed deep within His mind.
