"Their armour and weaponry are much better than ours," Zheng Huan still shared he information with Ye Liuyun despite their scepticism toward his ability. "Their battle formations are incredibly powerful! However, the soldiers' individual strength isn't that strong!"
Ye Liuyun took all the information in, nodding in agreent. As he probed more, he discovered that the Sanctuary knights did not rely on the use of puppet beasts or cannons. Surprisingly, it was their superior armour, weaponry, and battle formations that helped them win.
"Their armour and weaponry are fairly comparable to ours," muttered Qiong Qi to Ye Liuyun via telepathic communication.
His soldiers handed over the Interspatial Rings they had collected from the battlefield. Ye Liuyun inspected them and was surprised to find that these soldiers were remarkably wealthy. The resources a single soldier possessed were equivalent to the resources of a peak-level martial practitioner of the God Realm.
As for the commander's Interspatial Ring, its contents rivaled those of a clan patriarch.
Ye Liuyun brought all his soldiers into his Spatial World and commanded all the soldiers in his Spatial World to prepare for battle.

Ye Liuyun's intentions shocked and perplexed Zheng Huan and the others.

Finally, he unleashed the Devil Clan. "Your task is to intercept the fleeing soldiers and prevent them from getting reinforcent."
Ye Liuyun may also use this as a chance to test the Devil Clan's readiness in battle.
By now, Ye Liuyun's Blade Legion had already stord into the encampnt of the Sanctuary Knight, and the clamor of battle cries filled the air.
Seeing Ye Liuyun deploy such a massive army brought instant optimism for the rescue, and Zheng Huan and the others were filled with overwhelming delight.
The local garrison was utterly surprised by the expected arrival of such a powerful army. The Blade Legion easily breached the section holding the female captives.

Sanctuary Knight's commander realised right away that sothing was amiss. Since he had never seen Beastman troops before, he assud they were local reinforcents.
Moreover, the attack of the puppet beasts, war chariots, and energy cannons was overwhelmingly powerful, making it impossible for their battle formation to hold.
"Retreat!"
To avoid a futile confrontation, the commander calmly, yet quickly gave the order for the troops to withdraw from the campsite.
However, the Dark Legion closed in from both flanks, sealing off their escape routes.
The army was utterly dispersed as the war chariots, puppet creatures, and Devil Vine intensified their attack.
"Charge towards the city with all your might!"
Given the dire circumstances, the commander gave the order for all soldiers to charge towards the city to reunite with their reinforcents.
Together, Ye Liuyun and Manfeng were watching the battlefield from a distance.
"What an extraordinary man that commander is!" Manfeng praised.
"Can your praetorian stand against them?" Ye Liuyun inquired.
"Yes! We may be physically inferior, but we have the advantage in numbers. This is a great chance to train our troops!" Manfeng replied.
"You may proceed with it!" Ye Liuyun imdiately released the fifty thousand troops under Manfeng's command.
He noticed that although the Sanctuary Knights were in disarray, the commander's orders had given them a clear direction. All of them were charging towards the city, putting significant pressure on the Dark Legion pursuing them.
Manfeng promptly led the fifty thousand praetorians to aid the Dark Legion.
Just then, Ye Tiandao returned with the ten thousand won they had rescued from the Sanctuary Knights' captivity.
Without delay, Zheng Huan and his n dashed over to et them.
Ye Tiandao handed over the captives to them. Then, Ye Liuyun stored them all in his Spatial World.
Without delay, Ye Liuyun joined the battlefield himself, eager to gauge the strength of the Sanctuary Knights firsthand.
Zheng Huan and his comrades were imnsely grateful to Ye Liuyun. But with him diving straight into the battle, they didn't get a chance to express their thanks.
This wasn't the ti for words anyhow. They hurriedly led the won away to safety, using a diversion to flee to their rear lines.
anwhile, the fifty thousand Sanctuary Knights besieging the city, upon learning that their base was under attack, attempted to send reinforcents to their encampnt. However, they were intercepted by an equal number of Devil Clan, and the two forces clashed in a fierce battle with both sides equally strong.
The people inside the city walls had no idea what was going on. They had no idea where they had co from and dared not haste decision when they t up with these towering Devil Clan.
After determining the size and strength of the forces around him, the base commander promptly communicated with the army in the city. "Don't bother sending reinforcents. It's futile. There are too many of them, and they are too powerful. The sa destiny would await everybody who ca here."
"Preserve our strength. I'll lead my n to break through to the northwest of the base."
With that, he commanded and led his soldiers to charge toward the northwest.
It was the junction where Manfeng's army and the Dark Legion were to et.
"Trying to escape?"
Ye Liuyun imdiately caught on to his plan. Indeed, that was the only possible gap where he might manage to break through.

Right after the commander fought his way out of the encirclent, he was stopped by Ye Liuyun. With no other option in hand, he let out a long sigh and surrendered.

Uwillingly, hee commanded. Not only surrendered himself but also urged his soldiers to follow suit, sparing them from further sacrifice.
