Chapter 804 - The Ownership of the "Black Knight" Characteristic

Based on the ancient god-related knowledge previously revealed by "The Tower" and the recent information provided by "The Sun," it's confird that the ancient god Lilith was once betrayed by Giant King Aurmir, who was also from the humanoid faction, falling into an ambush that ultimately led to her demise along with the Demon Wolf King and the Mutated King...

Of course, now it seems Lilith only faked her death or resurrected later using a contingency plan.

But Lilith's subordinate deity, the "Goddess of Beauty," evidently didn't know this, which is why she was displeased with the "Queen of Calamity" and the "Harvest Goddess" being on good terms?

While thinking this, and cross-referencing the currently available information, Klein developed new questions:

The Dragon race has a "Dragon of Wisdom" nad Herabergen, equivalent to a deity in the City of Silver's terms; below Giant King Aurmir, there are also His eldest son, Badheil the "God of Dawn," and His Queen, the "Harvest Goddess"; the Elves, besides Elf King Soniathrym, have "Queen of Calamity" Cohinem, "Goddess of Beauty" Auernia, and the "God of Fortune" as Their subordinate deities...

Why do only the "Harvest Goddess" and "God of Fortune" lack true nas?

The latter is understandable; after all, He isn't a subordinate deity of the giants, so it's normal for the City of Silver not to have records... But isn't the forr the Queen of the Giant Royal Court?

"Mr. Tower" is also very interested in this period of history... Perhaps he knows sothing.

Thinking this, Klein leaned back, making the docunts in his hand disappear as he said with a smile:

"You may begin."

No sooner had his voice fallen than Ebner was the first to rise and bow to the head of the table:

"Mr. Fool, thank you for the aid you gave

in my battle with the 'Saint of Shadows,' helping to slay him..."

Klein's spirits lifted at the remark. He adopted a nonchalant posture and chuckled lightly, "It's a small matter, and you could've defeated him on your own."

This was true; "Mr. Tower" possessed too many formidable items. Given the Saint's state after taking a "Desolation" attack, he was surely dood.

Hearing their conversation, all the mbers of the Tarot Club, except for "The World" and "Temperance" who already knew, and little "Sun" who didn't understand what "Saint of Shadows" represented, were shocked by the implication of his words.

Has Mr. Fool beco capable of directly interfering with the real world and slaying powerful demigods of the Aurora Order? Is it because He gained the authority of the "Sea God" and the remnants of the Queen of Calamity, leading to further recovery?

What did "The Tower" do to directly confront an Aurora Order Saint? Was it Mr. Fool's mission? And from Mr. Fool's words, "The Tower" wasn't at a disadvantage then? This is even stronger than his brief confrontation with the "Demoness of Despair" during the Great Smog incident...

Thoughts began to race through "The Hanged Man" Alger's mind. He couldn't help but glance at "The Tower" beside him, wanting to figure out what exactly had happened.

"Justice" Audrey had no doubt that Mr. Fool could kill a demigod. In her mind, if not for "Mr. Tower's" request, such a great existence wouldn't even glance at a re demigod.

What surprised her was the frequency of demigod deaths after encountering "Mr. Tower"!

It's been less than a month, and two demigods have already died by his hand... You have to understand, the death of any such great figure is an earth-shattering event in the mysterious world!

Yet, with Mr. Tower, they died without a sound... Almost nobody even knows...

As far as I know, Detective Ebner went to Intis after leaving Backlund... So, he went to disrupt the Aurora Order's conspiracy in Intis?

Hmm, I rember Fors traveled with him... Perhaps when she and I both return to Backlund, I can ask for details.

Audrey, who had vaguely guessed Mr. Tower's identity after the Backlund premiere, thought this.

Fors the "Magician" didn't overthink it, simply being genuinely shocked by Mr. Tower's strength. She had previously thought that Ebner's power in Sequence 5 surpassed even Mr. Tower and Mr. World... Now it seems Ebner might not be able to defeat "The Tower".

Xio the "Judgnt" frowned, deeply feeling that the incidents Ebner was involved in were becoming increasingly terrifying, and she couldn't help at all...

"The Tower" is very strong; after offending the Demoness Sect, he even killed people from the Aurora Order... But what does that have to do with ? It won't affect my saving the Bloodline, nor is it anything interesting! Anyway, if there's a problem, just pray to Mr. Fool, and if this powerful individual needs to act, it can be handled through "Equivalent Exchange"! Emlyn grumbled, disdainfully disregarding others' emotional shifts, though his red eyes were also filled with surprise.

Cattleya the "Hermit" was the most shocked person in the Tarot Club because she knew of the "Saint of Shadows" and had even been warned never to provoke him, as he could even borrow power from the "True Creator" if necessary.

Yet, such a powerful demigod was actually killed by "The Tower"? Judging by his tone and the attitudes of others, is this not his first ti killing a demigod? Is "The Tower" a powerful Saint, or even an Angel?

No... that's not right, he doesn't feel like an Angel to , he should still just be a demigod with powerful ans...

Moreover, the "Saint of Shadows" was responsible for the Intis region... My previous judgnt should be correct; "The Tower" is an Intis citizen, or has long been active in Intis.

This gathering is indeed not simple. I wonder if there are other powerful individuals besides "The Tower"...

And these powerful individuals are all so respectful of "The Fool"...

The more Cattleya the "Hermit" thought, the more she felt that Mr. Fool's profundity was imasurable, just like His figure currently shrouded in dense gray fog. The clearer she tried to see, the more confused, terrified, and awestruck she beca.

At this mont, Ebner cleared his throat, pulling everyone's thoughts back.

He once again "respectfully" bowed and sincerely stated: "Respected Mr. Fool, without your help, even if I could kill the 'Saint of Shadows,' it would take a very long ti..."

This was the truth. Although the half-dead "Saint of Shadows" couldn't move, the remnant of Primordial "contamination" on him ant that even if he rged with the "Bone Dragon," he might not be able to eliminate him in a few seconds, which was naturally far inferior to the effect of a thunderous cleansing.

—In terms of offense, the "Tyrant" Pathway is still superior.

"Therefore, although you don't mind, I still want to offer you the 'Black Knight' characteristic." At this point, Ebner added a few explanatory words: "Previously, it was entangled with the other characteristics 'herded' by the 'Saint of Shadows,' and I paid so price to completely separate them."

Holding the "Magic Mirror," the "Black Knight" characteristic was useless in Ebner's hands. Even if he used it to forge a magical item, the side effects of sothing that had been "rolled" in a Primordial were definitely not small; it would be difficult for soone without a "cheat" to use.

And Ebner wouldn't feel comfortable selling such an item.

So, it was better to give it to Klein, firstly to give his "fellow countryman" so face; secondly, to allow "Creeping Hunger" to upgrade itself with it.

After all, in the current Evernight Kingdom, there was no Mr. A who had turned into a giant mushroom.
