Chapter 364: Chapter 354 Sun Core

Green Dragon Ridge Lake, as one of the oldest Great Lakes in the Federation Great Lake Region, has an extrely long nautical history, making the number of sunken ships at the bottom of the lake a sight to behold for the entire Federation, which ans ghost ships, rare elsewhere, are not uncommon here.

In fact, there’s more than one.

For instance, at this mont, a double-masted sailboat suddenly surfaces from the depths of the whirlpool.

“Boom~”

The battered hull, black sails, and spectral forms appearing all over the ship, wrapped in blue ghostly light, create waves and turbulent water as it erges from the whirlpool, pushing the modern salvage fleet hundreds of ters away.

If possible, those on the salvage ships might prefer being swept back to shore, just to avoid this kind of fear.

Especially when they overhear the discussions of the ghosts.

“Ah, delectable humans.”

“What do we do? Shall we attack?”

“Don’t waste ti, rember what we’re doing tonight?”

“Moving. We must leave this damned place. Green Dragon Ridge Lake is no longer a paradise; we’re moving to Saint Martin Lake.”

“Exactly, no terrifying neighbors there.”

Although the crew cannot make sense of most of the ghostly murmurs, a portion is enough to sowhat ease their minds.

It seems these man-eating ghosts are planning to move away.

The crew exhales in relief, while the captain lowers his voice and roars, “Turn the helm, head back to port, hurry up.”

No sooner had the captain bellowed than a pilot seed struck by so unimaginable Great Horror, eyes widened in terror, fingers trembling, pointing at the clear waters swirling beneath the ship.

In a lake that ought to be shadowy save for the occasional fish or algae.

At this mont, many “monsters” have appeared.

The crew mbers cautiously stick out their heads, greeted by a scene reminiscent of a fantasy blockbuster.

At the lake’s bottom, shadowy silhouettes appear one after another from the depths.

Then, as if by mutual agreent, they head towards the direction out of Green Dragon Ridge Lake.

Under the illumination of ghosts, will-o’-the-wisps, and the inherent glow of so Extraordinary Creatures, these monsters gradually reveal their true forms.

Most are ghosts.

But so are gigantic “Water Monsters”.

Or so other unknowable Horror.

“Are they all moving house?”

The salvage fleet’s captain watches this unfold in stunned silence.

Their ships are nearly engulfed by monsters and ghosts.

Aside from going with the flow, no one knows what to do.

And sotis, going with the flow isn’t an option, either.

“Bang!”

An abrupt loud noise emanates from a salvage ship accidentally colliding with a “giant wheel”.

It’s a white, brand-new, seemingly luxurious cruiser.

Engraved on its hull is the na “Aeolus”.

On looking up, the crew can imdiately feel its imnse and towering presence, smokestacks soaring high, the decks lavishly beautiful—as if this were the newest luxury liner ready for its “maiden voyage”.

Were it another ti or place, crew mbers would gather around it with envious admiration and comntary.

But at this mont, they feel their scalps tingle, hair stand on end, and cold sweat torrent out, so crew mbers with weaker ntal fortitude have completely collapsed; even if soone ca at them with a knife, they probably couldn’t muster the will to resist.

A ghost ship isn’t enough, now there’s a ghost cruiser too?

The cruiser, incredibly luxurious, appeared out of nowhere on the lake surface, and it’s completely deserted atop.

A cold, terrifying aura like a poisonous snake begins to gnaw at the crew’s minds.

“Aeolus, the most luxurious cruise ship a decade ago, revamped nearly every detail to avoid the fate of the Naked Moon, more luxurious and sturdier. It carried a wealth of nobles and the rich, as well as a batch of newly mined gold from the Northern Federation Gold Mining Company, departing from Secret Phoenix City… Ultimately, due to a bizarre mist, it mysteriously disappeared.”

The knowledgeable captain, now too shocked to move, could only recount a piece of secret history from his mind.

It seems that’s about all he could do.

Because at this mont, this body of water—no, the entire Green Dragon Ridge Lake had transford into a different kind of scene.

Ghosts, Water Monsters, Magic Beasts, and Mysterious Beings… Alone, each could make for a horror film or a fantasy movie, yet tonight they’ve all been crowded together.

Incredibly, their collective appearance is for the purpose of moving house.

And the direction they’ve all chosen points almost unanimously to another Great Lake, Saint Martin Lake.

Surrounded and trembling within, salvage fleet crew mbers’ minds are filled with absurd tales associated with Green Dragon Ridge Lake. Tales they originally thought to be false, until this mont…

“Bang~”

“Bang bang”

Even though most monsters don’t act against the fleet due to moving house, the emanating aura alone is still not sothing ordinary humans can withstand. Crew mbers succumb to various symptoms and fall to the ground amid the dull thuds.

A similar scene plays out in other parts of Green Dragon Ridge Lake.

On shore, in various secluded spots, nurous figures of Extraordinary Species appeared.

Transcendents from all camps had appeared.

They, too, had co for this scene; the mass migration of Extraordinary Creatures was a rare sight.

The last occurrence was during the formal establishnt of the Ancient Castle Bureau’s base at William Castle when a major Transcendent migration took place in the suburbs around Secret Phoenix City.

But at that ti, the Spiritual Tide had just returned, and the number of Extraordinary Creatures was not exaggerated.

The montum was incomparable to this ti.

“The new leader of the rada Witches is quite domineering.”

“After all, she descended upon Secret Phoenix City with the title of Demigod Slayer, especially with close ties to the Church and the Ancient Castle Bureau. A bit more decisive killing is normal.”

“The Transcendents of Martin City are going to have a headache. The monsters moving to Saint Martin Lake now are all big troubles.”

“The cursed Aeolus, the Mutant Fish Monster species, underwater rotten corpses, Undying Ghost Jellyfish… each one is a big trouble.”

“Is Mr. Principal just watching them leave?”

“What else can he do? It’s nightti now, and as strong as he is, he is just one person. Before the Witch Group recovers, his actions yesterday were already at the limit.”

“It seems, almost over.”

High in the sky, shrouded completely by shadows, Tang Qi, unnoticed by anyone, slowly withdrew his gaze.

The entire scene of the “Great Transcendent Escape” unfolding over Green Dragon Ridge Lake was fully captured in his eyes, including the Transcendents on the shores or in various parts of the city watching by all ans—none escaped Tang Qi’s sight.

And with that glance, he had also chosen his targets, more than one.

To be precise, it included the strongest part of the monsters and species.

If Tang Qi were to proceed in a normal order, killing one after another, even with his speed and the help of the Night Beast, at most he could kill a few groups of monsters. That would be the limit, considering the other Extraordinary Monsters weren’t fools.

Once Tang Qi struck rcilessly, either they would hasten their move, or they would turn to besiege Tang Qi.

The forr would cost him a lot of Fuel.

The latter could endanger his life or force Tang Qi to reveal all his cards.

For maximum benefit while maintaining a sense of mystery,

Tang Qi decided he had to create a major event.

Standing under the firmant, bathed in the Purple Moon Radiance, in his palm, strands of golden light flas that seed like pure sunlight began to converge. Each strand full of spirituality, like real Biological entities, gradually fused into a golden sphere.

Boom!

Extre power was brewing inside.

“Sun Core!”

A piece of Information Fragnt flowed through the bottom of Tang Qi’s eyes.

At the sa ti, a brilliant smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.

From the mont he acquired the “Refining thod,” he had almost never stopped Cultivating, and now the fruits of his labor were showing.

Although condensing the “Sun Core” nearly drained the lting Furnace Power inside Tang Qi’s body.

“Let’s begin!”

“Boom~”

The mont his words fell, the Sun Core suddenly burst into Burning.

Red Flas surged out, instantly obscuring the golden essence within. The sphere fell from Tang Qi’s palm, like a small Fireball.

Then, it began to expand.

“Boom~ Boom, boom!”

From its appearance to when it was noticed by all Transcendents, it took less than three breaths.

Three breaths later, the small fireball was gone, and what appeared above the Green Dragon Ridge Lake, in the eyes of all Transcendents, was a huge teor-like red fireball, like the sun that had set during the day, suddenly falling at this mont.

And its direction of descent was precisely into the heart of Green Dragon Ridge Lake.

“What is…?”

On the shores or in various parts of the city, the Transcendents who originally ca to witness the escape of monsters now raised their heads, opened their mouths, first in astonishnt, and then in their eyes, a mixture of shock, Fear, and amazent.

Different from the Transcendents, the escaping monsters, when they looked up and saw the scene above the sky.

Their emotions were extrely uniform.

Anger!

Furious anger!

And when that “teor” like fireball separated mid-air into seven large fireballs, smashing towards different areas of monsters, the ones luckily missed by the attack burst forth with their fastest speed, heading towards the junction of the Secret Phoenix River and Green Dragon Ridge Lake to escape.

The targeted monsters, however, roared in resistance.

On that Ghost Ship, the Aeolus, which was originally empty, a “whoosh” sound, and thousands appeared on the deck, they howled at the teor fireball, invisible fluctuations forming a massive Curse Shield above the ship.

In a dark stretch of the lake, hundreds of half-skeletal, half-rmaid creatures surfaced, beginning to Chant, dissonant, ear-piercing songs echoing as a huge, tsunami-like wave silently rose, completely concealing them.

In the depths of Dragon Ridge Lake, a jellyfish of imnse size, dragging tens of thousands of tentacles, suddenly emitted a piercing Roar, and then its body disintegrated, instantly turning into millions of small jellyfish, scattering in different directions to escape.

Hundreds of ters off the shores of Secret Phoenix City, just outside the port, the water violently boiled, with unimaginable changes occurring below. Silhouettes of human forms climbed and fused with each other, not stopping even as they erged from the water.

Soon, a giant composed entirely of rotten corpses appeared outside the port of Secret Phoenix City.

It completely ignored the abundant Food close at hand, and instead faced the “Great Fireball” descending above, issuing an indecipherable Roar.
