The demon captain, a fourth-level Gu Demon nad Heiyan, carried with him a fourth-level Sky Demon Wolf, also under the control of their leader, Wu Xing. Having exhausted his temporal powers, Ye Liuyun had no intention of risking another attempt to subdue the Sky Demon Wolf and simply ordered Heiyan to delay its release.
Unexpectedly, however, the demon wolf broke free on its own—leaping out of Heiyan's storage space without warning and imdiately attacking its supposed master.
Ye Liuyun was startled. He hadn't anticipated that the wolf could defy spatial confinent.
Heiyan reacted instantly, his body hardening into stone to block the wolf's strike. The demon wolf, undeterred, pivoted mid-air, using its hind legs to kick off Heiyan's petrified form before lunging at a nearby Devil Beast. A single swipe of its claws shattered the creature's skull, and with a rebound, it pounced on another.
In just that brief exchange, Ye Liuyun recognized the Sky Demon Wolf's lethal efficiency—its combat instincts were razor-sharp, its movents decisive. He and his doppelganger had no choice but to intervene before more beasts were slaughtered. Six divine souls—three from each—surged into the wolf's consciousness.
Surprisingly, the demon wolf's soul was even stronger than Heiyan's. Fortunately, with six souls overwhelming its two, Ye Liuyun swiftly imprinted it with a slave seal.

"Once such treasures catch soone's eye, we'll be hunted down relentlessly day and night! What's more, they currently outnumber us—we're in grave danger indeed!" the avatar sighed in agreent.
"Yes, for now we can only hope they don't all co at once. Otherwise, we'll have no choice but to flee temporarily!"
Ye Liuyun also sighed, sending the second avatar's divine soul back to continue its cultivation. anwhile, he and the first avatar kept monitoring the situation in the starry expanse, swiftly deploying two more Spirit Fox warships into battle.
The ancient demons had already abandoned their own vessels, charging relentlessly toward the planet under the barrage of the Spirit Fox warships, chariots, and puppet beasts.

He issued strict orders: the Spirit Cats were to rely on their speed, striking swiftly and retreating imdiately—never lingering above the enemy's ranks. The mont the ancient demons' Third-Level Unity experts targeted them, the ships had to be gone.
The warships obeyed without fail, streaking past the planet at full speed, firing energy cannons in passing to cut down a few demon soldiers before vanishing again. They didn't wait to assess the damage—just attacked and fled.
Faced with such tactics, the ancient demons' elite warriors were left powerless. If they stationed themselves in the void, the Spirit Cats would bombard them. If they stayed in camp, they had no way of predicting when the next hit would co. And by the ti they gave chase, the agile warships were already long gone.
