Chapter 1192: Standing in Line and Battle

Publicly displaying extraordinary powers and killing a "Black Blade" positioned at the center of the stage should have been an extrely vile incident, yet it failed to draw any attention at all.

At this mont, all Beyonders simultaneously turned their heads to look toward the direction of the hotel’s attached exhibition hall, because angel-level power was being unleashed there without restraint.

As for ordinary people, although they were sowhat surprised that the impassioned speaker had suddenly "gone silent," in such a brief instant, they simply could not react to what had happened.

But imdiately afterward, a deafening boom resounded as a pillar of fla descended from the sky, piercing straight through from the "castle’s" roof down to the first-floor hall. Not only did it punch a hole clean through this seven-story-tall hotel, it also caused half of the main structure to begin collapsing.

And this was rely the aftershock of the battle between the Sauron family’s final angel and the "Red Angel" evil spirit that had co here for unknown reasons.

The crowd of Beyonders and ordinary people in the hall instinctively moved to look outside through the breach.

But at that mont, Ebner had already switched back to his main body and acted again, carving out a hidden space within the hotel, trapping the majority of the guests and the teams of mid- and low-sequence Beyonders inside it.

Of course, calling it "trapping" would be less accurate than calling it "protection."

Next, he turned his gaze toward the two "big shots" who had co specifically to attend the "Twilight Day Celebration":

The "Duke of Graycastle," father of Nasali, the student of the "Greed" lady—Lord Wimbledon Einhorn;

And the newly appointed Archbishop of the Church of the God of Combat, of mysterious origin—Lord Ivan Andronikos.

Wimbledon had a head of distinctive red hair and a handso face, looking much younger than his actual age, though his build was sowhat slender—especially when standing next to Archbishop Ivan, who was two ters thirty tall and powerfully built, making Wimbledon appear downright "frail."

They should have been the maintainers of order at the "Twilight Day Celebration," yet neither of them spared Ebner more than a glance. Instead, each employed their own thods and prepared to rush toward the attached exhibition hall.

However, their movents imdiately ca to a halt, because at so point Ebner had already appeared in front of them, smiling as he said, "This path is blocked!"

At the sa ti, the power of "Order" instantly transford the now-empty hall, allowing the two half-god powerhouses to imdiately understand that unless they defeated the unfamiliar powerhouse before them, they would be unable to leave the hall by even a single step... this was a "rule" established by authority!

After taking over the "Ghost Empire," although he had not yet fully mastered that battleship-like construct resembling a spaceship, as a "Seer," it was still possible to pry so power out of its "Hand of Order" to reshape the environnt.

For Ebner, who frequently pried into the powers of the "All-Knowing Eye" and the "Pure White Angel," this was already second nature.

Wimbledon and Ivan exchanged a glance, both realizing that the strange Saint before them possessed bizarre thods and that defeating him in a short ti was simply impossible. Once ti was wasted, everything would lose its aning.

Thus, the two of them tacitly each took out an item and softly chanted in the Giant language, "This is the choice of the era!"

In an instant, two powerful auras descended across space.

From Wimbledon Einhorn, black smoke billowed outward from within, as if erging from his very soul, quickly condensing into a "demon" with bat wings on its back and horns on its head.

This "demon" looked different from others of its kind—its appearance was quite in line with human aesthetics, with a playful smile hanging at the corners of its mouth.

Although Ebner had never directly t this "demon," he had long seen its appearance through "retrospection" and other ans... It was precisely Roselle’s adopted son, the mastermind behind the "Trier Abyss Descent Incident," Yaldabaoth!

On the other side, the giant ford from the orange-yellow light erging from Archbishop Ivan was also familiar to Ebner—it was Boris Vasika, the chief inquisitor of the Church of the God of Combat’s Tribunal, the "Glorybearer," whom Ebner had once fought in Groselle’s Travels.

So it really is you two... Seeing this, Ebner nodded.

These two were both mbers of the "Twilight Hermit Order." At the critical mont of the struggle over "0-08," the arrival of a duke connected to a demon family and an archbishop suspected of coming from the Tribunal at Indore Port was itself highly unusual. Ebner had long guessed that they would step in to assist Adam at the crucial mont.

And since I guessed you would co, how could I possibly not have made preparations? Ebner smiled faintly. Imdiately afterward, the historical projections of "the Sage" Bernadette and the "Black Saintess" dea erged.

Because the "Floating City" was still in the Forsaken Land of the Gods, still under the watchful eye of the "True Creator," in this round Ebner could only openly side with the "True Creator." Thus, he chose to block Yaldabaoth and Boris.

Moreover, this way, on the surface, I haven’t directly clashed with Adam, and intercepting Boris can even be explained as a personal grudge.

"Besides, the ’True Creator’ really isn’t a stingy god—the ’paynt’ given is quite substantial!" As his thoughts turned, Ebner let out a self-mocking smile. "Although this is most likely all ’arranged’ by Adam himself, and after seeing through His thods, I had no choice but to cooperate...

"The ’True Creator’ really isn’t good at scheming! At least compared to Adam, He’s not..."

...

While the phantoms of Bernadette and dea clashed with the descending powers of Boris and Yaldabaoth, the sky above Indore Port had sohow already beco densely covered with dark clouds. Countless bolts of lightning illuminated the heavens like daylight, accompanied by delayed thunder.

Yet the sunset, which should have long since disappeared, stubbornly hung on the horizon. The afterglow of "Twilight" spread across the city’s roads, reflecting off the lightning in the sky.

At this ti, a thick black cloud—so dense it seed almost solid under the orange-red glow—drifted above the Pitt Hotel. Its aura was terrifying, as if it were brewing so dreadful power.

Yet that power seed as though ti itself had been frozen, refusing to descend no matter how long it lingered.

Glancing at the "spectacle" in the sky through the breach smashed open by the Sauron family’s angel, Ince Zangwill finally ca back to his senses.

Taking advantage of the mont when the heavy curtain suddenly drawn behind the "Angel of Fate" obscured Adam, he decisively caused the various colors around him to intensify and overlap.

Just as this "Nighthawk" was about to enter the Spirit World, he suddenly saw that the chivalrous thief, the "Black Emperor," who had fallen here together with the "Angel of Fate" through the "door," abruptly took out a "crystal" and pointed it at him.

In the next instant, erald-green light erupted, striking Ince Zangwill, who was holding the feather pen.

"Misfortune... this is misfortune!" Ince Zangwill made his judgnt instantly.

Because he had once experienced this sa feeling in Backlund—when he had nearly been killed by Azik Eggers!

"So it was you who cursed

last ti!"
