After determining the direction of their advance, Ye Liuyun imdiately contacted Yu Xiaofeng to get an update on the army's progress and cultivation status.
"All divisions have secured abundant resources and are fighting with high morale. Their cultivation realms are steadily improving as well. I suggest letting them continue honing their skills for another six months before regrouping and preparing for the final battle against the alien races," Yu Xiaofeng proposed.
Ye Liuyun agreed, knowing that resources were the biggest challenge for the army to sustain combat and further advancent. Since they now had the opportunity to gather more, he didn't want them to miss out.
"Good. I'll have Tong Xin and the other artifact refiners upgrade the army's equipnt. The current storage capacity of the Yuan-storing stones is too small—even I find them insufficient. With the soldiers' cultivation levels rising, they'll need better ones anyway.
"Compile a detailed list of required equipnt and supplies, then have Tong Xin prepare them in advance. Also, report the quantities and types of elixirs needed to Liang Xue so she can arrange for their production ahead of ti.
"I'll also notify Xuan Yuanling to prepare additional cultivation resources for the soldiers and have them delivered during the regrouping period.
"And for you commanders, I'll arrange special resources to help you all advance further."
After finalizing these plans with Yu Xiaofeng, Ye Liuyun contacted Tong Xin, Qiong Qi, and Xuan Yuanling, informing them of the army's six-month regrouping period and requesting their assistance in preparing the necessary resources.
Throughout these discussions, Liang Xue and Wu Qingcheng remained by his side, listening to his arrangents. Ye Liuyun didn't mind their presence and even asked them to help coordinate so of the tasks.
However, once everything was settled, he prepared to leave again, intending to collect a few more uninhabited planets from the Demon-Repelling Star System along the way. Since he was already back, he figured it would be efficient to have his second avatar gather more of these rare, Buddha-light-infused worlds—especially since the avatar's spatial realm was currently lacking in planetary resources.
Seeing that he was about to depart, Liang Xue and Wu Qingcheng stopped him, worried that he might be gone for another extended period.
"Look at you—always rushing off without a mont's rest. Can't you sit down and talk with us properly for once?" Wu Qingcheng complained.
Hearing this, Ye Liuyun smiled apologetically, realizing how much he had neglected them. He imdiately sat back down, deciding that collecting planets could wait a little longer.
"How have your cultivation progresses been lately?" he asked, defaulting to his usual topic whenever he wasn't sure what else to say.
Liang Xue gave him a brief update, reassuring him that everyone had been making rapid advancents recently.
"That's good! Since combat helps you improve quickly, you can go practice on so of the surrendered ancient demon troops. There are plenty of them—just don't slaughter them recklessly. After all, they're part of our world now too," Ye Liuyun said imdiately.
"Don't worry about these things. We'll handle them ourselves," Liang Xue cut him off before he could continue. She then used telepathy to summon Fyeng Wanru, Feng Hongxiu, Lei Ming, and Jin Yuanhui—all four won arriving shortly.
Ye Liuyun nodded, but seeing them gather like this, he couldn't help but suspect they had sothing to say.
And judging by the lineup, he knew he was bound to concede. Liang Xue and Wu Qingcheng understood him best—anything they said was usually impossible to argue against. Fyeng Wanru and Feng Hongxiu were the toughest to deal with, often putting him in his place. As for Lei Ming and Jin Yuanhui, they spoke their minds without restraint, never playing by the rules, making reasoning futile.
The won grinned at him, stirring an ominous feeling in his gut.
"Do you… have sothing to tell ?" he asked, a little uneasy.
"Ah!" Feng Hongxiu sighed dramatically, plopping down beside him and clinging to his arm. "Now we have to go out of our way just to talk to you! Are you getting tired of us?"
Ye Liuyun's heart skipped a beat, and he quickly backtracked. "Just say what you want to say—I'll agree to anything I can!"
His survival instincts, honed by these won, were razor-sharp by now.
"Hmph! It's been ages since I last saw you!" Jin Yuanhui chid in, grabbing his other arm, leaving Lei Ming no space. Undeterred, she simply hopped onto his back and wrapped her arms around his neck.
"What do you an, 'anything you can'? Are you giving us bureaucratic answers now?" Fyeng Wanru added sharply.
Ye Liuyun sighed in resignation. "Just spare , alright? Whatever you want—as long as it's safe, I'll agree to everything!"
"Haha, Little Brother's reflexes are much quicker now!" Lei Ming laughed from behind him.
Only then did Liang Xue and Wu Qingcheng begin explaining their grand plan to him.
Every ti Ye Liuyun tried to object, Feng Hongxiu pinched him, Fyeng Wanru shot him a glare, and he swallowed his words back down.
After Liang Xue finished speaking, Fyeng Wanru chid in, "Stop acting like you're the one making all the sacrifices. We're the ones who haven't even complained yet! Besides, I've already spoken to your parents, and they agreed. Do you still have objections?"
Everyone turned their eyes to Ye Liuyun, waiting for his response.
Seeing the situation, Ye Liuyun had no choice but to say, "With this lineup, do you really think I'd dare to object?"
"We're all doing this for your sake, yet you make it sound so reluctant. You're really breaking our hearts!" Feng Hongxiu spoke up from the side, her tone dripping with feigned sorrow.
"No reluctance at all—I'm willing! I agree to everything!" Ye Liuyun hurriedly confird, not daring to say another word.
With each of these won taking turns, he knew he stood no chance in an argunt. Worse, if he misspoke even slightly, he'd offend one of them and end up spending ages trying to make it up to her later.
"So we'll go ahead and make the arrangents as you wish, then?" Wu Qingcheng asked with a sly grin, watching him closely.
"Yes!" This ti, Ye Liuyun didn't hesitate for even a second.
Only then did the won exchange satisfied smiles and rise to leave.
"Go ahead with your plans, then! Lei Ming, co spar with —let's see how much your strength has improved!" Before Lei Ming could pull her hands back, Ye Liuyun grabbed them, hoisted her onto his back, and shot off into the starry sky.
Lei Ming imdiately shrieked, "Nooo! Big Brother, this isn't my fault! They made co... Miss Liang, save !"
In the blink of an eye, the two vanished into the distance, Lei Ming's protests trailing behind them. The won rely chuckled, paying them no mind as they turned to inform the others.
Soon, the sound of thuds echoed through the cosmos. After thoroughly "training" Lei Ming, Ye Liuyun found himself on the receiving end of her demands for grilled at.
"You beat up, and now you won't even feed ? Fine! Next ti you need help with *them*, don't co crying to !"
Ye Liuyun thought it over—sotis, he really did need Lei Ming to smooth things over with the other won. In the end, he could only sigh in defeat, lanting how little standing he had in front of them. Now, even Lei Ming was beyond his control!
