Chapter 1194: “The Avengers”

"Because of the ’misfortune’ I bestowed, combined with the tricks played by the old grandfather on Leonard, Ince Zangwill will be forced out of the Spirit World on Oates Street...

"And Captain and Ms. Daly are in a café on Oates Street, so the Captain directly engaged Ince? Is the Captain really that reckless?

"Of course, the most urgent matter right now is still to rescue Danitz..."

After reading the three different prayers, Klein’s attention was still focused more on Danitz’s side, because his condition really was already extrely bad.

And the other party was also one of the very few people Klein could truly call a "friend."

"Danitz is currently trapped in the ’cycle of fate’ of the ’Angel of Fate’... Rescuing him actually isn’t difficult. As long as I wait until the next ’cycle’ begins, block him the mont he sees the mythological form, and then bestow a ’Paper Angel’ blessing, that will do.

"But if I do that, the ’cycle of fate’ will most likely be broken... and the thod the other party is using to trap Adam and prevent Him from imdiately tracking down ’0-08’ will also be declared a failure...

"And that also ans that in this struggle, I’ll be standing on Adam’s side, offending the ’Angel of Fate’ as well as the ’True Creator’ behind Him.

"But that doesn’t really matter. Offending the ’True Creator’ isn’t sothing I’ve only done once or twice...

"Besides, the fact that Danitz just happens to be in the ’cycle of fate’ and even knows to pray to

for help is also very suspicious... Could it be that Adam had already ’arranged’ this long ago? Deliberately using my power to break free?

"But if He already knew the ’Angel of Fate’ would descend, why would He still get trapped by the ’cycle’?

"Could it be that He prepared a backup plan in advance, just in case?"

As thoughts surged, Klein picked up the "Error" card and began prying at the power of the space above the gray fog. Then, seizing the right mont, he tossed the "Paper Angel" into the deep crimson star that belonged to Danitz.

Indo Port, inside the auxiliary exhibition hall of the Pitt Hotel.

Danitz, who had just died once in a loss of control, was now unusually calm, preparing himself to welco the familiar pain that was about to co again.

But at that mont, he suddenly saw an angel with a blurred face, and saw the other party wrap him layer after layer with many pairs of pitch-black wings!

Imdiately afterward, all the pain seed to leave him. His swollen body and bloodshot eyes also returned to normal.

"Gehrman didn’t lie... it really works... Was it that ’Fool’ who saved ? He actually sent an angel to rescue ?!"

At this mont, Danitz felt rather flattered. Toward the mysterious god known as the "Fool," he gained a few more points of goodwill and lost a few points of wariness.

However, just then, he suddenly heard an angry roar coming from an exhibition area on the other side of the hall.

Danitz instinctively wanted to look over, but he imdiately recalled the lesson from earlier. He hurriedly shut his eyes tight and curled his entire body into a corner ford by the collapse.

Above the gray fog, Klein, who was observing Danitz’s condition through the "deep crimson star," nodded in satisfaction.

Danitz dared not look, but Klein saw things clearly. Adam, who had broken free from the "cycle of fate," had "summoned" a church—a church of bones that did not feel the least bit eerie, but instead brimd with a sense of holiness. It enveloped the "Angel of Fate," whose back was filled with heavy curtains, as if Adam had already turned defense into offense and seized the initiative.

But for the ti being, They were still locked in a stalemate, unable to determine a winner.

"If there were a third party involved now, this would be the best mont to seize ’0-08’!

"And at the sa ti, this is also the best opportunity to ’hunt’ Ince Zangwill...

"The Captain and Leonard have already rushed over, and Ms. Daly is also providing covert assistance... so how could I be missing?

"This is the revenge of our Tingen Nighthawks team!"

Thinking this, Klein discarded all hesitation and worries and simply perford a divination.

Although he received the result "extrely dangerous," he still resolutely returned to reality, preparing to "teleport" his true body to Indo Port, "murder" Ince, and then advance to "Miracle Invoker" after succeeding.

However, before leaving the mysterious space above the gray fog, he suddenly rembered sothing. He stuffed a small "trick" that Mr. "Tower" had once taught him into the deep crimson star belonging to Ms. Daly, lest Captain Dunn be defeated or even killed by Ince before he arrived.

Only after doing all this did he simulate the sensation of falling and return to the washroom of his own villa. Then he directly went up to the third floor to ask Sharon whether she was free to accompany him on a trip to Indo Port.

Although this revenge belonged to the "Tingen team," Sharon had already been deeply involved in that incident as early as the fifth floor of the "Dream Maze Tower," so she was hardly an outsider.

Moreover, Klein’s hope that Sharon would co along was not because he needed her to take action. After all, if a demigod like her made a move, the ritual effect for advancing to "Miracle Invoker" would certainly be discounted heavily, and it was unclear whether the conditions could even be t.

However, as long as Sharon was present, it was a kind of "guarantee" for Klein—a guarantee that allowed him to completely let go and stake everything on one attempt.

And in response to Klein’s request, Sharon agreed without any hesitation. Imdiately afterward, the two of them disappeared together from the bedroom.

...

On Oates Street, Dunn, who had "blinked" behind Ince Zangwill, activated without hesitation the strongest attack of this so-called "Iron Man" armor—the "Storm of Light" that carried the power of "Decay"!

This was genuine demigod-level power. It had once blocked the "Black Knight" ability that Mr. A had obtained from the "Dark Saint."

But using this "Decay" power also ca at a cost—it consud vitality. Miss "Lazy" had once told him that it could be used at most twice. Once it was used a third ti, the armor would drain his life force dry and kill him.

And now, Dunn used it for the second ti right at the opening move.

The orange-red storm of light took shape instantly and struck Ince Zangwill’s body directly.

Where this vast light touched, clothes decayed, belts rotted, and everything irreversibly stepped into decay. Even that feather pen seed to dim slightly.

But the very next mont, Ince Zangwill appeared before Dunn completely unhard. He was still holding the feather pen in one hand and the belt in the other. His pants were still fallen down to his ankles, with no trace of any "rotting" at all...

As if everything that had just happened had been nothing more than a dream!

At this mont, Ince Zangwill turned around. In the deep blue, almost black eyes of the "Iron Man," a lightless darkness slowly rippled, as if saying: when did you get the illusion that you weren’t dreaming?

In fact, after encountering a series of unlucky events in the Spirit World and even running into the terrifying "Spirit World catastrophe" spoken of only in legends, how could Ince Zangwill not prepare for the worst?

Thus, upon entering reality and discovering soone trying to ambush him, he dragged the other party into a dream.

But because the opponent was a "Spirit Warlock," also highly skilled with dreams, he was able to break free imdiately after the attack.

Even so, that was enough. This "Iron Man" was, in the end, only a mid-sequence Beyonder. After losing the initiative of the ambush, he was no match for Ince at all.

Although Ince did not know why the other party had co to attack him, now was clearly not the right ti to ask. It was better to kill him directly.

With this thought in mind, Ince took a single step forward, about to deliver a fatal end to the "Iron Man."

—with his speed, Dunn simply couldn’t react in ti.

But who would have thought that just as Ince stepped forward, the pants fallen around his ankles tripped him, causing an obvious stumble.

The situation was this absurd. Ince, whose power was great enough to tear apart steel armor, failed under this accident to tear the fibers of the pants around his feet, delaying his movent by one second.

And it was precisely because of this single second that Dunn gained ti to react, quickly withdrawing and opening up distance between himself and Ince.

"Although I’m unlucky today, you will definitely die!" Such a "low-level" mistake made Ince furious. He was soone who valued his pride, so after tearing off his pants, the look he gave Dunn was filled with killing intent.

Although the opponent was retreating continuously with the help of "blink," such distance was still crossed in an instant for a demigod.

However, at this mont, a wraith suddenly erged from the Spirit World and latched onto the wig on top of Ince’s head.

Ince did not pay it much attention. After all, that wraith was extrely weak—so weak that it could not cause him any harm at all, and even his spirituality had not given any warning in advance.

With a single thought, he prepared to use an ability from the forr "Death" pathway to cause that wraith to dissipate on its own.

But who would have thought that at the sa ti, the wraith would vibrate the air and shout a word in the Giant language—no, more precisely, a na:

"Leodero!"

Originally, in places outside the Forsaken Land of the Gods, due to the lack of the "Lord of Storms’" divine power, even shouting the true na of the "Tyrant" would have no effect...

However, at this mont, dark clouds filled the sky above Indo Port, and the divine power of the "Lord of Storms" was running rampant, rely frozen temporarily by the God of Combat’s "Twilight" power.

Now that a god’s "true na" was spoken, divine power naturally responded, and the God of Combat did not seriously block it... or perhaps did not have ti to block it.

Boom! Boom! Boom!

In the next instant, several thick silver-white bolts of lightning fell out of nowhere, striking directly toward Ince and instantly engulfing him.

At the critical mont, the "feather pen" rapidly wrote on Ince’s clothes:

"...At the mont of crisis, Ince Zangwill once again used the ’Evil God’s Umbilical Cord’ on his body—the infant from gose’s womb, the umbilical cord that ca from the ’True Creator’...

"He directly let the ’umbilical cord’ absorb part of his own flesh and blood, swelling to the point where it could contain his body, and then drilled himself inside it.

"Relying on the residual divine power of the ’True Creator,’ although Ince Zangwill still suffered so injuries and lost nearly one-third of his flesh and blood, and the ’Evil God’s Umbilical Cord’ was exhausted of power as a result, he ultimately survived...

"However, the feather pen was in this attack..."

Just as the "Quill of Alzuhod" wrote to this point, it was directly seized by Ince, who had endured the lightning strike. He crossed out the final line and then continued writing rapidly on his clothing:

"Although injured, Ince Zangwill’s ntal state is extrely good, allowing him to effectively control his mythological creature form. Therefore, he decides to hold nothing back..."

If he didn’t fight desperately now, he really might be hunted down by the "Iron Man"!

As the classical feather pen finished its final stroke, Ince Zangwill’s body underwent a transformation:

His eyes instantly turned pitch-black, as if stained with ink. Fine patterns extended outward little by little, forming strange and twisted mystical symbols.

At his waist and ribs, his clothing swelled, flesh wriggled, and with a brushing sound, four arms without skin and wrapped in blood vessels grew out.

In the blink of an eye, this Nighthawk was already lying prone on the ground, having beco a strange monster with eight "legs" and white feathers!

His eyes were filled with rage. Any spirit, insect, or even bacteria on the ground that dared approach him inexplicably fell into slumber and perished... without being given a chance to chant incantations.

This was the fusion of the powers of "Night" and "Death"!

Imdiately afterward, Ince roared and prepared to launch an attack on Dunn.

But at this mont, another change occurred. Countless strands of spider silk burning with "black flas" wrapped in from all directions. Although they could not draw close, they severely interfered with Ince’s movents.

He imdiately turned his head toward the source of the "spider silk," only to see a "female" half-giant wearing bizarre attire, over two and a half ters tall!

Just as Ince’s attention shifted to the female half-giant, a gunshot rang out from another direction.

A figure clad in black armor and wearing a crown of the sa color was floating in midair at so unknown ti, wisps of smoke drifting from the muzzle of the revolver in his hand.

The chivalrous thief "Black Emperor," the "Iron Man," the half-giant "Magical Girl"...

The Tingen Nighthawks team, in different forms, had once again assembled here.

Inside the Pitt Hotel, Ebner, who was engaged in a "tacit" battle with two demigods channeling angelic power, distractedly "insighted" this scene and could not help but mutter inwardly:

"What is this?

"The Avengers?"
