"Impossible!" Mulai blurted out.
But then he hesitated. "Though... with all those third-eye alien eyes you've absorbed, it might be worth a try. Still, the real defense of those ships lies in their formations. Just breaching the hull won't disrupt their overall protection."
Ye Liuyun mulled it over. Based on Mulai's answer, breaking through the defensive formations to directly damage the ship would be no easy feat.
Creating a gaping hole would be even harder. But if he could penetrate the formations and erase the inscribed runes on the warship, the task might beco far simpler.
So Ye Liuyun summoned Qiong Qi and other formation masters to help pinpoint the critical nodes. Once identified, he would launch the attack himself.

The reason his clone perceived it as a specin was that it showed no trace of spiritual energy—just the rigid corpse of a beast, as if long dead.
