"Master, you can truly absorb this type of energy?" Li Daoyuan had previously sparred with Ye Liuyun, but Ye Liuyun had never utilized this kind of power before.
Ye Liuyun didn't hide it from him. He released the power of Buddhist Light from his palm, letting Li Daoyuan sense it. Ever since absorbing vast amounts of demonic energy from the black pool in the secret realm, he had converted much of it into Buddhist Light energy.
The sheer intensity of this power left Li Daoyuan utterly astonished.
"If you possess such potent Buddhist Light energy, why haven't you turned out like the locals?" Li Daoyuan asked, puzzled.
Ye Liuyun chuckled and explained, "This Buddhist Light energy is rely another form of attribute power. Truth be told, I've had this power for a long ti, but it hasn't stopped from killing when necessary—it's never influenced in any way!
"So all that talk about it altering one's temperant or mindset is just exaggeration. It's simply how they perceive it. Still, I'd suggest you cultivate it if you have the ti. This power is quite effective against the alien races!"
After so thought, Li Daoyuan nodded. "Alright, then. During our travels, I'll absorb so of this energy too. Even if it's not much, it's better than nothing! Though I'll have to trouble you for the resources, Master."
Most of the resources he had once possessed had been taken by Ye Liuyun, leaving him only with essential weapons, treasures, and a modest supply for cultivation—nothing extra.
"No problem at all!" Ye Liuyun replied generously. "I'll test these resources first to see which works best, then stock up on that type and bring you a share."
Tian Dao, on the other hand, showed no interest in cultivating it. She had no desire for other attribute powers, focusing solely on her blade techniques and spatial energy. To her, mastering those two was already more than enough, and she wasn't one to be greedy. Knowing her well, Ye Liuyun didn't press her.
Once Ye Liuyun and the others finalized their plans to investigate several planets, he had already absorbed all the resources in his possession.
"That Golden Radiance Crystal is the most effective—its Buddhist Light energy is the purest! And it's surprisingly cheap, exchanging one-to-one with spirit stones. What a bargain!" Ye Liuyun concluded.
"Should I go buy more, then?" Li Daoyuan asked.
Ye Liuyun grinned. "No rush. Aren't we heading to those planets for reconnaissance? We might not even need to buy any—we could just mine them ourselves!"
He had always been frugal. If resources could be obtained for free, no matter how wealthy he was, he wouldn't spend a single coin.
They then had a maid inform Qin ngxi that they were in a hurry to gather dicinal herbs and needed to bid her farewell.
"So soon?" Qin ngxi was surprised they were leaving already.
But Ye Liuyun insisted—he had too many matters to attend to and couldn't afford to waste ti here with her.
"Alright then! Go ahead and gather your herbs. If there's anything you can't find, co back and let know—I'll help you search. And even if you do find everything, stop by once more before you leave. I have sothing to give you!" Qin ngxi didn't try to hold him back but made him promise to return before his departure.
"Fine, I'll co back before I go." Since it was on the way, Ye Liuyun agreed.
"People from our sect always keep their promises. Don't disappoint , alright?" Qin ngxi pressed, looking him in the eye.
"Seems like I can't refuse," Ye Liuyun muttered inwardly, but seeing the earnestness in her gaze, he nodded.
Since they would be returning anyway, Ye Liuyun didn't bother saying goodbye to the Qin family's patriarch or elders. Instead, he imdiately set off into the starry void with Li Daoyuan and Ye Tiandao.
To save ti, they summoned the Spirit Cat Battleship and perford a spatial jump straight to their target planet using the coordinates on their map.
Once there, Ye Liuyun stored the battleship and first circled the planet from space, scanning for possible locations of the origin energy. He soon realized that while the planet was uninhabited, it wasn't devoid of cultivators—many martial warriors had co seeking opportunities.
Most of them were clustered near a particular region, advancing toward a Thousand Burial Mountain. The area was teeming with feral beast and radiating strong energy fluctuations.
Ye Liuyun briefed Li Daoyuan and Ye Tiandao: "Everyone's gathering there—must be so valuable resource drawing them in. It's likely where the origin energy is."
The three of them headed in that direction. But as they descended, a nearby group of martial warriors spotted them and imdiately rushed over.
"Perfect timing—good practice for us!" Ye Liuyun warned Ye Tiandao, preparing for battle.
However, as the group drew closer, Ye Liuyun grew puzzled. Each of these warriors had traces of Buddhist light energy within them—clearly locals. Led by a Unity Realm expert, the rest were all at the seventh to ninth levels of the Dominion Realm.
"Hold on, don't attack yet—they're locals!" Ye Liuyun imdiately called out to Ye Tiandao.
Influenced by Qin ngxi's perspective, he had decided to assess the situation first.
The martial cultivators quickly surrounded them. The leader, a Unity Realm expert, visibly relaxed upon sensing they were only at the sixth or seventh level of the Dominator Realm.
With a sneer, he said, "Hand over your storage rings, then get lost! You're not welco here."

"We might give outsiders so courtesy on populated planets, but you've co here to plunder our resources. If we don't kill you, consider it rcy!"
Ye Liuyun imdiately understood—they had encountered a group of locals who played by martial law.
Still curious, he asked, "How could you tell we're outsiders?"
The group erupted in laughter again, staring at them as if they were idiots.
"Kid, you're really sothing special! Locals co here in teams to hunt outsiders. Why would a handful of you co here just to die?"
Ignoring their taunts, Ye Liuyun summoned a sphere of Buddhist Light in his palm—testing how they'd react to a supposed "local."
So of the martial cultivators laughed so hard tears welled in their eyes.
"Hahaha!" The leader struggled to contain his amusent. "Nice try, 'local.' Hand over your storage rings, and we won't kill you!"
The others roared with laughter again.
Ye Liuyun withdrew the golden light and said calmly, "Understood. The rules are the sa—strength decides everything."
