Chapter 148 - Ending
"You're not in the right mood..." Cullen looked at Kuhn's angry eyes and frowned. He then looked at the navy pocket watch in his hand and asked, "How many tis have you used it today?"
Although a punctual Calamity was a sacred item of the Kuhn contract, and it wouldn't be too much of a burden to use it normally, it was ultimately a Beyonder item transford from a high-level Beyonder characteristic.
Even if it was compatible with a contractor, overuse would result in serious ntal corruption. After all, Beyonders below the demigod level had little resistance to divinity.
"I know! My spirit has been corrupted by the 'sacred relic', and I've beco irrational and irritable! I know all of this, but the idea of wanting her dead definitely cos from my heart!" Kuhn was emotional, but the firmness in his words showed his determination.
"Alright, we can give it a try." Cullen stared at him for a few seconds before finally nodding.
"But... will that witch just stand there and wait to be struck by lightning?" Judy asked worriedly.
With 10 seconds of preparation ti, as long as the Demoness wasn't an idiot, she wouldn't just stand there without moving.
"I think she will 'cooperate'... Of course, we can't just sit back and do nothing. We still have to put on a show." Cullen narrowed his crimson eyes as if he had seen through sothing.
"Acting... You an?" Judy was stunned at first, then she said thoughtfully.
"Don't say it out loud..." Cullen shook his head. His intuition told him that if he were to say it out loud, there might be other changes.
On the side, Kuhn scratched his head in irritation—the modified captain's hat had fallen off sowhere when he was caught by the Demoness. He asked in confusion, "What are you guys doing?"
"It's nothing. Just prepare for your 'calamity.'" Cullen shook his head, not prepared to explain anything. The Captain of the Mandated Punishers in front of him was clearly not in the right state. If he were to be agitated again, he might really go crazy.
After brushing off Kuhn, Cullen looked at the silver-armored giant who was fighting the giant flower, and then his lips moved as if he was saying sothing.
After the giant swung the Sword of Dawn and chopped off the blood-colored flower's flower plate again, he turned his head and nodded slightly. Then, before the flower recovered, he grabbed its stem and pulled its entire body away from Demoness Ray.
Seeing that his captain was holding back the giant flower, Cullen turned his gaze to the row of grapevines not far behind the Demoness. His lips curled up slightly.
He then looked away and said to Kuhn, "You can get ready." Then he turned back to Judy and said, "Judy, you're going to join
in pinning down the Demoness with long-range attacks."
"Understood." At this mont, Judy roughly understood Cullen's intentions. Without hesitation, she took out a handful of seeds from her bag. They were all powerful Beyonder creatures refined by her father. They were considered a type of golem, but they usually existed in the form of seeds.
Kuhn nodded as well. He pulled the button on the top of his pocket watch and turned the needle back to 10 degrees! This ti, the black diamonds embedded on the surface of the watch began to turn light. Dark clouds began to pile up in the sky above where Kuhn was, and silver electric snakes were shining. It was extrely terrifying.
Seeing this, Judy also quickly scattered the dozens of seeds in her hands. Those seeds grew as soon as they saw the soil, germinated, blood, and the result was smooth.
The last fruit that fell was a 1.8-ter tall soldier wearing golden armor and holding a long sword.
As soon as these "soldiers" landed, they ford a formation and charged towards the Demoness in an orderly manner.
Seeing this, Cullen used the darkness domain type spell, Abyss Shackles. He raised his hand slightly, and the shadows around Ray instantly gathered together as if they were alive, turning into pitch-black chains that tightly wrapped around the ice around the Demoness.
When Ray saw this, a smile appeared on her bright face, and then her body burned with quiet black flas from the inside out.
The black flas pierced through the thin ice and instantly landed on the chains ford by the shadows and silently burned them. Using their spirituality as fuel, they quickly burned the chains back to their true shadow.
But at this ti, the golden-armored soldiers had already arrived. They surrounded the Demoness and raised their swords to slash at the ice around her.
With a thought, the black flas that burned the shadows turned into bullets and shot at the golden-armored soldiers.
However, when the black flas landed on the soldier's body, the golden armor actually shone with a dazzling light and quickly extinguished the black flas. In the end, only a black mark was left on the surface of the armor.
"Your defense isn't bad. Although it's not as good as a Guardian, it's not much worse than being afraid of death... However, it's still a creation of the Mother domain." After Ray sighed with interest, the tattoo on her naked back trembled slightly as though it was alive. The bullets ford from black flas were imdiately dyed a dark red color.
Right on the heels of that, the golden armor of the 'soldier' silently ignited, burning to ashes in a second or two, revealing the wooden, rigid figure inside.
However, at that mont, the punctual Calamity needle finally returned to its original spot. As the ten black gems turned pale, silver bolts of lightning suddenly fell from midair.
The punctual Calamity Scourge only had twelve degrees on it, corresponding to the twelve black diamonds. Once the needle returned to the twelve degrees, it would launch an attack that truly belonged to Sea King in 12 seconds!
Unfortunately, with Kuhn's ability as a Sequence 5, 10 seconds was already the limit. Even so, this attack truly possessed the power of a demigod. Furthermore, it was a continuous attack of a demigod!
The lightning spread its "branches
