Chapter 292: Chapter 290 Demon 2nd Generation and Church

Winston High School campus, in the woods where a tragic incident occurred, Tang Qi and Sally concealed themselves within the shadows, watching Jason repeatedly block the attacks of the “Host Rabbit” with his large shield while retrieving a splendidly ornate pouch from behind.

The material was so kind of beast skin, handcrafted, with patterns of Tilos Monsters clearly visible, along with so complex ancient textures and symbols.

A dense ghost light surged in the depths of Tang Qi’s eyes.

“Curio: Tilos Magic Bag, a flawless space-related curio with an interior the size of a standard soccer field, set to be opened only by Jason, a coming-of-age gift from his mother, containing other gifts from Tilos Monsters…”

This Information Fragnt swept through, and imdiately, a bad premonition surged within Tang Qi.

Then, in the next instant, it beca reality.

Jason reached into the pouch, seemingly selecting sothing.

The Host Rabbit sensed the impending danger as well; as a Monster, its perception of danger was exceptionally acute.

It had a premonition that if it couldn’t stop this handso, delectable human, its end wouldn’t be pleasant.

“Gugu”

A sowhat comical noise ca from its mouth filled with sharp teeth.

Simultaneously, it released its Bloodline Ability.

Silently, it self-destructed.

First swelling in an instant, then automatically dispersing into hundreds of pale, miserable pieces, like a true bomb washing over the ground, sweeping towards Jason and that refined young man.

Each clump overflowed with the essence of explosion.

But as they launched their attack, a small tallic fortress suddenly appeared in their place, transford from that shield, enveloping both Jason and the young man.

A terrifying explosion resounded, ravaging most of the forest and the ground, leaving only one or two trees on the periphery. But when the white smoke cleared, the fortress in the center bore only a few white marks, undamaged.

With a “click~click” sound, the fortress unfolded, unveiling Jason and the young man once again.

At this mont, several items had appeared in front of Jason.

A green vine!

A primitive yet aesthetically pleasing bow!

A black stone!

“Boom~”

Ghost light surged chaotically from the depths of Tang Qi’s eyes.

Each item was a Curio.

And each was the sort of Curio with significant origins.

Before Tang Qi could get a clear look at the three special scenes that ford, Jason had already made his move.

The black stone burst into dazzling radiance, shining on the Monster which had transford into nurous small Host Rabbits attempting to escape in all directions, forcing them to re-aggregate amid wailing as the gigantic, pale Host Rabbit reappeared.

The green vine, like a nimble snake, wrapped around it. No matter how the Host Rabbit tried to dodge or use its scissor-like sharp blades to slice, it couldn’t do anything to that ordinarily-looking rope, which tightly tied it up.

Then, it saw Jason grip the bow, slowly drawing the string, and with a “hum,” an arrow made purely of green light was born.

As Jason released his fingers, the Light Arrow pierced through the Host Rabbit’s skull.

“Gugu~”

Amid its comical wail, it dissolved like white soft mud into the green light.

When the radiance faded, only a frail figure in a white dress collapsed to the ground, holding a white rabbit doll in her arms.

A faint ghost light emitted from the doll.

“A newly born Curio, due to the death of the Host Rabbit?”

Tang Qi glanced at the three Curios and the rabbit doll without delving into their specific attributes. Tang Qi, filled with excitent, left with Sally.

Even though they knew the person, and even had a relatively good relationship.

But at this mont, Tang Qi chose not to reveal himself; it wasn’t the right ti.

On the way back to the apartnt, Sally, having just witnessed a spectacular Extraordinary Battle, was very excited.

Faced with Sally’s question, “Are all Extraordinary Battles this spectacular?” Tang Qi pulled a wry smile.

Combat in the Mysterious Side World, of course, every battle has its highlights.

But ones like Jason’s are exceedingly rare.

The answer is simple, not every “Demon Hunter,” or other Professionals, have such luxury.

Transcendents with Demon Bloodlines are actually not few.

But Jason is different; he could be considered a “rich second generation” of the Extraordinary World.

Originally due to Tilos Dice, Tang Qi had so speculations about Jason’s background, and that scene just now completely confird it.

Jason’s mother was definitely not an ordinary Tilos Monster.

“Just as the Human World has royalty, or various types of second generations, it’s quite normal for a species like Tilos Monsters, with a long heritage, comparable intelligence to humans, but always choosing to live away from humans, to give rise to sothing akin to a royal family.”

“Perhaps Jason’s father accidentally united with a Tilos Monster that held a status akin to a princess. That could explain why Jason, being the second generation, is so extravagantly opulent.”

“In that bag, there must be a large number of Curios. He didn’t even use the orthodox Demon Hunter’s thods, purely relying on Curios to pile on the target and kill it, which is too… enviable!”

Tang Qi recalled his own collection, which was vast, yet very few could be used in combat. Owning Curios like vines, bows, arrows, and stony combat attributes was even rarer.

However, compared to other Transcendents, Tang Qi was considered wealthy.

One could only say, the second generation is the second generation, and the Demon Monster second generation is similarly unreasonable.

Nevertheless, Jason’s ergence gave Tang Qi another opportunity.

Beyond flipping the table, another safety asure.

With this thought, Tang Qi’s mood lightened slightly.

After returning to the apartnt with Sally and having a dinner cooked by Sally, he then coached his “sister” Sally in Cultivation. He also fed the Night Beast and Gluttony, the latter of which adored Tang Qi’s lting Furnace Power, though it always suffered painfully during consumption, showing severe symptoms of masochism.

Tang Qi himself took the opportunity to read.

The vast number of books gifted by the Witch Group all interested Tang Qi deeply.

Though most did not delve into specific Cultivation thods, aside from a few that emitted a ghost light falling under the category of Curios, most were normal ancient texts.

However, the contents were indeed very intriguing.

For example, “Dragon Seeking Chronicles” is a short-titled book narrating the experiences of a highly curious Wizard from the Old Calendar Era, who traveled the world seeking Extraordinary Dragon Species, with detailed introductions for each dragon encountered.

Such information, if Tang Qi were to seek to purchase from the “Mysterious Valley” organization, would likely be incredibly valuable.

There was also a similar book called “Monsters in the Depths of the Sea,” discussing a half-demon explorer, extrely prone to seeking death, who utilized his Sea Monster Bloodline to venture into the deep ocean, thus encountering various terrifying Monsters… Surprisingly, this book did not record any Cultivation thods.

Yet, it was a Curio, giving Tang Qi a dangerous premonition that made him hold back from imdiately opening it for viewing.

However, he didn’t look at the “Dragon Seeking Chronicles” either, instead first opening a book called “Basic Witchcraft Theory Analysis,” written by a genius Wizard from the Old Calendar Era. He created his own legacy of a Bloodline Wizard through a so-called “Unknown ditation thod,” that drove many cultivators insane.

The next day, Tang Qi sent Sally to Tree Grandma Bookstore and went to Golden Goat Antiques Store as usual to continue his apprenticeship.

As planned, he intended to sell an antique today to earn a small commission.

Of course, he would certainly use special sales techniques.

Around noon, Tang Qi successfully persuaded a plump lady using his gaze, who bought a set of exquisite antique furniture, earning him a share that made Mr. Taylor Wilson very jealous.

Manager Arthur, while praising Tang Qi, also inford him about the progress of the “Immortal Earl Relic Exhibition.”

The official response was as Tang Qi predicted.

However, in dealing with the local residents, Arthur Wilson encountered so subtle refusals, and not all residents were willing to lend their antiques just for an appraisal certificate.

Tang Qi comforted him, suggesting trying to borrow what they could first, then bringing along official personnel to help persuade, which might be useful.

Whether the thod was effective, Tang Qi didn’t know, but he secretly applied a tiny bit of Human Skin Ointnt to Arthur Wilson’s body, extrely little, completely ineffective on Transcendents.

However, this slight amount just might help the manager persuade those stubborn local residents.

After completing these tasks, all that was left for Tang Qi was to wait.

The relics inside Earl Castle from that ti could not all be like “Tebat’s Sword” or “Blood Deer Ship Anchor,” which lost critical Information Fragnts, but having a few more relatively intact could possibly help Tang Qi gain insight into the truth.

In the evening, perhaps out of appreciation for the exhibition concept, Arthur Wilson paid him his first commission that sa day.

A total of three Divine Graces.

With the “large amount,” Tang Qi picked up Sally from the bookstore, uncharacteristically treating his sister to a lavish al.

Then, the siblings walked along the main street towards the Church, planning to pray for a mont before heading back to the apartnt.

However, just as they approached the street corner, Tang Qi inadvertently glanced at the night sky, causing his expression to suddenly stiffen.

Below his gaze, wave after wave of densely packed ghost light surged.

Tang Qi abruptly grabbed Sally, feigning a stomachache. With a faint movent of his lips, Sally instantly understood, supporting her “brother” as they quickly ran towards the apartnt.

The apartnt and Church were very close to each other.

Their movents were exceedingly natural, and they quickly returned to the apartnt.

“A Transcendent is attacking the Church!”

As soon as they were inside the apartnt, Tang Qi slightly opened the curtain, and then suddenly exclaid.

Sally’s face imdiately showed surprise.

Although only a rookie in the Mysterious Side, she was very aware of what the Church of the Lord of Light represented in this world.

To so extent, it was an institution even more inviolable than official governnt locations like “City Hall.”

But the scene before them could not be faked.

Looking outside through that small gap, the area of the Church in the night sky was completely shrouded by a dense “Beast Shadow.”

Correspondingly, on the ground below, in each dark corner, eerie shadows were writhing…

“A collective attack? Have they ford an alliance?”

Even Tang Qi could not hide the astonishnt in his eyes.
