Ye Liuyun's Divine Sense followed the fla energy, and from afar he saw a valley containing a massive lava pool, within which little bubbles were constantly surfacing.
At the edge of the lava pool, lay dozens of second and third level Fire Wolves.
"They're so powerful!" Ye Liuyun was quite taken aback by the Wolves' strength.
"You two stay back, don't enter the valley!" Ye Liuyun advised Man Shu and Ye Tiandao, before speeding up on his Skywalk Boots, aiming to secure the valley entrance first.
Before long, the Divine Sense of the Fire Wolves also detected Ye Liuyun and his companions. With a single howl, the pack of wolves sprang into action, rushing towards the entrance.
Ye Liuyun was the first to reach the entrance of the valley.
Faced with so many Fire Wolves, if he didn't seize the advantageous terrain, he would have to seek the assistance of the Devil Vine.
The narrow geographical feature of the valley entrance was beneficial for his defense and inconvenient for the wolves to besiege him.
Ye Liuyun first used the Power of Ice to erect an ice wall to block the wolf pack's charge. Then, with a swing of his palm, he used the power of heaven and earth to strike.
The pack of Fire Wolves also used their fla power and instantly lt the ice wall.
As soon as a few Fire Wolves charged forward, they were imdiately pushed back by Ye Liuyun. Their bodies slamd into the wolves behind them, thereby effectively halting the pack's montum.
Ye Liuyun quickly drew his sword, relentlessly slashing at the Wolves who were at the front of the pack.

A third level Fire Wolf roared mid-stage and leaped into the air, spewing a mouthful of flas at Ye Liuyun.
Ye Liuyun was too busy to care about its attack. After all, he could absorb the fla energy.
He kept on swinging his sword, trying to take down as many Fire Wolves as possible in the shortest ti.
The spot where he stood was already ablaze with fierce flas.
Seeing that the third level Fire Wolf was unable to kill Ye Liuyun and that he was eliminating the Fire Wolves one by one, it grew desperate. It unleashed its Divine Soul power, charging directly into Ye Liuyun's Ocean of Consciousness.
"One! There are still two early third level Fla Wolves left!"
Ye Liuyun smiled, keeping count in his mind.

A long howl resonated, and the pack of wolves halted their attacks.
The body of the Wolf King fell from the sky, greatly shocking these Fire Wolves.
Using his Golden Phantom Eyes, Ye Liuyun activated his Spatial Force. The Fire Wolf with the lowest cultivation level vanished suddenly. When it reappeared, it had already been brought in front of Ye Liuyun, who then bisected it with one stroke.

An early third level Fire Wolf, provoked by Ye Liuyun, charged at him with fla-filled eyes.

As for Ye Tiandao, he slashed at the Fire Wolf mid-air, instantly appearing at the creature's face.
With a thunderous "Bang!", the Fire Wolf was only slightly hindered, unhard.
It halted in mid-air, then lunged again at Ye Liuyun.
Ye Liuyun slashed out with his sword. This stroke was not just imbued with sword intention, but it also contained all the power of heaven and earth he could wield and the advance energy of a virtuoso.

So for now, he was rely utilizing his blade intent and the power of the heavens and earth to kill the second level Fire Wolves. Simultaneously, he was using his Spatial Force to persistently avoid the attacks of the two third level Fire Wolves.
The two third level Fire Wolves were quick to react as well. Seeing Ye Liuyun not confronting them head-on, without hesitation, they turned and charged towards Manshu and Ye Liuyun, forcing Ye Liuyun to fight.
"Damn, these Fire Wolves have grown wily!"

Just as it was stiffened, Ye Liuyun appeared by its side using his Spatial Force, severing its head with a single stroke. Then he turned around and aid his blade towards the other Fire Wolf.
The other Fire Wolf had sent Ye Tiandao, who was holding his Turtle Armor, flying.
The Turtle Armor, having endured impacts and fire, had developed cracks and was considered ruined. However, Ye Tiandao was unhard, even finding an opportunity to strike at the Fire Wolf twice.
Yet, the Fire Wolf seed to have sustained no notable damage.
Just as it was about to pounce again at Ye Tiandao, a swift blade from Ye Liuyun swept in.
The Fire Wolf imdiately leapt to avoid, but Ye Liuyun used his Spatial Force to stay close to it and incessantly slashed at it with his Demon Slayer blade.
Man Shu and Ye Tiandao once again blocked the valley entrance, stopping the other second level Fire Wolves. The Power of Ice combined with Ye Tiandao's sword intention, one by one, dwindled the number of wolves.
anwhile, Ye Liuyun had already been battling with the third level Fire Wolf outside the valley.
The Fire Wolf's genuine energy was now nearly depleted, yet it was entangled by Ye Liuyun. It attempted to rush back into the valley, but was repeatedly stopped by Ye Liuyun. Failing to escape, it drowned in anger, fear, and panic.
Ye Liuyun used both the power of heaven and earth, and sword intention. Even though it's not as potent as his initial blow, it increasingly beca more lethal for the wolf.
Moreover, as Ye Liuyun continued to wield his blade relentlessly, he wasn't going to tire out, eventually it would be death by a thousand cuts for the wolf.
Out of desperation, the Fire Wolf decided not to dodge anymore, it braced for the pain of Ye Liuyun's strikes, planning to confront him head-on.
However, Ye Liuyun's Golden Phantom Eyes saw everything clearly. The wolf concentrated all its remaining energy into its core, preparing for a last-ditch effort.
So, for his next move, Ye Liuyun once again invoked his advance energy.
With a 'splat', the Fire Wolf was directly cleaved in two.

The Fire Wolf let out a pitiful howl before it breathed its last, presumably it found its death quite unfair.
