Chapter 1034: Chapter 5: Gregory Rampages
Pure white snowflakes fell like feathers, the slight sound of them landing on the ground piercing the ears of Tang Qi, Diana, and Olga. Besides that, there were only the footsteps of passersby and the clicking sounds from the towering Bell Tower.
It was clear that, like Eagle’s Nest City, this was a tropolis, yet even though it was approaching evening, the atmosphere was unexpectedly serene.
What caught the eyes of the three at that mont was the capital city of the largest territory on the Old Continent, the Slavic countries’ Saint Nicholas Castle.
Tang Qi held Diana, who remained curious due to her first arrival on Origin Star. The little angel was still barefoot, wearing that ancient dress, but wherever she went, any wicked filth would automatically vanish, benefiting all life and making it vibrant.
Olga stood aside, her beautiful face also showing curiosity, but mostly nostalgia.
Her gaze, beyond the snow-covered square, directly fell upon a magnificent and solemn building at the end. Compared to Eagle Heart Palace, the building Olga was observing was more luxurious, yet it possessed a cold, solemn quality, reflecting the differing aesthetics between Slavs and Federations.
In the dim light, this palace, nad “Holy Slava” and nicknad Glory Castle, lay like a giant beast on the earth.
It was once the royal palace of the Slavic countries, a long-ti ho for Olga.
However, as ti passed, changes had occurred here; the Slavic countries no longer had a royal family, and Glory Castle had beco a tourist attraction.
Olga’s mind had been filled with a vast amount of changing Information Fragnt by Tang Qi. She could indeed, like the contemporary Slavs, recognize those additional buildings around Glory Castle: Ivan Cathedral, Saint Nicholas morial Column, Imperial Museum, Triumphal Arch…and so on.
But she deliberately ignored these. Her eyes seed to still reflect the Glory Castle from the distant Dark Era, cloaked in the snowy night.
That night, lights blazed brightly, the nation celebrated, and Nicholas III’s most beloved daughter, the fairy-like “Olga,” was about to marry the incomparably handso Prince from the neighboring state.
Just as the wedding reached its most crucial mont, a fierce and mighty giant dragon flew in under the cover of nightfall.
It spewed dragon fire, drove away the guards, and snatched the beautiful bride in front of all the guests…Olga seed to see the incredibly dazzling golden do of Ivan Cathedral once again, which also shone gloriously that night, making the cruel scene indescribably romantic.
The sound of passersby and travelers trampling on the snow quickly interrupted Olga’s mories.
In her eyes, the nostalgic look turned icy cold, with a reddish ghost light erging, a tangibly murderous intent.
She suddenly looked toward the center of the square, where a statue stood, her grandmother, the most formidable Empress of the Slavic countries, who once clamored to conquer the entire Old Continent, “Empress Yevgeniya,” beneath whose statue was engraved a famous quote revealing her experiences and ambitions.
“Love cannot surpass my swords, cannons, and armies; it is not a necessity. My power is the necessity.”
As if absentmindedly, Olga recited the words once said by her grandmother, and the clarity, innocence, and purity that originally radiated from her were vanishing, replaced by coldness and hardness.
By her side, Tang Qi watched silently, neither advising nor intervening.
He was not the kind of Holy Mother God who ddled in everything. Olga and Abel’s “Human-Dragon tragic romance” had nothing to do with him. He was just an Observer, only intrigued by the things within the Dragon Nest that allowed Abel’s Ascension, which prompted this temporary addition to the itinerary before leaving Origin Star.
Whatever choices Olga Nikolaevna made, Tang Qi would not interfere.
“Directly proceed to the dragon nest in the snowfield, or first…”
Tang Qi was about to decide on the next step when suddenly, at this mont, he and Diana simultaneously felt a sensation, whereas Olga, being the “Twisted Dragon Mother,” was a half-second slower. All three simultaneously looked towards one side of Slava Square.
There were several museum-like buildings, and within one dark-toned, oddly-shaped museum, an aura familiar yet hateful to Olga was surging and racing.
…
Vic Museum, a unique museum, its collections include various reproductive organs and related items, whether from humans or other species.
Its two most famous exhibits are the legendary “Leviathan Giant Whale,” donated by an adventurer from the Old Calendar Era, and the notorious monk Gregory of the Slavic countries, both attracting nurous visitors, constant in their comings and goings.
At that mont, in Gregory’s exhibition hall, the glass cabinet of the exhibit had been smashed, the floor littered with glass shards.
Three monks, clad in red, gaunt figures, were murmuring in circles, their uttered syllables more obscure and ancient than Slavic Language, resembling a long-lost minor dialect from the Dark Era.
As the eerie ritual progressed rapidly, their red robes detached, revealing bodies covered with mysterious symbols.
Gradually, their voices grew passionate.
Outside the exhibition hall, heavy shadows began to appear, all Transcendents, similarly dressed in red but adorned with dragon-symbol Warlock Robes. Leading them was an elderly-looking Slav, about sixty years old, with a dragon-shaped imprint on his forehead, ferocious and malicious.
As soon as he and his n entered, one of the three monks abruptly turned around, grinned at him, and taunted in Slavic Language:
“Alexei, you’re late…please receive a gift from the ‘Endless Flesh’ faction. Having subjected Gregory to the highest punishnt back then, you shouldn’t have kept the spoils, nor put them on display…”
“Gregory was a Traitor, Abel too is a Traitor, and the great Flesh Sovereign will not spare any Traitor. They’ll start with you, the minions of Abel.”
“Boom, boom, boom”
Without giving the powerful magician called Alexei a chance, these words directly drilled into their minds, and before they finished speaking, the three red-robed monks self-destructed.
But the expected spray of flesh and blood did not occur. The sticky, dark red flesh simultaneously transford into a mass of “columnar blood worms.”
“Damn it!”
“Tear it apart, quickly.”
Alexei was nearly mad, his old face full of despair.
He ripped apart the warlock robe on his body, and his whole being started to swell. Dragon scales, bone spurs, sharp claws, fangs… A monster resembling a humanoid evil dragon was born, and the other warlocks behind him transford in succession.
Unfortunately, as the monk had said, they were too late.
The incredibly scarlet flesh radiance suddenly burst forth. The “Vic Museum,” with its rich collection and having received countless visitors from various countries of the Origin Star, was destroyed within half a second.
“Boom!”
“Roar”
The serenity of Holy Slava Square completely vanished. Accompanied by loud noises, terrible and eerie roars echoed throughout the entire city.
All humans who heard the roar, especially n, couldn’t help but feel an urge to mate, as so part of their lower body began to swell and rise. The blood filled with intense desire surged through their entire body, and they had to expend all their strength to suppress this inexplicable urge.
In the collapsing museum, a “giant beast” rolled and roared.
It was like a mountain-sized worm, only too much like a columnar form, with at tumors and blood vessels frantically proliferating. The thick red flesh radiance and the stench intertwined and raged like a storm; its head had no facial features, only a giant mouth that continuously opened and closed.
Inside were loop-like sharp teeth that could shred even a skyscraper into shreds in an instant.
Beneath it were the figures of several “half-dragon monsters” trying to escape.
But the giant beast rolled a few tis and caught all the half-dragons. Accompanied by the sound of crunching, and amidst the wailing, several Transcendents exuding at least a “Professional Level” aura, including one nearing the Legendary Level, fell in an incredibly short ti.
In the wake of the sudden change, the square area plunged into chaos.
However, after the initial chaos, the passersby and travelers, although sowhat unsteady, were evidently educated in so relevant knowledge. They began screaming and running to so ergency shelters.
At the sa mont, angry and panicked roars ca from various parts of the city.
Obviously, like the Divine Eagle Federation, the Slavic countries had also publicly announced the existence of the “Extraordinary World” to their billions of citizens.
The official enforcers from the Mysterious Side were rushing from various places. The transcendent level of the giant beast was quite high, requiring at least Legendary Level Transcendents to contend against it.
But fortunately, this was the capital of the Slavic countries; there was definitely more than one Demigod.
The giant beast seed to be aware of this as well. After devouring several warlocks, it unhesitatingly burrowed underground.
The hard brick road surface of the square seed extrely fragile beneath the giant beast’s mouth, and in the blink of an eye, a large hole leading sowhere unknown appeared, and the giant beast disappeared into it.
Everything happened very quickly, within a matter of seconds.
If not for the foul stench still drifting on the wind, everyone might have thought it was an illusion.
…
“That was Gregory, that disgusting thing, Abel’s forr friend.”
In the snowy square ground, Olga hesitated for a mont but soon beca determined again as she spoke.
Tang Qi did not imdiately respond. His gaze was fixed on the ruins, where the foul stench of the blood mist lingered over the pit, and the blood of half-dragons was spilled all around, along with so scales and bits of shredded flesh.
So Information Fragnts that left Tang Qi sowhat speechless exploded at that mont.
The very first one brought a feeling almost unbearable to look at.
“Extraordinary Creature.”
“State: Resurrected.”
