Chapter 512: Chapter 479: Just for Fun
The whimsical competition was suddenly “interrupted,” which left Klyas and Selma showing expressions of confusion. Yet, as soon as Tang Qi made a sudden return, both girls politely revealed looks of delight, which were quickly drawn to the silver-white Little Wolf in Tang Qi’s arms.
“Ah, how adorable.”
Klyas’ eyes sparkled as she gazed at the Little Wolf in Tang Qi’s embrace; Tilos Monsters simply had no resistance to such creatures. The wave of affinity she emitted in her astonishnt also put Tang Qi in quite a bind since Selma was giving the sa kind of look.
The latter, despite wearing the appearance of a young girl, was in reality older than Klyas, which ant she couldn’t quite pull off the irresistibly cute act.
Luckily, Professor Eva appeared just in ti to defuse the situation, taking the Little Wolf from Tang Qi’s hands. She didn’t ask about the spoils of Tang Qi’s adventure, but with a glance exchanged between them, Tang Qi said lightly, “The gains are good, but there might be so trouble afterward. However, this ti there’s no need for a school lockdown.”
Seeing Professor Eva nodding in understanding, Tang Qi then turned to Selma with a questioning look, but she spoke first.
Looking around the Lake Heart Island Secret Realm, Selma quickly indicated, “The Ancestor Fruit you provided truly has trendous potential. It has a kind of purity that can evolve the body and mysteriously contains different directions of Extraordinary Power for evolution.”
“But if you cultivate it in the usual way, while activating the Extraordinary Power, so unpredictable side effects will be born. Fortunately, my father sent
so materials. One of them, called ‘Demon Spirit Blood’ in the Eternal Heaven Dynasty, can be understood as a kind of ‘Activator.’ I added it to the cultivating vessel and successfully activated the fruit without side effects. It’s just that after blooming, a small accident occurred…”
As Selma explained, Tang Qi, along with Eva and Klyas at his side, all turned to look at the chaotic ss that was Dragon Heart Castle.
Was that supposed to be a small accident?
Their questioning looks made Selma blush for a rare occasion. Struggling to maintain her noble composure, she resisted the urge to retort loudly and simply muttered, “It’s my first ti using it, I didn’t get the dosage right, and it exploded.”
As Selma spoke, Tang Qi glanced at a white, irregularly shaped fruit that had appeared in his hand.
Indeed, the Information Fragnt that erged in his mind showed, this was an Ancestor Fruit that strengthened “speed.”
“Does every fruit enhance in different directions?”
Suddenly, a light called surprise flickered in Tang Qi’s eyes. As if he had thought of sothing, a look of eager anticipation flashed across his face.
Without any delay, Tang Qi began to sweep his gaze across the entire surroundings of Dragon Heart Castle. Every “Monster” that was being chased did not escape his scrutiny.
The life that was parasitized seed to be limited to wild animals; Tang Qi didn’t see any “plants” or “fish.”
Besides the ubiquitous Wild Boars, rabbits, wolves, and deer-like beasts, occasionally so Extraordinary class wild animals would appear. They may be extrely rare elsewhere, but within the “Lake Heart Island Secret Realm,” such lower-level wild animals were simply too common.
Only because of the existence of Dragon Heart Castle, these Extraordinary Creatures weren’t likely to erge easily.
But after being parasitized by the “Ancestor Fruit,” in their agitated State, regardless of where they were parasitized, they seed to all flock to where humans were gathering.
Tang Qi swiftly passed by the strange shapes of various “Parasitic Beasts,” his focus not lying there. What really caught his attention were the Information Fragnts related to “Fruit Ability” that kept flashing through his mind.
Within a dozen or so breaths, Tang Qi’s gaze suddenly locked onto the sky.
There, a gorgeously ornate bird dragged around its astonishingly beautiful tail feathers, zipping back and forth over Dragon Heart Castle, occasionally looking back and mocking the students who, despite using their abilities or piloting Clarkwo “River Pufferfish” spaceships, still could not capture it.
The original appearance of this “little bird” was hard to discern now; its entire body was covered with fiery red feathers, each one seemingly wrapped in Red Flas, twinkling with an illusionary luster that was hard to take one’s eyes off, especially the long tail feathers, akin to a creature of legend.
Atop its head blood a “Seven-colored Ancestor Flower.”
When Tang Qi looked over, the flower was just starting to wither.
A detail that had appeared before during the observation of the giant wolf, once the parasitic Ancestor Flower began to wither, it ant the “Parasitic Beast” was about to absorb the Extraordinary Power within the fruit, and consequently, their agitated state would be lifted.
As long as the Parasitic Beast wasn’t too dim, they would choose to flee at this mont.
The bird mocking the students obviously couldn’t be categorized as a “dumb bird.” It let out a short and proud squawk before flapping its fla-wing-like wings, ready to escape towards the mountains shrouded in thick fog in the distance.
Until the next mont, a figure with more “mythical” allure appeared in front of it.
The Vilnas Fairy!
It, along with the Night Beast, had received orders from Tang Qi, but this ti the Fairy had taken the lead. Its pair of Elf eyes t with the bird’s gaze, the latter clearly seeing a rich sense of mischief in the Fairy’s eyes, not understanding what that ant yet.
Snap!
A “loving” slap from the Fairy, which spared anything other than its pride, directly sent the bird tumbling down, and the Ancestor Flower above its head landed in Tang Qi’s hands. With a hissing leak, a small red bird fell into Tang Qi’s embrace.
